Always learning from you! My legend on my soil with auto gb on just hums and pops all the time. I'll be just doing it manually meow and rechecked when it starts going nuts again thanks for all you do!
I run my xp deus at 60 GB and I get deeper targets, just set my sensitivity a bit lower, reactivity 0-2 (to lower chirping of the ground), audio response 0-1 (so deeper targets sound higher than ground chirping) and I use my own headphones. Test it and you will be happy of the results. Also if you set GB
Streak, we don’t have bad ground and I found out first times out, if I tried to ground grab, I had stability issues. When I stopped ground balancing it, it set itself, and was always adjusted like 87/87. If I try to ground grab, the numbers would not be the same and stability issues started. I just sent my coil in because it’s been erratic from day one, especially in EMI of any kind
If I remember right most of the programs have a GMI at 87 stock preset. I thought I had a bad coil for a while too. Deus 2 is very finnicky. I have been hunting with ground stability at 1 for a while and has increased depth but runs hot on mineralized ground.
nice explanation ,i picked the legend over the d2 as its a simpler mf machine ,i like both machines but think the legend in its format performs very well, the raw power of d2 is something else but alot of faff to get there but it really is impressive ,im new to mf so i hadn't thought of gb various frequencies at same time bit ,complex machines but can be used simply to perform for the beach they have been a revelation to me great videos thanks
Thank you Jeremy! Was a very good video! Very helpful! I have experienced that the Deep HC on D2 is more stabile on mineralized ground, and on all ground conditions, then for ex.: sensitive. Is it cause of the lower frequency bundle? Am I right? Thanks for the help! (If so, in swampy place I will use deep hc for celtic targets)
Should I ground balance the legend in single frequency? When I used the simplex I ground balanced multiple times a hunt, but with the legend ive never ground balanced once, I'm not even sure how to ground balance on the legend lol
I've had my legend like 7 months now and I haven't ground balanced at all. I'm just now trying to learn more about it due to a iron infested site I have. I still have lots to learn. I started detecting back in September. I've found quite a bit of relics and silver coins and a couple gold ring dirt finds with the legend. I started with the Xterra pro but I found my Xterra was hitting coins better that had trash or iron in the same hole at times when my legend wasn't hitting it.
Jeremy, you are a wealth of knowledge! I've never seen anyone explain ground balance like you can..👍👍
I appreciate that!
I always thought by ground balancing you would get slightly better depth from your machine, very well explained video.
Learn something new everyday when I come to your channel. Thanks 👍
Awesome, thank you!
Awesome, never knew it worked that way with positive and negative ground balance. Thanks again and keep the knowledge coming!
On e again the wizard spreads his knowledge, thanks man!

I turn on the auto balance feature on the Legend and it is awesome!
Very good explanation of GBs, thanks!
My pleasure!
Great explanation !!!
Thank you!
And now we know, great tip Jeremy. Thanks again!
Happy to help!

Interesting 👍🏻
My bad my phone sound was not turned up lol
Positive GB 'PUSHES' sound 'into ground. Negative GB 'PULLS' sound 'out' of the ground. A tad negative GB is V useful hunting above stubbles.

Jim never ground balances the Legend and I have ground balanced the Legend maybe 50 rimes since I had it. The Legend likes our hot soil here.

@@knowbuddy0 I've never used the Xterra but the legend is great been using it for almost a year now, except my speaker blew
on xp deus 1 is it better to pump or to set GB manually?
Manually is much better. Pumping takes too long
Pense tu que le legend et aussi mieux que le deus 2
They both hit the same targets. The D2 is much more ergonomic and comfortable to swing.
There's no sound on your video buddy
