It's the freaking OHIO RIVER I've been in 150 bass boat tournament that's 300 men and seen ruffley 5 to 10 boats during tournament time no way in time you see them all heading back in

I sure like the way your tournaments go by length and not weight,the fish are recorded and released where they are caught,here in Michigan on the river I fish there was like 7 tournaments-fish are brought the the weigh in then released there(who knows how many survive ? ) it’s hurt the fishery in a 15 mile stretch sad to say but true
Seems these days with the tourney's catfish get beat on just as much or more than bass fishing, crazy how much catfishing traffic you went through.. tourneys are getting huge these days and overdone on alot of bodies of water.... the other day I seen like 40 boats catfishing on a 1000acre resivoir

I mostly use the trolling motor. I only use a physical anchor when I’m in my pedal kayak.

I use 10/0. I don’t think 5/0 would cause me to miss fish but it would be harder to use those with the size of baits I typically fish with.
