Serious question. I must be missing something here: A. Decide to copy (this software only works with the master key, so zero help if you've lost that) your ignition key. B. Buy a programmable blank. ($18 on Amazon.) Take the blank and the master to a hardware store to make a copy. ($0-$4) Cool so far, but here's where I get confused: C. Buy the recommended cable ($35) D. Pay for the 2 day professional software license ($65) E. Don't be an Apple consumer. F. Hope and pray you can program it successfully. Why would I not take the $18 blank to a locksmith ($40-$70) who does this for a living and can do it in 30 minutes? I genuinely want to be able to program my own key, but am unclear how this would save me time or money.
Good point. It may not be worth it in some cases, but makes more sense if you already had the cable/software, or need to program multiple keys on more than one car, or when making copies of the $350 smart keys... Plus you end up with a dealer level diagnostic cable for future programming, customization, TPMS, breaks bleeding, repairs, maintenance, etc.
Thank you for this. Not gonna bother with this route. It’s dumb how expensive the software is for some basic programming, just exists as a middleman so the mechanics can charge you more. Guess I have to give in this time
If he brought it to this locksmith, I would charge you $150 because I have to cover my butt in case something goes wrong way I have to hook up the tech stream Generally, if it’s all keys lost, I charge $220 in a customer gets a remote head key in a transponder key If you only have a slave key, you can always do all keys, lost, and the new key and then add the old slave key back in as I just did it Oh on the 2011 which I’m working on it has a onboard programming method for the remote portion which you can do through a series of opening and closing the doors because even our aftermarket doors on some vehicles, tools won’t do it

I have a 09 Toyota Camry and the security light is flashing which means that it has the alarm but probably not enabled. Will this program and this video help me register the key. Thank you!

Will this work for 2016 Toyota Camry? How to find out if my current key is a valet key or a master key? I bought H keys based on the letter on my current key. Found out that not all hardware stores accept to shape the key that I brought with me

In description.
So bottom line is that I need a $30 cable and $25 software to do this. If the price is still $60 at Toyota of Olympia, I will just take it there (unless that is the per key price).
Not always. Some keys are $300+ each...

Will this work on a 2011 Camry?
Sure
G chip or H chip please tell me about
Get the same as your master key has on the blade.
I have G for Camry and H for Corolla.
how to know my key which is chip G, H, or 4D67 ?
@@kawsaj4818 If G or H, should be a letter stamped on the blade below the key head. 4D67 is the chip name and if you have this chip, the key will simply have a dot or dimple stamped on the blade.
@@geecrawdad Thank you. i found G stamp on the blade key for toyota camry.
