Just my point of view . You have made the good choices. Your spec is perfect . The grey color match with the black of the carbon fiber . In addition you gold wheehls and the Porsche stikers give the good touch of color. The lift of the car is a very nice option when you are in town. Happy Christmas MAT .

Matt awesome spec, definitely sweet satin PPF! Totally agree with you regarding gold decals, just have them redone with less yellow tone and a bit more gold to better compliment wheels 👊🏼
Residuals are strong for Porsches in general and especially GT cars. As long as you take care of it and don’t damage it (curb a $5k wheel) it will hold value. That is great for money spent on a car. That said, it is NOT a good investment. Let’s say you sell it for what you paid in seven years. Basically your cost is maintenance and interest on your loan and having the money tied up. Clearly $250k invested over seven years likely would be $500k. Interest and opportunity cost would likely be about $300k over seven years. But the experience of owning and driving that is priceless.
Great car Matt but really sorry to say for me the decals should go…… everyone can see what it is….. they’re a bit like oversized logos on puffer jackets!!!

Nothing is sadder than an elite car that is never driven, what's the point in having? So it looks like a museum piece in your garage with no kms on it?
Since he is financing a large portion of it and doing so for a fairly long time his cost is not going to be what he paid for it to begin with. In addition, since he seems to be driving it at over 100 miles a per month, it will soon get over 1,000 miles and loose another 5% or so of its value. This is of course before factoring in all the high costs of ownership (insurance, maintenance). Finally as others pointed out, a lot also depends on what Porsche comes out with next - what is the next hot Porsche.

Hey Matt, could you just enjoy your car please, and DRIVE IT! Who cares what it’s worth. You did what you did, for you.
You are driving me nuts!
Porsche dealers too are selling them for £380\390k. Even though you would be blacklisted if you made a profit !
Porsche buy yours back at £220k as you can't make a profit but a Porsche dealer can make £160k+. I presume they donate it to local charities.
Thankfully the Porsche bubble is showing signs of correcting with prices over the last 6 months dropping to more (but not quite) reasonable levels so will be time to buy soon.
Mat Twatson is getting in the business of car flipping
Good luck to you Matt, please don’t flip it. You are incredibly privileged to be allowed to buy one, I hope you realise just how lucky you are. The satin wrap is pants and gold stickers are not really doing it for me as they do not match your wheels.
Keep your RS, enjoy it for years to come with the knowledge of having the full support of Porsche behind you.
Just my point of view . You have made the good choices. Your spec is perfect . The grey color match with the black of the carbon fiber . In addition you gold wheehls and the Porsche stikers give the good touch of color. The lift of the car is a very nice option when you are in town. Happy Christmas MAT .
Sorry Mat, I agree that the gold decals do not look good and they are barely visible.
Needs to be a darker colour to stand out.
why where you even allowed to buy one you dont have a history of buying loads of cars from them.
The more clout you have, the more you get.
Since the spec video was filled with decisions driven by the resale value incentive we all see where this is going
Didn’t think it was possible to ruin one of them cars but I think you have done a very good job. I can’t believe you chose that from your own spec
God-damn, the black one looks so much better :D
Black paint is a nightmare for swirls and imperfections. I'd take the silver any day of the week!
I’d choose your one over the black one any day of the week. You’ve done a really good job on yours. Very tasteful.
You as the owner - should like the car and not worry about what other people think.. Bought it for yourself or for the next owner?
Love love love this black better than yours Matt. Not too flashy and shouty as your spec
When electric cars take over the market, the price if this car will sky rocket❤
This car will be junk because people won’t want to run gas stations. Also the parts are too finicky to get once the supply chain will become worthless. You can’t fix it because you need help of manufacturers to fix major issues, overall horrible.
@@sa34w That won't be the case if there is a demand for these types of driver's cars.
@@sa34wwhere did you come up with this theory liberal?
Why would the wife be upset over the money spent on a Porsche of this level.
It's not a the daily.
She's probably got her own luxury car.
She's got the dream home.
She's got the shoes and hand bags.
Why would she care how much hubbies spent on his dream car.....especially knowing its very unlikely to ever lose value.
Everyone should be happy 😊
that black one looks mean af!
Mat, I've been wondering when you're going to send it down a A-road! 😊
That wing looks utterly ridiculous.
The black one is so much more 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is Matt still drooling ... doing an entire program on his car, ...a fan boy !!
Britain: struggling to make ends meet
Matt Watson: lol guess how much my Porsche is worth
I know,
This Watson character is steadily beginning to get on my nerves,
Becoming full of his own self importance....forgetting about real folk who actually have to work proper jobs just to barely pay the bills and not much else
Utter To##er😢
@@plug6038if you do well for yourself, you should be allowed to enjoy it. Otherwise what are we meant to aspire to
@@plug6038typical poor people mindset
Yeah some people do better than others? Why is that Matt or anyone else’s problem? Focus on your self poor 🥴
@@plug6038you seem to forget that Matt pays more in tax than most of these other people you mention earn.
The silver one is definitely better looking than the black. In general though, it is a masterpiece for the track, but soo overkill on the road.
I enjoy your car reviews and i am absolutely happy for you to reward yourself after years of hardwork i hope you keep the Porsche forever and never think to sell it ❤
Hey Matt, are you gonna make a video about how the GT3 RS drives? Or kinda like an overview with pros and cons
Matt awesome spec, definitely sweet satin PPF! Totally agree with you regarding gold decals, just have them redone with less yellow tone and a bit more gold to better compliment wheels 👊🏼
love the car matt but if im honest not feeling the gold graphics something not right with them
I think both cars looks wicked!
Looks proper mean in black. I prefer it to the silver.
Don't worry Matt it's not an expensive corsa
It's an expensive beetle
The black is 1,000 times nicer than the silver! Boy messed up! May as well park it in the river.
Matt can you make a video of how you got the allocation?
Probably because of his status in the car review world and he will have good contacts at Porsche.
Blowies
The second gent has got some banger humour. Dig it. Flippen rad cars. Would agree that the decal’s should probably go black.
Any car enthusiast knows a new gt rs is going to be worth well over 300k .
The new gt3's are selling for a minimum of $300k.
I do like Matts spec and hope he enjoys the car and not get caught up on what it's gonna be worth in the future .
This video kinda gives me flipper vibes 😅
Nothing is sadder than an elite car that is never driven, what's the point in having? So it looks like a museum piece in your garage with no kms on it?
Matt did the worst spec possible, then did even worse to it after delivery. What did you all expect?
Shut the fuck up where's your porsche
Definitely old person spec but I wouldn't call it the worst
Everything that's wrong with car culture today in a single video. Nice job!
Yea it's awful imo, but some people appear to be lapping it up. Watching endless videos of titivating, talking about values, stickers and seatbelts.
It's a pointless path to baby the car, put stickers on it and wait for the next GT car to not put miles on and just talk about values- such a waste!
I didn’t believe a second that he financed this. Nobody buys a super car financed lmao. They pay hard cold cash.
@@noirrain6005 a lot of them are financed even if they have the means to buy outright. With this car, the finance is part of an endorsement/advertisement for a finance company hence it always getting brought up
@@noirrain6005bruh…..you dont know nothing……….
@@salitolo3050 I don’t know dumbos. You are right. Imagine financing a super car lol.
The terrible thing that “porsche owners” do many of the times with anything up to a turbo S, for example, are flipping he cars. When we got our 911 Porsche, they were talking to us about this guy buying a 911 Turbo S that was $210,000 and sold it with 15 miles on it…. 💀
Love your enthusiasm Matt for the RS
knowing he can get $200k over what he paid for it, I think that helps. 385 is low. Ive seen 8 on FB for 450-550.
I hate to say this Matt but the gold decals really cheapen your car, they’re not pretty. This is a very special car and I reckon the dealer nails it when he says that people looking to buy a car as special as this, want factory spec.
Why would you not go to carwow ?
Did a “Car Horizontal “ check on your car Matt, it said the Front Number plate was illegal, it was worth £266k and if you make a profit you’ll be due to pay Capital Gains Tax 😂
