The acquisition of military style-weapons by local law enforcement agencies in the U.S. has been accelerating, driven by federal programs which grant access to surplus military items for combating terrorism and drug activity. He cites his research examining the impacts of increased police militarization-including more frequent use of lethal force, and the disproportionate effects on ethnically-fragmented communities.

The former police officers who murdered Daniel Schaver are a disgrace to my profession. The one who shouted at and denigrated the targeted victim; Daniel Schaver was a Police Sergeant who afterwards fled the USA to live in the Philippines.
The Criminal On Patrol who actually pulled the trigger and murdered Daniel Schafer, applied for a
"Disability Pension" and received it! These Criminals On Patrol must be brought to proper justice. As to the murders they are!
American Civilian Police have basically become Standing Armies.
All of which contradicts the "Pealan Principles" of Policing" . Which is the "Standard"& that American Civil Police are supposed to be based upon.
Another overlooked aspect where the speaker in this video seems to be at odds with is that the Fundamental 2nd Amendment Rights protect those Firearms

Thats the problem in their mind, if civilians have the same sized weapons as them, they have a chance at balance. So they need to go bigger to push anything the government says ... even if it's corrupt.

You know why they are aggressive is because the adrenaline is running at a high temperature or speed in a hotel room it is easy to be shoot look at some body cams one officer once responded with other officers to a motel the of then got shot from inside the room and officers in the other room had to jump out of a window two officers where struck one was hit in the leg and the other the chest now the one who got shot in the chest had only level 3 I’m pretty sure which only supposed to withstand 44mm and 9mm which is pistol ammo the man was using an at15 now if the officers had ar15s also one of them would be here today he had a family you know and look at one bank robbery at a Bank of America the men used ak47 and other guns that used bullets that could trough there cars officers had to go to a pawn shop a open shop! Really they where selling a military grade gun at a pawn shop! And they had to use a bank truck to help fallen officers so that’s why. Oh and show us the bodycam footage
