My wife and i own a house in the cebu city suburbs. I have parking in front of my unit, but if i were to use it, i block 3 to 4 neighbors from moving their car. I don't need multiple people banging on my door all day and night asking me to move my car, so we go without. No big deal, as my monthly taxi bill in cebu city malls to go shopping is about $150 a month. Less than half the monthly price of a new car payment, and i save on gas, insurance, maintenance, and the stress of driving in Cebu City. When we move to Bohol, we WILL need a car, but that is 5 years from now, and we will deal with it then.
