Great video, Mark! I'm glad the weather has taken a turn for the more pleasant. I'm sure marsh like the one you fished in this video, will produce some impressive reds for a while. Take care and be safe, anxiously awaiting your next video!
Thank you Christine!
I see you reeling to the cadence of the train!!! Some things never change!!! Semper!!!
😂
Always enjoy the videos sir. Thatnk you for sharing.
Appreciate it bro 🤙
Simple things bring me joy! Seeing the train in the video was neat
😂
Great vid Mark! Beautiful reds and scenery. Hope to fish up there someday! Blessings
Thanks
Another good one. Love seeing the fish getting a little more active. Can't wait to make the trip down to Surfside in couple weeks.
Good luck!
Great video - casting was awesome - the distance and accuracy was on point - tight lines mark 🙌🏻
Awesome, thank you!
Thanks Mark !
Thank you 🙏
Getting on em! Nice work 🙌
Appreciate it man. How’s fishing been down that way? The videos always make it look good and easy but we all know it’s a grind sometimes.
Another great video sir. Been there, done that in that marsh area. Wish i had those plastics on my day!
Next time!
Hahahahaha when I saw the intro. Me and my dad fished that area years ago. Man oh man brings back memories. We used to go under the tracks and head to the mouth where it heads out to the bay early in the morning and get some huge flounder
Classic 🙌
Nice video brother
Thanks 🤙
Cool video buddy
Thanks 👍
Thanks Mark for the vid. I know the area well and is great fun when you get on to them. I am curious about the app you use on your phone with the weather and other conditions.

Awesome 🎣💪
I appreciate it!

Good one bud
Thanks 👍
Try going to a bike shop to get some higher quality cables. I’ve been replacing rutter cables for my customers and they are working really good.
Thanks for the tip! I never thought about that but makes complete sense.
Nice spot and video
Glad you enjoyed
You are a brave man throwing 12lb leaders!
Thanks 👍
I throw 3 leaders depending on what I'm doing 8lb, 12lb, 20lb. If you don't try to bass fishermen them in, 12lb is great and can land most anything inshore.
Diawa shock leader 12lb. It's about $3 for 20 meters and comes on a spool the size of a silver dollar. Love it fits in a pocket and comes with a band to keep it tight to the spool.
What app is that you use to tell wind speed, water level etc.. ?

God bless you and your family my brother, great to see your video on this hidden marsh near I-45. Is this place for kayak or can you get there by land since I seen the train? Well it's been a while since I seen or sent you a text on your videos and again God bless you and your family always and forever. Pastor Samuel Alvarado 🙏🛐🙏
Thank you 🙏 it’s great to see a comment from you again!
Amigo saludos aquí viendo tus videos
Thanks 🙏 Marvin!
Thanks, will do!
@@MDLRFishing Thank you very mutch... have a nice day.... see you….
man i hope you have better luck with the shimano sahara , ive used my sahara 3000 once and now it very stiff to turn handle . hopefully academy will swap it out .
I’ve used the Sahara 500 for the past 11 years and they were amazing. Hopefully these will last just as long.
I have Sahara 500 and 3000 reels and have had no problems with them.
Can you wade this spot or is it too muddy?
Very muddy
You have more than gotten your money out of those mini Rapalas grips.
😂 they’ve been though a lot of close calls.
I have mine shock corded to my kayak just in case.
Y'all launch under the bridge?
👍 yee
Yes
By Bayou Vista,Jones lake
