Herne! Many people my age; I am forty nine, will recall Herne fondly. He was a key figure in the mid 1980’s TV series, ‘Robin of Sherwood’. He was a magical guide to our hero. To me all these old antlered deities and legends of the past represent our connection to nature. A connection that most have by now lost. Cover everything in all concrete you can manufacture and invent all the fancy gadgets you want and guess what? You're still a product of the earth and of nature. Modernity with all its tec doesn't change what's real and it doesn't change what is. NATURE is what is....there is no nothing without it...including technology. @@conantarnold you’re absolutely right and nature will always be there, no matter how much concrete you throw on top, no matter how many buildings you build full of technology, nature is always underlying it and will take back what was once it’s. Great video. Probably my favourite so far. Agree with you on the connection to Woden / Odin and the similarities with the Dark Rider / Gwynn App Nudd. I'm not English, I'm actually from the US (North Carolina). I had never heard of Herne the Hunter, but Ioved mythology and was always drawn to the stories about Odin/Woden. Weirdly, I felt I identified with the character, since he was a traveler and a knowledge-seeker, but I resisited looking into it too much because of vestiges of my religious background. About two years ago, I had a dream where a being I perceived as Woden fused with my mind, and I saw myself dancing from outside myself, but it wasn't me. It was a man with antlers growing out of his head. A year later, I saw your video on Cernunnos, and I realized that the two being were connected. I just think it's cool that my subconscious picked up on that before I had even heard of Herne or Cernunnos. I shit you not, I was just just about to post this comment and felt something weird, looked up and there was a deer in my front yard staring right at me (probably a doe, as there were no antlers). Looked at me dead in the eyes for about 30 seconds, then pranced away.

woodland I have ever been in and magic 4sure. If you have a chance in bluebell season, it will blow your mind. Also it’s private so it’s yours, no disturbance just you and the spirits, and there are spirits😂
Is that the Newbridge car park and the old fort is called Holne Chase castle? (It's apparently a ruin now)
If your into the occult worth checking out “The Occult Rejects”. Amazing times, friends from the past are very much being brought back into our lives, now, in what seems prophetic. For me the synchronicities are getting stronger all the time since 2 yrs ago. Love your work and will endeavour to get cash to you. Tough times indeed yet also temperance, love & courage❤
And not one mention of the place most people had heard of Herne from...
Robin of Sherwood.
Indeed indeed the green man of the gloaming 🙏

I'm sure that you know that a year and a day means forever? I would love to spend a summers afternoon with you in a pub garden just listening to your tales.
Yeah, or maybe just ‘an undisclosed and really long, ultimately unmeasurable because time is illusory’ length of time 😂
@TheStoryCrow Yes especially if your car is in a car park.
1% own 70-something % of the land? Wow.
Mind boggling isn’t it. Almost makes you think something must be done
@@TheStoryCrow Couldn't agree more.
There is a great Wild Hunt depiction running through Alan Garner's "Moon of Gomrath", the sequel to "The Weirdstone of Brisingamen".
Very interesting video. Thanks.
Looks interesting, thank you
Excellent video! I wonder if perhaps Herne the Hunter was honored that you’re sharing his story?
Honoured or put out that I’m questioning his historical credentials 😬
I’ve brought my ‘Complete Works…’ to this very forest!… 🤗🤣😂
That phallic symbols are good luck is where this horned hunter thing comes in.
Immediately thought of Skyrim where there’s a hunting god named Hircine
In the British isles there has been found a set of antlers made to fit a head dress from the stone age.
Yes there has! Good link there 🦌✨🙏
🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹
Does anyone else see the troll face, top left of screen, between the two background trees???
synchronicity, maybe 🦌
Not seen for Charles, tracks
is Herne Cernnunos?
I mean… they’re not the same. But the antlered god seems to be ‘standing behind’ herne the hunter. Thats the way I’d put it.
It's my belief the same thing happened with the development of Santa, deviine influence insuring the Truth is passed on
❤
🦉
This will also happen if you go hunting instead of going to church.
🦌🦌🦌🦌
🦌🌳🏹🔪🐺🔮🦌❤
He's definitely an Earth spirit ❤️
🧡💚🤎💙💛
Hope he didn't follow you home.
😬
HERNE and Pan are
the same x I think so anyway
None. He is Orion the constellation 😂😂😂
please do more of that, 'how much horse shit is this?'.
😂 Alright then
