@@Teri_Berk she was a good game player in general, and Goodson and Todman both absolutely loved her…she was willing to try almost anything they threw at her. All those years in theater and radio served her very well, she was always on her toes.
I think I will take a lot of flack for this; but I still think it is true. People used to be, in general, just better looking 50 or 60 years ago. I think it had to do with not eating as much fast food or processed foods, getting more exercise and sufficient rest. And I think people weren't as stressed then, even if there were stressful events during those times. And I think people then dressed in just a more eye appealing fashion, even though some of the clothes from the mid 60s were kind of wild looking, especially with bright colors. But women stayed young looking longer and it was common for men to be handsome. And I think people had clearer skin and thicker hair too in general, which I think was a result of their diet and exercise. The only thing that was really ugly in the 1960s were those horn rim glasses and maybe some of the women's bouffant hairdos. But even when sloppier dress and longer hair became popular with the hippies, even then, if you look closely at the hippies, they still look pretty good. And I think this is across the board for all races and ages. It becomes pretty obvious if you watch a lot of these old game shows. Very, very few people were unattractive.
I have replayed it, but I cannot understand the first clue word the male guest gave to Arlene Francis for the password "Tomato". Does anyone know what he said? 🤔
They had so much more fun back in the good ole days.
Arlene and Skitch are so much fun to watch. And Arlene, still as delightful as when she was on What's My Line.
Arlene Francis is pure joy! 🤗
she's affable and adorable.
Arlene is just PRECIOUS. ❤️
She's adapted herself to this game quite well considering that she played at What's My Line for 17 years. She's smiling, looking lovely and smart.

Skitch was a legendary conductor/ composer. Worked with big names like Bing Crosby.
Henderson was the bandleader on "The Tonight Show" during the Steve Allen years and the early Johnny Carson years.
Such a nice guy.
I love that back then everyone had their natural teeth.
usually stored on top of their dresser drawer or in a jar on the shelf, but they still had them.
Arlene Francis....the classiest class act in the history of class. Just the way she says "Ah-lington" (rather than Ar-lington) tells you everything.
Wonderful People and Time 😢🙏🏼❤️
Arlene's always on her game
Let's hear more about R.C.!!! Such a handsome man!
Smart fellow, too. Sharon was good as well.

Stomach ache accepted as one word?! I looked it up, shown as two words still, which is the way I've always seen it. 🤨
