I'm a former high school teacher from Texas. I moved with my family to the Philippines in June, 2024, to began a new chapter outside the United States. We currently reside in Cainta, Rizal, just outside the Philippines capitol. We are on a mission to live a life of more freedom outside the typical 9-5 work week, travel more, and provide our daughter with the time, love, and well-rounded experience to the best of our ability!

But, I tip you, if any child asks you currency, DO NOT give them any, the child will only learn that "begging gives you anything.". But it's your choice. If you choose to teach children to live a outlandish misfitted life, I cannot interfere.

How common is wifi there? Obviously not many people here in the states need a lot of data due to wifi, hence why im asking.
I'm realizing it's about 50/50 in the places I visit. So with that being said, my data goes thru the roof if I'm editing videos, etc. This little device I can load it and use whenever/wherever, and the data seems to not run out as fast as my mobile phone data. Thanks for the comment!

5:40 I thought the same thing when I 1st visited BGC, it’s like Miami meets NYC
BGC is very nice, they don’t allow the trikes and jeepneys in, so you do feel a bit disconnected from what you see in Metro Manila, it was a fresh sight to see indeed. We’ll definitely go back there soon.
