- Whats good guys, we back with another build video! So ik its kind of sketch, but i wanted to see how this amazon muffler would sound before deciding to buy a tomei. Not going to lie, it sounds pretty decent for the price point. Ill do an update video after the muffler has broken in, but for now, enjoy the video 🙂

Sounded WAY better with the resonator on. I'm not into the crackel snapple popple. I like a clean sounding exhaust from bottom to top.
Not too big of a dif w/o the res but it sounds crazy good. I appreciate the deep tone

@@dirtymilk8265 it sounds really good but it’s a bit drony it may get annoying sometimes but I love it, I had to get it welded and it got it out in an angle .

@@itsjax2917 they do, they have a nice deep tone but I recommend putting on test pipes. I have a y pipe and test pipes and it sounds really good

Id say maybe 8-12
To be honest thats what they will say , but I doubt it.. if any case maybe you add 1-2 hp its just a muffler btw i also have it on my car

@@mysticblue3387 yeah if you actually want the 10 extra hp then you should get some headers with a high flow cat, but then again idk if $400 dollars are worth the 10-15 hp

@@enthalpy.m no hate bro but don't you hear the rasp of the exhaust so cutting the resnators and having no muffler is very raspy and sounds like a fart can but that's just my opion a lot peope would think the same

What set up u got I got red test pipes and res y pipe 3” and straight pipe all way back dual but sounds loud and raspy thinking 2 of these mufflers will sound better with em lmk 😅
I just got one put on my 2000 infiniti i30 and took off the resonator. Sounds great but I think adding another one as a dual will sound soo much better probably

Try test pipes before you do y pipe it’ll let the G Breathe way better n sound way better

The exhaust was straight 3” with megan y pipe and manzo test pipes. The muffler ininstalled was 3” evil energy

Honestly, sonata id probably find an axleback exhaust to fit cuz its gonna look cleaner. I did this more for performance so i could have a cheap 3 inch exhaust that could still produce some sort of gains. Im not sure if the motor would benefit too much from a 3 inch pipe

No it looks big asf but maybe it’s because I have small hands but it worth it.. I got it installed on my Corolla and it sounds good but the drone is kinda annoying but not as much for me

If u have stock mid pipe, go 2” if its upgraded go 2.5”

So I have a resonator delete on my car and plan to get an aftermarket muffler with my stock exhaust is that fine to do?
You would have to use a 2.5" inlet, it would be better to go get a 3 inch straight pipe and then get the 3 inch inlet with the 4 inch outlet. I feel like if u used the stock exhaust pipe it wont sound that great
I had these and 3 months in the broke inside where it would buzz i have videos as soon as i took these off buzz 100% gone
Luckily mine hasn't messed up... Lets hope that stays being the case lol

Yea ofc, the titanium gives it the sound. The y pipe and test pipes being tomei are really for weight savings, but they will add to the aggressive rasp

if you get the same brand, do a 2.5 inlet and 3 inch exit, that way you can do 2.5 inch catback exhaust if you were to go "custom"

You won't get tickets if your smart. I have a Genesis 3.8 and it's like 2x louder then this with a pop tune. All you gotta do is know your car. Watch your RPMs. normally shift 1700-2100 aka Granny shift if you wanna be quite as possible
