Omg! My ebike is currently in the shop getting new/tubeless tires put on (you'd think a 4 thousand dollar Trek would come with tires that didn't go flat after a simple ride around the block 😑) and this video made me miss it so much more!! Not too long ago was I riding around the exact neighborhood/areas that you two are riding around in this video! I can't wait to have my baby Stacy back!
The Trail 90's of this decade. I will eventually join the e-cargo bike tribe. The jolt in acceleration is a firmware fix on the motor controller. Good open minded comparison. Thank you.

Hallelujah I think it's so beautiful and awesome when couples kick it together.. in Harmony! I love seeing people out here couples riding their bikes e-bikes on the specific trail goes from Rialto to Claremont California so amazing it brings a smile to my face.

Just so you know you can actually alter the pedal assist from 1-5 to 1-7 or 1-9. It helps with that initial boost from the motor.
Interesting didn’t know that. Is there a guide somewhere on how to reprogram?

You can also adjust the rear shocks if to stiff,just turn the shock housing at the bottom of the shock,there are different notches you can set to.

How's the weight? I used to have an enclosed cargo bike (PEBL) for Minnesota winters but I had to store in the garage where it was stolen. If I got something like that I'd have to do what I do with my current bike which is store it inside the house. I also wonder what the minimum temperature is - not something you'd have to deal with. :) But the PEBL I couldn't take it out below zero.
what is the suggested rider's height for the Himiway? and height of the seat from ground?
Nice Video! Just subscribed. 38 mph on the ESCAPE? Do you mean 28? Mine goes 26 or so, I’ve tried unlocking settings but think they changed something but am still happy with the speed.... Did you open the settings or something?
Thanks for subscribing Jennifer! I was bombing down a hill and pedaling at the same time. I couldn't believe I got it going that fast! Was a little scary but the bike still felt very stable. When I'm on the flat ground I usually average 22mph
@@radbikeadventure btw! I adjusted my tire size to 23 instead of the 26 it was at and the 20 I moved it to. Also the other adjustments I’ve found and got it up to 28.4mph on a straight away, after it was stuck at 24.9. Helps for the times I’m next to or in faster traffic which isn’t often. LOVE!
Odd throttle on the Himiway. You did not mention. Other than that looks great. Price has gone way up since they did this review in 2021.

I thought that might happen too but it’s just so different it can’t compete with a regular bike! Still favor our touring bicis for the long hauls 😃

How many hrs do you get out of your bike? I get maybe 2hrs if riding straight. Just wondered?
Hi Jenn, i think 2-3 hours is about right, depending on if we hit the hills and how much we're pedaling. I'll have to take it out for an all day ride and see how far I can get then have darin pick me up lol

Hi Fran! It did ok. Definitely bit of a struggle since it's heavy but with the more powerful motor, it did make it through. Probably not good for any bike to be riding through soft sand tho tbh 😬
