- LIFE UPDATE: This week, our story was on the news -- 'A Current Affair' in Australia.
"A Melbourne couple has taken that plunge - buying a yacht and sailing far away from the restrictions which plagued their state.
Kristina Costalos and John Tilley are now three months into their adventure and judging by the water which circles their boat in Airlie Beach right now, they're not looking back."

It's not covid times anymore. It's become tyrannical times.
Love the videos. Covid has me stuck on the Gold Coast, blocked from returning to my boat in Turkey, so watching you both is a lovely sort of replacement. I am a pilot as well, and flew the same B737 as John. I am so impressed at how quickly you have adapted, but then pilots seem to take to sailing quite easily, as clearly do video journalists.

@@KristinasTravels After a night with four teenagers, hard day at work, videos like yours show us that the simple things in life matter. Plus, I have started do videos for my business and the way you guys have connected to so many proves to me that making videos to tell our own story is worth the effort. Plus, I would imagine with your following on UA-cam it may lead to further income, which would help with the sailing kitty. I have some friends who have a UA-cam sailing channel called "Sailing Fair Isle" they are helped financially by having a Patreon. channel. Patrons would be a good idea for you, plus a website selling your own t-shirts etc.

Really tragic what is happening to you Australian people. The rest of the world is watching and we don't want that. Good on you. Stay strong and keep your mind open. The water may be best place to be for a while imo. That's how I found your channel.

The news story revealed where we are currently, so I had to give context! But yes, what I was trying to say.. is that the vlogs from Sydney will commence as usual after this random episode!
@@KristinasTravels All good. I gathered that you had moved on from Airlie Beach to Whitehaven Beach after the interview. The context that was confusing was the next line at the beginning (and your reply 😜) Saying "Continue to post vlogs from Sydney". I interpreted that as your where in Sydney and that was where you where posting the vlogs from. Not These are our vlogs "From our Journey Through Sydney". If that makes sense.....

But to be honest, it’s been a blessing I guess, as it absolutely reduces the pressure as we love to explore AND make videos for our friends, family and the sailing community 🥰🥰
