That was by far the fastest, easiest and non-boring tutorial I’ve watched. Thanks for the tips!
Thank you, Chauntil 🤗
Thank you for the quick and informative video. Short, sweet and to the point! Again, thank you!
Love this tutorial and your voice! The way you present it is perfect and to the point. Absolutely great video
Thank you so much! 🤗
Awesome!!!
Omg! I love this method, so much easier and less mess. I won’t have a mountain of glitter to clean up next time!
Gorgeous. TFS 💕
Thank you ❤️
Your peacock tumbler tutorial inspired me to make one of my own. I don’t have chunky glitters on it but it turned out GORGEOUS! Thank you!
That is so awesome!
Thanks for the tutorial! Worked like a charm. I wanted to ask what your next step is when using the epoxy method? Do you sand like you would if you used mod podge, then place and decals and additional epoxy? The coating using this method is rough like the glitter, so I was just curious. Thanks so much!
This was a great tutorial and beautiful tumbler! What is that tool you used to hold the tumbler? It definitely looks like a game changer!
Beautiful! Great tutorial! Can you please tell the name of the rose gold glitter you showed at the end and the gold mix in the first pic in the video with the monogram cup? Thanks
I have a question. the liquid they apply at the end that gives it that beautiful shine is mod podge? not toxic? what brand do you use
Okay seriously WHO TF dislikes any of Sandy’s videos? 🤔 Lol just saw this and it irked me 🤣
🤷♀️ But I’m so happy I have awesome subscribers like you 🤗
Love the method. Could you do a tutorial on how you made your tumbler arm?
I was just talking to my husband this morning about that! We will get something put together
I would love to know how you did the arm too. That looks like it would help a tremendous amount.
What are you using to keep the resin from going inside the tumbler? I see something black but I don’t always see that in your videos. Thanks for all the time you put in to show us how to do it 🤓
It’s just the plunger wands I use to turn my tumblers. They aren’t meant to keep the epoxy out. You’re very welcome! If you’d like to know more about my wand you can watch: ua-cam.com/video/Awy0MOMM2RU/v-deo.html
Thank you for teaching all that you do! What epoxy do you use?
I use Alumilites Amazing Clear Cast
@@SandysOrganizedChaos thank you! Thats what I have been using as well but some people say it's a beginner epoxy like its a bad thing lolb
what are some good places to get tumblers?
You explain the process so well! I wanted to ask you, if my tumbler already comes painted the color I will use as the base color, should I still prep the tumbler, or can I go ahead and start the epoxy glitter right on it? TIA!
It’s personal preference. I just epoxy over it, but some like to prep them. I’ve sold thousands of custom tumblers and have never had an issue.
Thank you!
I tried this method for the first time and I had a lot of the chunky glitter not lay flat. Some of the ultra fine glitter also ended up with bubbles. I wonder if I didn't add enough epoxy?
Hi Sandy. Your videos are awesome! I was wondering if you buy your Hogg tumbler in white? What do you do to prep it? Or do you just epoxy over the white? Thanks for answering my question.
I will wipe them down with rubbing alcohol to remove any factory oils and use the pre-white ones as is.
@@SandysOrganizedChaos Thanks for reponding so quickly! Also, how did you do the name in glitter?
@@babymamabda09 that is a teal holographic vinyl made by Cricut
How do you get the tumbler smooth?? When I do chunky glitter and then a layer of epoxy and sanding it’s STILL rough and bumpy, whyyy😔
Hey Sandy. We are in Florida too. Which Alumilite epoxy do you use with the humid summer? And what’s the set up time. Please and thank you
I use Alumilites Amazing Clear Cast. I haven’t had any issues with the humidity, as far as tumblers go at least lol. It takes about three hours before I stand them up to continue curing over night before I add personalization, the the final coats
Ahhhh perfect. Thank you
can you help? My chunky was standing up all over the bottom of the cup, what did I do wrong? Not enough epoxy? Thanks for any advise
How long did you let the glitter dry before the second coat of epoxy? And did you seal the glitter first before applying the second layer of epoxy?
I let it dry for three hours. I do use a spray sealer, then add the second coat of epoxy.
Sandy’s Organized Chaos That is so helpful! Thank you! As a beginner the timing is what I’m having trouble with. Most tutorials say “until it’s dry” but that’s different for everything! 😁
Do you seal the glitter after the epoxy dries?
Yes, I spray it with a clear sealer and apply no less than two finishing coats of epoxy.
how long do you let the glitter set before you put on the top coat of epoxy ?
About three hours
How long do you let your epoxy sit before you put it on the blank tumbler and also when you apply your epoxy after its glitterd
Because I’m applying the glitter to a thin layer of epoxy I don’t let the epoxy sit. When I apply the second coat over the glitter I let it sit for about 5 minutes. If I’m only doing one tumbler.
Sandy’s Organized Chaos Thank you!
😍😍😍😍so Amazing I want that 🥰🥰 how can i buy it?
I’m not selling anymore. Only teaching. Sorry 💖💖
@@SandysOrganizedChaos 🥺🥺
What would you charge for something like this?
✍🏼✍🏼✍🏼❤️😱
What font did you use for the names?
I believe I use Tomatoes from Dafont: www.dafont.com/es/tomatoes.font
Did you seal after this?
I do a spray clear coat over the glitter. Then I seal it up with epoxy.
What color is the glitter and where did you get it from?
The teal here is Belle Chasse from Mr Nola’s Glitter
Do you wear PPE’s using Epoxy?
I do yes. I also turn my tumblers out in my garage so I can have ample airflow as well. If you are wondering about PPE for yourself I highly recommend watching this video by Alumilite ua-cam.com/video/mr1E9v_9fww/v-deo.html
How much do you charge for your 20 oz cups? I'm so lost on how much to charge for mine...help please..lol
It really depends on what your making. For a simple ombré I would charge $45 and for something like a peekaboo I would charge $50/55 you need to factor in your time, and materials.
Awe man, I could only see half the tumbler...
Right?! This was one of my firsts videos and I didn’t have a stand for my camera. Sorry for the bad angles. They are better now though 🤗💜
