Love the video! I’m thinking of getting me a kayak but not sure where to find the good areas to fish at. When I do get one I’m going to get the top of the line and get one that I don’t have to paddle all day long to get somewhere! Lol I like the ones that has a good trolling motor!

I used to bass fish but the majority of my audience only watches saltwater videos. It's not cost effective to drive two hours or so for several hundred views. When given the opportunity I do try to fish for bass.

Or is it just that it is more fun to sight fish? We ( my son and I ) don't Kayak fish but do a lot of float tubing and I've always wondered if that would work down there. Again a great video, thanks.
Bought an Old Towne pedal kayak last year after watching your channel and only in Central Texas fresh water so far. Where did you put in at in Galveston area? Thanks for these wonderful videos!
lots of places to put in! Plus also they have readily available maps online of specific kayak ramps versus regular boat ramps. And since it’s a kayak, lots of spots you can just pull over on the side of the road and put in too. But yah MDLR goes everywhere in Galveston and Freeport, so, there’s just too many to name. But again, fortunately, online boat ramp amd or kayak ramp maps!
i thought you could still catch and release flounders? I am mean if one bites it’s not like the warden’s going to hunt you down as long you release it?😅
I'm so mad that you're catching and not keeping fish. The fishing where I Iive isn't good. Do you know I wish we had good fishing here. I live in Florida.
South padre has way better fishing. The laguna madre is crystal clear in most area, with a healthy vegetation hosting all kinds of species. We have healthy, sheeppshead, snook, and mangrove snapper fishing in the bays and channels. As well as the basic flounder, trout, reds, and black drum. Honorable mention our jetties are far more superior. We can catch kingfish, triple tails, red snapper, cobia from the rocks. Oh and let's not forget the unbelievable tarpon fishing!

I do a lot of blind casting when the water is stirred up and murky.

Yes very true. I’m not going to specifically target them but if they bite… well, I won’t be heartbroken 😉.
