This was killer. One of the best modern bands to exist in the last 20 years. Theres so much to them too. Great influences, huge sound, great writing. Cant wait for the next release. Even if it totally blows (which it wont) it’ll still be better than most of the past few years. Haha total ripper.
@@mendicantmedia Last year we played with Phil and Sam in Worm/Hulder. Sam is a buddy, gave me a little insight as to it coming before the talk started and I haven’t been so excited in years gahaha. I yelled at him “ABOUT GOD DAMN TIME, BOYS!”. I think with those two involved its hard for it not to be dead on.
This video rules as does the cemetery location and b-roll footage. I lost track with the band after the full length. Shame to hear nobody besides the vocalist is left, hard to believe they can keep that crushing sound from 2000
Thanks man and I swear I didn't insert the spooky crow sounds in the background. They were hovering hoping I'd trip over and brain myself on a grave. Also with newer members from Chthe'ilist, Ascended Dead and Bone Sickness I'm sure they'll keep it heavy as balls
Nice review. That little green e.p. looked really nice. I don't have anywhere as much knowledge as you mate, you just leave me on the dark during these reviews. I should mention that I was the guy that asked you on fb about the Braindead extract used on the Blood Duster track "Vulgar taste of rotten c**t". I had to close my fb accounts down because I'd used fictitious pseudonyms when I originally set up the accounts. Nice location. I've been looking at some interesting Irish cemeteries on Serenity Sue's yt page. Thanks Geoff, nice tribute. I'll check some Funebrarum out.👍
Cheers mate they are premier death metal and I doubt you'll be dissatisfied. I should have filmed more closeup stuff in the cemetery but my camera was being irritating and it was cold! Thankfully no one accused me of being a nacrophiliac ;)
yeah it's a nice part of the world - I hope to get over to Ireland (and the UK) in the next couple of years which I'm sure has much older cemetaries than the 1820s!

Thanks heaps it was a pleasure to make as I've loved them for ages. I reckon the new one will be a complete ripper

hell yeah the current lineup is stacked with talent
Bands like Funebrarum, Dead Congregation, Burial Invocation and Decrepit Birth need a new album as soon as possible!!!!
Damn straight! I'm well keen for more Dead Congregation although I'm currently blasting Fossilization which gives me a bit of a DC fix

This band is real harrowing dark death metal. Able to take the incantation style even further. Pillard and Disma are megabrutal too
it's just the perfect blend of Scaninavian and US deathmetal for me - I hope there will be more Disma soon as that recent EP wasn't long enough
Killer band. Really hope there will be a new album this year, had given up on getting new stuff from that crew. Excellent video. Cheers. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Cheers mate. From the look of their Facebook it was recorded a while ago so my hopes are up that it will come out soon
Like and share the video everyone
Great band, thanks for the vid, it made me dig out Dormant Hallucinations 🤘
nice one - you can't go wrong with any of their releases

All good mate ~ I'm sure they're not like that in NSW, stay classy👍
Did you have girly grots on under your strides while filming this one?
don't worry mate I kick arse for the Lord
@@mendicantmedia As long as you weren't pissing on my mother.
Scenary reminds me of Ireland
