You are my favorite plant talker, you know what you are talking about, and you do not act like I have an extra $200 for a plant. I really appreciate that.
@@grossgorl 7 month later respons, but hey :) I got three little propagated stems 5 months ago. Cat tipped it over and one stem never recovered from that. But now? Ho ho! It looks like I've had it for years! My hoya took a good 2 years to actually start growing. But this girl is so grateful and beautiful 🌿❤️
Yes syngoniums!! They are one of my favorite plants; so underrated, easy to grow, and wonderfully unusual when they trail! I didn't even know that they trailed until I went to my math teachers class where she had this HUGE bushy trailing syngonium!! The pot it's in was about I'd say a foot and a half wide in circumference and this plant filled every thing inch of its pot!!!❤❤❤ I always wished to have it :3 I want mine to grow the same but for now they are still in their nursery pots lol
Really nice choices - definitely added a couple to my ‘to-buy’ list! I really appreciate how your plants don’t look absolutely perfect - they’re healthy and lovely but they look like a real person owns them. It makes it feel more realistic compared to people who expect perfection which I will never get!
I agree. Lipstick plants are underrated. I have fire cracker which has smaller flowers but the colours are striking. Black pagoda is beautiful as a hanging plant. Can't wait to propagate a plant for my mum. Really loved your choice of interesting hanging plants.
Hi Nick! This was a great video with your plants, making up my Christmas Wish List of the plants I want, also never apologize about the length of the videos, the more information we plant parents can get, the better, you are a fountain of information, enjoy your weekend, hugs from Orange County, Ca 😊🌿🌿❤❤
I love that it’s a widely held belief that Thaumatophyllum Bipinnatifidum is a mouthful, because that’s literally the only plant of mine that my partner can identify by name
Another great video . I almost fell off my chair when I heard about Ceropegia linearis. Then again when you introduced Syngonium erythrophyllum. I learned from your previous videos that Syngoniums deserve more attention; that translated into many Syngoniums in my house, all doing well, even the tiny ones.
Great video Nick! I agree Llano Carti Road is beautiful. They are SO hard to find! Steve's Leaves lists them on their site but I never see them in restocks. I had to get mine on Etsy and the price since then has tripled.
Hi Nick.. I’ve been watching your channel for quite some time..I love your style of plants and that you share ones that are definitely underrated.. My home has a vibe very similar to yours and I think i will be adding quite a few from your recommendations :). Thanks again.. Keep on planting.. Brings us so much peace in this crazy world, don’t ya think?
I got a large hanging basket of Syngonium erythrophyllum “Llano Carti Rd” without knowing what it was and it ended up drying out on me. I was able to salvage some cuttings and successfully root some but they haven't really been putting out any new growth even under a grow light. I'm just happy they're not completely dead because I haven't seen them anywhere!
I love your long videos! I was watching one a while back and saw you talk about the guppy plant. I just purchased a cutting online! So excited for it to grow!
thanks for showing your piper ornatum (and giving AND writing the name) I saw it in your video earlier and didn't knew the name of this beauty, I am going to get one on the internet, and also a peperomia ruby cascade that I saw in another video of yours.
I saw mayoi in a couple of your other videos and ended up "needing" it. In fact, I liked it so much, I bought two! And everytime I see one for sale, I contemplate buying another. Houseplant issues.
Hi Nick! I really like all of the plants that you showed us. I looked up several online, but they were either sold out, or kinda spendy for me. I would really like to find some plants with the wine color on the back of the leaves. They are so pretty, especially the Aeschynanthus longicaulis/Black Pagoda leaves. As always, it's fun watching you and learning about different plants. Thank you so much for sharing!
@@misshoyajungle3093 well a plant with foliage ressembling a turtles shell is not exactly a common characteristic, but yeah it's fairly easy to come by =)

I have 1 piper ornatum. It is my favorite. Absolutely beautiful. I even put it in a dark wood frame as it only just a feet tall. Problem is I don't want it to grow more. It just look minimal and so beautiful as it is right now.
Love these videos where you introduce us to new plants (my pocket book doesn't though🤣). Would you ever do a video on fast growing indoor plants? I love taking plants from babies to full grown, but some semi instant gratification would be nice.
Do you ever consider taking cuttings from a few of your plants that only have a couple of long vines and propagate a couple of the bottoms to make them denser? I’ve done it several times with very good results.. Love your videos thank you for sharing, Robin
I am obsessed with finding a Black Pagoda! Steve’s Leaves has a waiting list and Logee’s has one but now they won’t send one to Minnesota because of the cold. So frustrating. Glad you’re enjoying yours. ☺️
The leaves on your syngonium Llano Carti Road seem much larger than what I’ve seen in other videos. It’s been on my list for a while for it’s dark foliage, but having a hard time sourcing without a hefty price tag. And I’ve heard they’re fast growers? Don’t know why they’d be so hard to find if so. (Besides the fact that every plant seems hard to find these days.)
I have the syngonium erithropylum and the black pagoda and I love them 💙. That piper is beautiful but I’m intimidated by it. I have a beautiful trailing peperomia clover which is not very common, I got it from Steve’s Leaves. However, the hoffmanii is also not very common or I’d have one too. Good thing about peperomia is that even if they are uncommon, they are not expensive 💙.
Oh you should, I bought one from eBay, it was one vine about 8in long. I cut it up an propagated it an now I have a full 4in pot an about 6in long. It rooted really fast in water. Hope you find or get one. 😃
Those black pagoda lipstick plants are highly UNDERRATED!!! I have one and I’m surprisingly in love with it! It’s gorgeous and it’s growth reminds me of Hoya 🙏🏻💙
