There are already too many Premiere tutorials out there! How about identifying the most efficient tools (similar to Quik) and compare them? Most of us don't have the time to get into Premiere Pro (learning curve etc) and must rely on easier solutions. A family father, husband, full-time job... no way on earth there would be enough time for over-complicated tools like Premiere!
How do I adjust the sound captured by the GoPro? All I hear is my fpv props going round. I recently just got my first GoPro so I’m slowly getting used to it. Mainly plan to use it for mounting on my FPV but also hope to get some Timelapse’s, driving hyperlapses, star trails etc.

Quik is crap, especially if you have a GoPro, I wanted to use it on the go with my GoPro whilst travelling, it never connects via USB so is absolutely useless. I don't have the time or patience to be creating a slow wifi network to transfer over files which takes too long. Quik is useless, may as well stick to the camera on my phone from now on.
But why they don’t have computer version editing software. This is crazy since the go pro video is huge is size and till Date i did not find any software which can automatically edit the video But the quik doesn’t work is computer or more then 30 sec

I use Quik to edit my GoPro 11 footage as I am so confused on Adobe Premier Pro, which I subscribe to. it's a quick edit option and I've picked up a few useful tips from watching this video. Hi, great video. I don't see an answer to this question though: when I put a video clip in "studio" it doesn't play the entire length of the clip in the edit. How do I get it to play the entire video clip? It only plays a few seconds of it. Thanks for your help
Hello, When on editing mode, tap the pencil icon on each clip, then choose Trim. You can turn off Auto-HiLight. Once done, you should be able to include the full clip length in your edit.
Been using app for year, got subscribtion, then they had update and problems started with exporting and it was really frustrating. Was really mad at that time. Switchted to Kinemaster, much more options and much better app. Quik is the same like gopro cameras, there are good and bad days 😂 But thank you, man, for your content. 👍

App is riddled with bugs and errors. A shame they really push for all the editing to be done on mobile when the app doesn't even function on a variety of smartphones. Especially when they charge for some of the main features. I miss the old desktop app from way back with nothing behind a paywall.
How do I leave the voice and speaking in my clips intact when making my videos? I would like the speaking in the clips and music in the stills as the video flows but I haven't figured out how to do that.

I just recorded a trip on a motorcycle its about 30 minutes of recording. Looks like its broke up into 8 minute clips. #1 how do I tell in with order each 8 minute clip fits into my 30 minute ride.? #2 How do I make a continuous 30 minute video using 8 minute clips? #3 how to I share it on Facebook ? Why does it split the recording up instead of just recording the whole thing in 1 clip?

In the last month or so, lots of issues! Won't let me edit even with the subscription. I didn't have this issue before. Of course we just paid the yearly subscription. Issues editing a 1 minute video even. I didn't pay $50 to have to turn around and pay for another edit program. Especially when the GoPro original music is part of the draw for the Quik app! Not to mention being able to edit on the go. Here I have been recommending this app to people, even those just using their phone. I won't do that anymore.
I’ve given up with it. They’re selling a subscription to an app with more bugs than an a jungle floor. I had to go into the prog and change the music dates to get them to work.
I have been watching GoPro since they first launched. I finally took the plunge and bought a GoPro 10 Black. I was really excited to own this Action Camera with all the features built in... then I started to import my files to my PC and started to realized the limitations of this Camara. I will not pay for any subscription services, nor will I pay extra for any missing CODECS that are not present in the software suite. I actually reached out to GoPro, had several email conversations, also on the phone several times... I told myself afterwards.... "I am NEVER going to buy anything from GOPRO ever again. Those Surfer Dudes can keep their Crap.

GoPro Surfer Dudes really pissed me off with their proprietary B.S. and for $1.29 more, I would have spent the extra at POS (point of sale) at $650 CND, they should have charged $651.29 and included missing codec and everything would have been fine. 🙄

If you hold down on your footage while editing your colours before clicking the tick then I'm pretty sure you can compare it to your original footage 👌 a convenient little trick when editing in quik 😄 Maybe a video of how you store all your footage from GoPros? Do you only use cloud on the app (which I find a little bit slow) or do you move the media completely to an alternative hard drive? 🤔
Cheers Daire, with all of our content we back up everything to a 4TB HDD and then we do a second back up onto our NAS server. So we always have 2 copies of all of our content :)

Unfortunately not, Quik is limited in that regard, for more custom mobile edits i would download adobe rush and start using that or move towards a desktop workflow with premiere pro

I do slow motion videos using multiple angles with 3 GoPro cameras to capture different views. The software from FutureVideo, called Multi-View HD Pro 2 is a real-time player and can simultaneously playback in complete sync the GoPro videos.

OK, I can see what you are doing with GoPro Quik. But do you have a video on this program on what we can do with just the FREE version of Quik????? So what can't the Free version do that you show in your video???? Because allot of this I can probably do in the FREE "Video Proc Vlogger" program. I also have the Filmora Video Editor for editing videos (both these have similar looks to them). Not sure, but Adobe Premiere is probably pretty expensive for what I need to do with videos. I eventually want to get all my GoPro Max videos over onto my PC laptop for editing and I guess I can do the reframing on my phone. Don't know the limitations because I just bought the GoPro Max a few days ago. So I am a newbie at the 360 degree video editing.
Maybe I didn't know what I didn't know so I tried using the app for several minute long videos. I do this for relatives I can pick it up on a fly and pull anything together from tens of thousands of my shots cross indexed in Google photos, the AI lets me see a lot of the potential and then lets me tweak it. I have never had a tool like this, and it's going to take a whole lot of pull to get me off of this and stuck in front of some laptop or Tower pc. So I wish you would consider this in your introduction because I think it puts people, at least some of them, on the wrong track. Regards
It’s so annoying how GoPro Quik doesn’t allow you to cut a video and then saves that same clip when you go to Speed, I hate having to look for the perfect clip section again. Besides that it’s an great Quik app for on the fly
I had the App and deleted it because it ran up 20g of storage on my phone . I didn't even have 1 video saved from my gopro10. When checked to see why the app had used up 20g of storage all it Said was that it was some random files I couldn't even open up. 😐

I'm currently using GoPro Hero 11 and whenever I edit the file exported from the camera it shows as a black screen and the app is useless since it was made for editing but I cannot edit my clips there. It has a fixed lens. You can zoom by moving closer to your subest or editing a digital zoom. If you want optical zoom, you'll need to buy a camera with a zoom lens.
Can we synchronize the music with the video on quick ? And also i wanted to know, for someone that doesn't have epidemic sound, how one can edit its video base on a commercial music for example ? (Because if use the feature on instagram to add music onto reels, then the video is not gonna be synchronized with the music, since we started to edit it without music)

I'm very new to the Quik app. What is driving me nuts is trying to use it with Themes and I get blank sections of my video where it's just a black screen, then a video and then black screen. Sometimes I see the theme effects but not showing my videos on them.
Hi I have a important question if you could please help me. I have recorded holiday footage on my GoPro Hero 10 black. The SD card is 256gb. I have used 66% of it. I have tried 3 different things to try and upload to my cloud: To transfer that footage to my macbook it won’t show the footage/files on the Image Capture app. Also then to download the footage using the Quickapp it takes all of my phone storage and says my phone has no more storage. When I enter the SD card into my laptop. It won’t download the media because of “not enough hardrive storage” What do you do to manage all your files on your computer with having limited storage and how can I fix my problem???
Best solution is to purchase an external HDD, try this one: geni.us/I6lVUz and store all of your content on the external HDD, then, clean up your mac, make sure you have plenty of space on the internal HDD to edit, use "OmniDisk Sweeper" or a similar program to delete any cached files or content that doesn't need to be saved on your internal HDD, go from there!

I eventually want to get all my GoPro Max videos over onto my PC laptop for editing and I guess I can do the reframing on my phone. Don't know the limitations because I just bought the GoPro Max a few days ago. So I am a newbie at the 360 degree video editing.
Maybe I didn't know what I didn't know so I tried using the app for several minute long videos. I do this for relatives I can pick it up on a fly and pull anything together from tens of thousands of my shots cross indexed in Google photos, the AI lets me see a lot of the potential and then lets me tweak it. I have never had a tool like this, and it's going to take a whole lot of pull to get me off of this and stuck in front of some laptop or Tower pc.
So I wish you would consider this in your introduction because I think it puts people, at least some of them, on the wrong track.

It’s so annoying how GoPro Quik doesn’t allow you to cut a video and then saves that same clip when you go to Speed, I hate having to look for the perfect clip section again. Besides that it’s an great Quik app for on the fly
I had the App and deleted it because it ran up 20g of storage on my phone . I didn't even have 1 video saved from my gopro10. When checked to see why the app had used up 20g of storage all it Said was that it was some random files I couldn't even open up. 😐
This Video helped me alot, although I'm just using the free version.

Hello I hope that you could help me with my quik app problem. I'm currently using GoPro Hero 11 and whenever I edit the file exported from the camera it shows as a black screen and the app is useless since it was made for editing but I cannot edit my clips there. How can I resolve this problem? Many thanks!

Thanks for sharing the Quik application features! Just recently got a GoPro and i've been trying to do bball highlight videos for my sons using GoPro Studio but its no longer supported. I wasn't aware that the app is the best way to go but it seems to give you more control and creativity. Thanks alot!

It has a fixed lens. You can zoom by moving closer to your subest or editing a digital zoom. If you want optical zoom, you'll need to buy a camera with a zoom lens.
Can we synchronize the music with the video on quick ?
And also i wanted to know, for someone that doesn't have epidemic sound, how one can edit its video base on a commercial music for example ? (Because if use the feature on instagram to add music onto reels, then the video is not gonna be synchronized with the music, since we started to edit it without music)
I usually make about 20 minutes vlog video. So I want to buy GoPro and want to edit footage by iPhone 13 which is 128GB. If I want to edit those footages in my iPhone, can I do it smoothly ? Will the Color remain natural ? Will I face issue about storage during exporting ?
Yes, editing a 20 minute video needs to be done on a laptop or a desktop

I'm very new to the Quik app. What is driving me nuts is trying to use it with Themes and I get blank sections of my video where it's just a black screen, then a video and then black screen. Sometimes I see the theme effects but not showing my videos on them.

Hi I have a important question if you could please help me. I have recorded holiday footage on my GoPro Hero 10 black. The SD card is 256gb. I have used 66% of it.
I have tried 3 different things to try and upload to my cloud:
To transfer that footage to my macbook it won’t show the footage/files on the Image Capture app.
Also then to download the footage using the Quickapp it takes all of my phone storage and says my phone has no more storage.
When I enter the SD card into my laptop. It won’t download the media because of “not enough hardrive storage”
What do you do to manage all your files on your computer with having limited storage and how can I fix my problem???
Best solution is to purchase an external HDD, try this one: geni.us/I6lVUz and store all of your content on the external HDD, then, clean up your mac, make sure you have plenty of space on the internal HDD to edit, use "OmniDisk Sweeper" or a similar program to delete any cached files or content that doesn't need to be saved on your internal HDD, go from there!

I have a GoPro 10 and recently had an issure on my Android getting all of my memory used up. I finally discovered it was the Quik app after uninstalling all the other apps. Is there a way to use the Quik app without it maxing out all of my phone memory ? Very frustrated as I love the camera and would love any suggestions. TIA Cindy
