Laws are not equal in india...False cases of dowry and domestic violence, one-sided divorce process and husband being treated like an ATM machine are all the main reasons.
1) As per Indian Law, a woman who commits adultery can only be denied spousal support in a divorce if she is "living in adultery". This means that Indian women are legally permitted to have affairs, as long as they are not in a live-in-affair, and they can still claim maintenance from their ex-husbands. 2) Women have priority custody rights, and the right to limit visitation of children by the father to 1 day a month (not overnight). If father does not pay the wife's lum sum alimony amount, a father has no right to see his children until he pays off the complete alimony. 3) If the wife earns significantly more, the husband is still required to pay her maintenance after the divorce. All legal fees of the wife are borne solely by the husband even if she makes more than him. Women in divorces have no financial obligations, and men are only granted maintenance if they are disabled. 4) The burden of evidence over false allegations against men are borne solely by men, and women need to provide no evidence over any police reports.
Domestic violence law and maintainenance law came into force in 2006. This is on top of already existing draconian dowry law, which exists in no other country. My 80 year old mother used those new laws to drag 85 yr old father to court- instigated by lawyers to do so; 5 years ago. My father was removed from his house spent rest of life in care home while my mother and sisters enjoyed his home, money and properties. He died in that suffering a year ago in care home; none of them went to see him. Now you tell me who would like to marry to go to court in old age, just because whom he trusted all his life wanted to inflict sufferings, just for money and property. This can happen to anyone at any age, nowadays.

The reluctance to get married is a result of western influence on the youth in India. There are, however, still Indian men who want to get married. I know of numerous cases in the West (where I live) where women come to the west, get married, divorce, take everything and call their boyfriend over from India. The laws always favour women so unless you desperately want children, the juice is not worth the squeeze.

At one hand due to pressure from women right movement worldwide In India legal rules are biased against male in case of divorce ,maintenance & inheritance & marital violence & infidelity .Two different phenomenon happening one is leftover women & other is yellow fever in Urban society. Women empowerment based on western values of competitive equality made women non-femine & male are not relieved from their traditional duty of earning livelihood but additional expectation are burdened on them in family by demanding partners.Well education in Indian context has contributed to women’s not willing to take daily chores or child care so it need to be done by paid workers. It is trend that even women from lower economic & educational backgrounds not willing to marry non salaried persons like farmers more or less from similar social classes. Adultery is no longer a criminal offense (as per the Supreme Court ruling in 2018) so now marriage means you should be ready to bring up children’s of your wife’s sexual partners, option of DNA test is not simple as you need to prove in court that is essential & on other hand divorce will put you & your children on psychological roller coasters & financial burden.Court & subsequent government destroyed time tested institutions like marriage & family just for validation from western intellectuals who in turn governed by commercial interests.
Yes, marriage is not that easy in India. This is true both for woman and man. In India many Indians are reluctant to marry because of economic status and prevailing social conditions prevailing in last few years. In India continues their marriage because pressure from the society.
marriage is like surving society if u are not rich atleast one can do it for 3 people mutual, wife is taking care of husband, husband nurushing wife , both bringing up children. so that they life purpose is surved also they enjoyed, youth should thing that marriage is like a social service, if one does social service god helps immensily , the last sentense youth should remember i think
There are some causes for indian man not interested in marriage nowadays. 1. It takes long time to become financially stable until no girl will marry you. 2.people get set backs and cheated in relationship now they fear from women. 3. Lack of understanding nowadays between them. 4.rise of egoistic mindset. In this mostly about tier 1 cities, tier 2 or 3 still doing marriages and living their life to the fullest. I consider marrying late but with only with right person. As always very good video❤❤❤
This is more a consequence of the social liberalism in capitalism than Western culture per se. No matter how much hatred you see everywhere today, capitalism is fundamentally liberal socially. In order for there to be the sort of individual competition there MUST be in capitalism, you cannot have old fashioned values like marital fidelity and family values. People must be free to beat the next person at the game, whether it be a woman divorcing and walking away with her husbands riches or me as a business man out competing and destroying my competitors. Countries like India and the US will lead in this as their laws are capitalist. Muslim countries or even China for example will be slower as their laws have not yet caught up but they will.
Its the truth I have multiple friends who are not getting married. They have reached 30. But mostly its a case with Hindu community mostly as far as i have seen.
Marriage provides security only if two families are involved otherwise this is nothing more than a contract . Family pride and values protect marriage but this modern woke culture is destroying the fabric . Family system fules community . If all members of family are jobbers and living in different cities then there is no hope for such families.
Doesn't matter men if u educate women and they know their rights no society pressure will come in their way to get divorce in arranged marriage also my parents r still together they had a toxic arrange marriage now they don't divorce because they depend on each other for survival now it has nothing to do with families as family ties r already broken in our family most of my friend circle has arranged and not all of them r happy and many r also divorced so it's not like there will be no divorce in arranged marriage if u think like that then you are in for a huge surprise
In my opinion marriage and having 2 kids should be a responsibility . This thing is more is the west that thing to be self-centric but in the traditional indian culture everything is more concentrated on society than individualism . 2.1 is the replacement birth rate which should be for a progressive society. If it get less than that than population decline start and when the older people are more than youger than that put so much pressure on the younger generation which we currently seeing south korea , japan and italy ( population crisis ) . As india's current birth rate goes below 2.1 and decreasing significantly in future , After 20-30 year india will seeing its worst population crisis of the history because of this westernization and self centric mindset with 1.6 billion population
Also unemployment rate in India is too high. In India men has to take most of the financial responsibility even if the woman is financially independent. So boys also dnt get partner for marriage.
@@zuzanareacts I am 35 unmarried male, Marriage is not bad, its beautiful for some people who have the means, Indian economy was never good for citizens to have a good life, on top of it we have caste divide and feudalism, its the direct effect of capitalism, society became materialistic, and pushing people towards unnecessary expectations. Eventually India will end up where the west is today high divorce rate, Young people not wanting to marry, Child birth rate (TFR) dropping to levels what South korea is now, The average age of population increasing, Less young people to support the economy, As young people are less maybe people from other countries mat end up in India demography changes will start.......and the list goes on and on.

No relationship can survive without the required financial stability. But keeping that aside marriage is similar to finding a like-minded individual travelling to the same destination sitting next to us. The difference is that instead of sharing a seat we've to share our lives with that person. And that takes a lot of physical and mental preparation. Marriage isn't for those who are too much attached to their own ways to make necessary changes to adjust with another person. But then again none of us can live like an island and perhaps having someone we can love and cherish beside us to witness our journey through life is better than relying on total strangers for support and companionship. 🥂

It's a worldwide trend. Pretty common in Europe ? Maybe suzanna can enlighten us on that.

My brothers are all over 30, but they haven't married yet because they are waiting for their sister's marriage first. That is the big reason why hindu men don't get married immediately 😭
Only applied to tier1 cities people, rural India and semi urban India marrying happily.

With 12% less women in India. It could be a case of sour grapes.
How informative your video is. Your reactions are pretty admiring ❤️
Adultery is no longer a criminal offense (as per the Supreme Court ruling in 2018) so now marriage means you should be ready to bring up children’s of your wife’s sexual partners, option of DNA test is not simple as you need to prove in court that is essential & on other hand divorce will put you & your children on psychological roller coasters & financial burden.Court & subsequent government destroyed time tested institutions like marriage & family just for validation from western intellectuals who in turn governed by commercial interests.
i move to another country because society will not force me to get married here
Yes, marriage is not that easy in India. This is true both for woman and man. In India many Indians are reluctant to marry because of economic status and prevailing social conditions prevailing in last few years. In India continues their marriage because pressure from the society.
it's crazy what I'm learning over the comments !
marriage is like surving society if u are not rich atleast one can do it for 3 people mutual, wife is taking care of husband, husband nurushing wife , both bringing up children. so that they life purpose is surved also they enjoyed, youth should thing that marriage is like a social service, if one does social service god helps immensily , the last sentense youth should remember i think

A perfect match is a myth. We can't try everything n everyone to match a perfect one.
No everyone wants to get married its just they want to be more SURE to find a partner who can share life with you for a life time!
I think it is perfectly fine if someone does not want to get married
@@zuzanareactsMost of our indian society does not think like you.

Zuzana, I am an Indian but I don't think so ofcourse each has own logic but overall there's no sense.
Its the truth I have multiple friends who are not getting married. They have reached 30. But mostly its a case with Hindu community mostly as far as i have seen.
I am 35 years old and I am still unmarried 🙏🙏🙏 Looking for a company 😊😊
I am 47 still married only once. Looking forward.
😂😂😂
40 and unmarried !

Indians want a modern gf but a traditional wife 😂
Also unemployment rate in India is too high. In India men has to take most of the financial responsibility even if the woman is financially independent. So boys also dnt get partner for marriage.

@@zuzanareacts I am 35 unmarried male, Marriage is not bad, its beautiful for some people who have the means, Indian economy was never good for citizens to have a good life, on top of it we have caste divide and feudalism, its the direct effect of capitalism, society became materialistic, and pushing people towards unnecessary expectations. Most people in India who are rich enough have married.
It feels the way it operates over there is simply universes apart from what I know
Indian matrimonial laws are too biased and skewed to women. Hardly any provision left for men. It shud have been a gender neutral law.
Who said we don't want to get married????
Eventually India will end up where the west is today high divorce rate, Young people not wanting to marry, Child birth rate (TFR) dropping to levels what South korea is now, The average age of population increasing, Less young people to support the economy, As young people are less maybe people from other countries mat end up in India demography changes will start.......and the list goes on and on.
I don't want to marry anyone. I would like to leading the single life. Man like me should avoid the marrying anyone whether foreign girls or indian girls. Marriage is big burden imposed on the man. My age is 35 old year. So i am very happy without marrying any girl

Gender biased laws in India
No relationship can survive without the required financial stability. But keeping that aside marriage is similar to finding a like-minded individual travelling to the same destination sitting next to us. The difference is that instead of sharing a seat we've to share our lives with that person. And that takes a lot of physical and mental preparation. Marriage isn't for those who are too much attached to their own ways to make necessary changes to adjust with another person. But then again none of us can live like an island and perhaps having someone we can love and cherish beside us to witness our journey through life is better than relying on total strangers for support and companionship. 🥂
Yup not interested..too much inequality
what you saw in the video is half truth, those who care about country and the civilization will get married and have atleast two kids but yes then they have to except a life with less facilities and we have this type of people, relax we survived all changes till now and we will manage ahead. 😃
