Pacaya Volcano Hike 🌋

Our last day in gorgeous Antigua, Guatemala, and feeling the need to experience some of the natural wonders on offer we decided to take a hike up Pacaya Volcano.
Would we see lava? Would we be able to toast marshmallows? Would we survive? Watch and see!

Pacaya is a beautiful hike, you just went on a bad day to really appreciate it. The landscape is always changing, and is impressive to see when is erupting. The views are pretty good on a clear day too.

You know nothing about what you speak of. You know nothing of horses, obviously, yet you say it is cruel to ride them. You also say the hike is wasted time. You went on a day with poor visibility. When the skies are clear, the views on that hike are truly breathtaking. I can show you my photos as proof! And if you travel to a Spanish speaking country, don't whine about the guides not speaking English - learn some Spanish or get yourself a translation app.
Or better yet, just stay home and watch your TV.
