The really messed up thing is when your looks are bad and you ask why your dating life suck, everyone will say it's your personality. Family, friends, therapists will just say it's your confidence or energy. No one will just be honest with you.

    • @ascended266

Yeah, it's the uncomfortable truth that your friends, family and therapist don't want to tell you because they are trying to spare your feelings or gaslight you. My personality hasn't changed drastically from when I was overweight and bald, just my looks and it's a 1000% night and day difference. It's not your energy or confidence, it's 100% looks. I'm living proof of that.

I think your 80% right, it is mainly your looks. But personality does change from being overweight to healthy body weight. If your obese, your hormones are different, and these hormones influence your impulse control e.t.c. @@ascended266

@@anyamiranda9452Yeah not going to disagree with you. Though in the USA the women in that lowest looks rating are far more likely to get guys than vise versa. For women below 50 at least.
There are plenty of stats to back this up, and intuitively it makes sense because there are over 21 males for every 20 females biologically, and because of how serial monogamy works with age differences.
A man aged 45 might have been married, divorced, then remarried a younger woman. Even if it's not common, the small difference in numbers has a big impact because of how the game of musical chairs works.
So it's harder for older women and younger men due to the ratios of singles in their ages.

Because by agreeing with the premise that looks matter, it means that they kinda have to go down the rabbit hole about a lot of other things. Women especially hate to admit this because they don't only want to be liked for mostly their looks, they have to believe that they are super interesting or that their boyfriend would still like them if they were uglier. Also means they have to admit they are shallow, which to be fair all humans are shallow, but women do not want to be considered shallow, because that lessens their social credibility.

The kicker is that one of my really attractive friends keep giving me relationship advice…..that only works for him. I am now 68-year-old retired senior and to this very day continue to receive the nastiest and regular insults even from my fellow retired senior citizens because of my appearance.
There was a cover Time magazine story in the early 2010s on why parents favor one child over another and the #1 reason was looks (my own parents had nothing but loathing, neglect and disappointment for me). Wherever I go I'm regularly insulted, put down, eyes roll and faces grimace.
Since COVID, I began wearing a mask and continue to do so now in all public places, including my apartment building. That way I'm not insulted or looked down upon for my looks.
Sadly, I can say that in 68 years of living on this earth that I have never had a happy day in my life.
With the advent of present day cosmetic surgery, I certainly would have undertaken an operation to deal with my looks. But, life has passed me by and it's too late to turn back.

@dreadpirate3159 . Tired of neurotypicals like you or Chads constantly telling people about thier experiences here on this matrix from your own biased lived experience. Pretty much gas lighting at this point. For some people, the phrase "you should improve" means fundamentally changing who they are as a person to be accepted. Specifically, changing thier looks (not appearance), personality, speech patterns, learning style, etc.) that is essential to who they are. Especially if they are neuro divergent and dont fit inside the societal hive mindset. At my age, im tired of the societal BS that seems to only work for a certain set of people. Dont want to play that game anymore, its exhausting and futile.
Im halfway through my life, if im lucky. Hopefully, I get to spend the final half accepting and being happy with who i truly am, not some stupid projection of what society at large or women expect me to be.

I know there's a lot of black pill people here, but the moral of this story isn't that being attractive = better life. Once you become conventionally attractive those same stuck up women become like moths to a flame, and the result is that you're surrounded by the most toxic people all of the time.
My friend has this issue, instead of bullies he's literally being harrassed by these hypergamous women, who demand his attention even though they have boyfriends.
You know who else wants to be around attractive guys "mentally ill" guys and women. And when you say "No", or you want to spend time with your actual friends, then suddenly they yell and blame you for their problems, and threaten self harm, or even suicide if you don't give them enough attention.
Yes, being lonely sucks, but the truth is there has never been a better time in life to be lonely.
When people leave you the f--- alone, you can do whatever you want.
But when you're attractive, it's like you don't even own your own body anymore, and this sustained harrassment has a negative impact on your mental health.

What I have experinced in my late child/early teen years (10-11yr) is that my friends were different with me when we were in a group. For example if me and my friend were doing something together and then another boy showed up on the scene, my friend would just act different and make jokes out of me etc., so it really just signalled that they were trying to prove to that other kid that they are not 'really' my friend at all, as if being seen with me was a shame. But they were always nice to me when we were alone. And this happened to all of my friends, no exceptions. That's when I decided that I don't need them because of this. I could say I had lots of friends in my child years, but I lost them all when I became a teen, and I didn't really have friends ever since. I am 31 now.

I actually just started focusing on my health more at 23 and I went back to my ten year highschool reunion last year. I was the best looking man there by a large margin. All of the former jocks were either bloated alcoholics or just plain morbidly obese. Pretty much all of their wives/gfs were the same girl that they broke up with and got back together with four times in high school. I had three women that night tell me they couldn’t believe I was single and how much I changed. After a few drinks I ended up sleeping with one of them that night. My point is that all of the people that bullied me in high school just ended up settling with the girls that got tossed around town like hackysacks. Going to the same bar every night, talking to the same people about the same things and never moving forward. Get out and work on your health. It’s pretty much the only thing that matters.

word. but that should be to no surprise... being fat is the biggest online dating killer for men. Bald is not even close. where i live, bald men are literally everywhere and just normally dating as anyone else. balding as a young man is so hard as bald men are barely represented in media. so you have no "grip" on visual culture and sex symbols. Its sad but it gets better the more you refuse social media as a whole and just focus on real life.

If they can find someone than i can too and height isnt a factor. Women will say im perfect but refuse to date me bc of my height...they literally say it. Yet ppl will swear up and down its not my height 😂...im like dude u arent me...it also doesn't help that i look very young, im 30 but can fit in with middle schoolers(not exaggerating). My face isnt ugly i am good looking but i only appeal to lil girls...ive had school age girls try to talk to me. It just sucks to always hear im perfect but something i cant change is the only thing stopping me from finding love. So ive stopped trying tbh...havent gotten a hair cut in a couple of months...dont even clean up my facial hair...pretty much wear the same thing all the time...i barely smile anymore(and that is one of the things im known for). Even if you have many features that aren't seen as desirable, it doesn't mean there is NO hope. If you're balding, its better to just cut it all off. Then you can at least have that bald/buff aesthetic going on after you hit the gym. Especially training your neck helps a lot, it makes your jaw more pronounced and makes you seem bigger overall. You can still have a good career and make good money which helps a lot. You can have a healthier lifestyle to have more energy and have a more positive attitude.
But there are some things that are closer to being out of your control. Like facial deformities, severe acne, messed up teeth. Especially if you come from a poor family that can't afford things like braces when you are young to fix your teeth.
For these things it is better to just ignore them. There is no point in worrying about what you can't change. Best of luck in your life :)

  • @Player-re9mo
    @Player-re9mo Місяць тому +9

It's a vicious cycle. If you're fat/unattractive you'll develop insecurities. You won't be able to make friends because you're insecure. You'll resort to eating/avoiding people people because they'll make fun of your insecurities. And you'll grow fatter.
Something similar happened to me in high-school. I'd say my main flaws were being fat and shy. I got bullied because of it, but noone cared. This made me isolate myself from others. Because of it, I now struggle to socialize in public. If I had friends, I would have been more sociable, perhaps even lost weight and gotten a girlfriend. But noone wants to be a friend with a fat shy guy.
Also, I can confirm people will treat you like you're less intelligent based on your looks. Whenever I solved a problem in class, people would act surprised or pretend the answer was obvious. They would also be shocked when they found out I can speak multiple languages and I love swimming. It's weird, but they expect you to be less capable because you're ugly.
I've now graduated from college and lost my hair at the same time. I'm too scared to try any procedures. This hit me hard.
But now I care less what people think of me. I want to grow muscles and practice martial arts. I want to become rich and meet a beautiful and loving woman. I want to show the middle finger to all the douchbags and their girlfriends who treated me like trash. Or at least die trying. Because DAMN IT I REFUSE to live my whole life as a loser.

It all depends on what kind of "healthy" food you're talking about. Being vegan is considered "healthy" by a lot of "health experts" but when you look at vegan men, they look stunted. I'd recommend high quality meat like grassfed beef and lamb, pasture raised chicken, wild caught seafood etc. even though "health experts" want you to believe these are all not good for you. I have no idea what's causing your balding but it could possibly be from lack of sunlight exposure and too much masturbation, castor oil could help. Everything isn't always genetic. You're genes are expressed in response to the environment you grow up in. I just hate how incels make it out like it's over and there's nothing you can do when in reality you can improve if you put the effort in. Sure being short is something you can't change but the more masculine you look, the more serious people will take you even if you're short which is why every man should strive to increase testosterone levels.

I've been with women between 5' to 5'7", average weight 115 lbs. Most of them with a cute girl next door look, I can't say I've been with an absolute knock out that people stop and stare at when she enters a room.
I have no complaints, I'm grateful.

I dont believe i was ever attractive honestly.
I dont know if im ugly or not, but personally i just dont care about it. Frankly, for all the crap in my life, i know I'm not living out a fake life, surrounded with the internet, plastic surgery and a million bot accounts, all telling me "yasss queen slayyyyyy".
Lots of people were blessed with good genetics, and a good supportive honest family. Cant say the same, but i xan only be grateful im not living worse than other people do.
Rule of life, no matter what top shXt you think you are, theres always going to be someone who has it better or worse than you.
If im ugly, thats fine, i think we're all ugly in our own ways, and true, nobody's inclined to love me or be attracted to me, you cant force love.
But having said that, i cant stand the patronising attitudes some people have, talking down to you like you need their pity.

There are some upsides to unattractiveness. aging doesn't really seems to affect unattractive people as much as it does for attractive people. I see plenty of attractive people struggling mightily with aging. Losing pretty privilege is like coming down from a life long high. The higher you're, the harder it seems to hit. Also, you know who your real friends are because they chose you for who you're as a person, not as a token to boost their social currency. Then there is the fact you know what you've got in life in terms of achievement is the result of your own hardwork and skill. You definitely dont get any free rides to get to where you're or will be.

So, I went from “unattractive” to “desirable”. I’m still the same cool person and realized during my transformation from the friend zone that the Women I wanted to attract are complete ass. Then the ones that YOU reject get upset and think you’re stuck up when you’re simply not attracted to them. Real shit, now getting to be on both sides of the blade, it’s better to try and be comfortable with yourself. Being seen as a “shiny piece” of meat or “competition” instead of a person has hurt a lot more sometimes than when I’d be called the worst names in front of people. I was always the fat, funny, ugly friend so I was always outside looking in. Please work on your Mental, I can’t stress that enough. We’re in this bitch together! No one left behind!

Thanks for the compliment and for the feedback. I definitely want to get on camera in the future. I don't have a camera/lighting at the moment. I get mostly good feedback about the stock footage but I see where you're coming from, some of it is cringe.

Im almost 31 and never had a relationship basically never had any friends either. When i worked at a deli women would walk up to where i was working just to ignore me when i tried to serve them that always baffled me though because it would always be a full staff there so why not just get one of the other workers attention if a customer walks up to me i had to greet them or ask if they needed help i hated working with customers because women would do that all the time like wtf im only talking to you because you literally walked up to me. Eventually i moved to the kitchen in the back of the house to avoid all that. I dont even im ugly im just a frail ass dude 115 pounds my metabolism is insane smh

I dont know if im attractive or not , but women i approach they first act like they're interested , then when i ask them out they say yes and when we go to dates thats when I get the rejections , and the women i get approached by are usually unattractive or women i cant take seriously at all. I'm either really dumb or the women i've went out with probably didnt know what they wanted and at this point i've given up trying.

You can get bullied for being handsome by jealous guys.

    • @Ulfrich_Stormcock

Or one female coworker talks to you more than her fat friends. Thats my experience. She doesn’t mind me texting her and talking to her throughout the day whereas I cant even get a good morning or a hi out of her fat friends. I dont understand it. Then again I dont get invited to any happy hours or anything. Ive been working at this job since late January. Most of my coworkers are 30s at the youngest, with the average age being mid 40s, and I am the youngest guy there at 26. My one coworker laughs at my jokes more than my other coworkers. It’s weird because she doesn’t want to interact with me as much in front of her fat friends but seems to open up a bit more when they’re not around.

This is actually true and it may actually make it harder to get a job as a lot of guys will be jealous as they know they will be watching you get attention from women all the time and not hire you.

You are very right abt working harder than most. They also treat you different if you are different mentality. When u are unattractive the bullying ramps up. If u have an issue abt anythg ... ppl will target you. In some cases they can work together to make situations for you worse.
