Fantastic band
Darn tootin’
OH-oh-Oh-oh-OH-oh-EHHHHH OH-oh-Oh-oh-OH-oh-EHHHHH
Nice, not very often someone reveiwing P.T.M..Thanx!
I'm glad someone from the band saw this as I truly love PTM. Thanks for your wonderful input into an amazing band
No problems, glad you enjoyed our crazyness.
Awesome overview of Pan.Thy.Monium, I feel like they are a secret band no one talks about. I somehow missed Karaboudjan, I'll be looking out for that. Really enjoyed this, cheers Jeff!
yeah I always felt they were a bit underappreciated although I do realise it might not be to everones taste
Nice overview mate, got everything except Khaoos and Konfusion as I thought it was Khaoos with bonus tracks or something lol. Love that Karaboudjan EP, got it on release!
Thanks man. Yeah K&K is definitely worth checking out
Like and share the video people
thanks
Weird is a understatement with this band, haha. Khaooooswas the only one I bought back in the days, but have picked up most of the reissued stuff as well. I really can't stand saxophone in my metal, but a lot of cool stuff on the albums. Cool video mate. Cheers.
thanks mate - luckily for you there isn't very much sax in metal
Dan Swano is a deadset genius.
yep a very talented bloke - I really need to check out his more mellow stuff
Great recap of my favorite band!!!
I wondered how long it would be until you noticed this 😁 I’d be curious of your rankings of the releases. I guess mine would be Khaooohs, Dawn of Dreams, K&K, Dream II and then demo
@@mendicantmedia K&k, Dream 2 (with 4), Khaooos, Dawn of Dreams, Sbrodj, demo. But I really do love them all. No other band comes close to their sound and vibe. Opthalamia is kinda adjacent in a way but stuff like Maudlin of the Well is just approached differently. I have tried to do a tribute sort of project but it sucked so I scrapped it. Even though this was probably led by Dan’s spontaneous vision the others had to contribute. I did a EP called Germfask as a lockdown project that referenced PTM a lot but it’s nowhere near as good and unfortunately the sax guy I asked never worked out.
Well done. I enjoy your take on this stuff. Always good to see you sir…
Cheers mate. It’s easy to talk about such killer tunes
I've been getting classic Pan Thy moments stuck in my head since watching this a day ago and I'm a better person because of it :) You mentioned the song "Lava", the main riff then that damn guitar/keys/sax call and response....it rules...and so do many others
mate it was so hard just picking bits to mention as it's always moving and changing - it certainly wasn't a pain to have to listen to it all to pick 8 seconds off each release
Duh-nuh-nuh nun-nuh-nuh, duh-nuh-nuh nun-nuh-nuh, duh-nuh-nuh nuh-nuh-nuh, nuh-nuh-nuh, nuh-nuh-nuh!
Great video I'll check out that last album
yeah K&K is highly recommended - easily the best production and some killer songs
Nice
cheers
@@mendicantmedia great band
Love the channel
Fuckin KILLER band, very weird haha.
yep I love weird bands and they probably win the competition for weirdest
@@mendicantmedia Up there with Deranged. Haha weird as fuck. I really am not the guy who likes the weirdo shit, but some things are just made wild and for whatever reason it just works. Its like built-in crazy.
PTM are weird but also killer heavy as shit music too so the perfect combo for me
Recently came across them, wild stuff, I need to nab the cd
Osmose should still have the first 3 albums available on cd
@@mendicantmedia woah fr? Hell yeah!
@@Quorthon. oops sorry I meant the first 2 albums - not sure if Relapse still have the 3rd album in print
