You could go to a store, or get in contact w/ someone who really knows the products, and have them smell the perfume. They should be able to tell you what fragrance it is if they know their stuff. Good luck!

If anyone is curious about the beauty world of Marie Antoinette, an amazing book I've read is A Scented Palace by Elisabeth de Feydeau, which focuses on the life of perfumer Jean- Louis Fargeon, who eventually became the exclusive perfumer to Marie Antoinette, but he also created various bespoke beauty products for her as well, so it makes for an interesting read.

I can't believe I just found your channel last night. I loved your videos on my favorite icons beauty products, audrey hepburn, marilyn monroe, Brigitte bardot, grace kelly, etc. I love them all and I'm obsessed with all things vintage and all things beauty. I also love how your channel gives me autumn vibes. Have you tried besame cosmetics? They find old lipsticks and recreate the exact color in old fashioned style bullet tubes. They also make vintage style cake mascara. They even recreated marilyn monroes lipstick by looking at one she owned. If you go in their site they tell you which year the lipstick color was made from.

I love the story. I read one book about her and Axel ferson. I randomly found it in a yard sale and I loved it. That is the kind of writing I want to put out there! Some scenes were hard and I nearly wept. Beautiful book.

@@lhzook I can't recall. So many years have passed but I still remember those scenes. They dripped with passion. Like when Axel and the Queen had thier last moments together. Everyone left the room and it was just the two of them... My mind wandered to how they felt. This really happened.

I’m really glad this came up in my suggested videos. I love Marie Antoinette very much, so it would be amazing to get these things she would’ve had in the past as modern reincarnations. Once I have the money, I’ll definitely look into buying these products (have them bookmarked already!). Great video 💜

no. 5 but it definitely has a scent from an older era. I love it though but it does make me feel kinda old when I wear it. I am 62 but I don't want to smell old.

4.00 : people would actually pee and poop behind curtains because of lack of bathrooms in the palace, so her room probably smelled just the same (that’s why she kept a bottle of perfume around her neck, most people at the court, men and women, did the same in order to not smell the stench)
