    Hello! A very nice build - you kept the basic structure of the knife, but at the same time it looks totally different...nice! I like the colors you chose...again, the combination of technical savvy, order and discipline(the way you ordered the parts) and artistic bent have produced a knife which is pleasing to the eye and is practical in its use...Good job!

    Apparently I've become obsessed with the cyber tool m. Can an awl and the multi-tool can/bottle opener live on the original knife layer and can you drop the can opener bottle opener layer and put in a dragonfly blade? I also noticed that the multi-bit is centered on the Cyber tool lite. Can the pliers and the multi-bit change order to try to center the screwdriver better?

    • @FittoSurvive
      @FittoSurvive  2 роки тому +1

      The "multi-tool can/bottle opener" AKA combination tool can be placed on a Cybertool with the Dragonfly blade. Adding the awl might be difficult though if you were to remove the can and bottle openers layer. Yes, the tools could be rearranged to get the bit driver as close to the center as possible.

    Nice work! If there is a reason why the knife cant be in place of bottle / can opener layer (1st layer but on the other side)? It would allow one hand opening for right handed person. Also 2nd question - if there is a chance see you modifying some victorinox multitool like Spirit X? Acid wash, blade replacement for one hand opening etc.

    • @FittoSurvive
      @FittoSurvive  3 роки тому

      Thank you!
      I can not move the knife layer to the right side because it's back tool is the corkscrew. The corkscrew protrudes into the cutout on the back scale. That is why the knife layer has to remain on the left side.
      I have not tried modifying a Spirit X yet. It might be possible to do.

    Quick question, while these tools aren't pry bars or dedicated drivers, I can see a need to drive smaller screws perhaps even with the bottle opener socket bit trick where a commonly available screwdriver bit is used. I was wondering about stability of G10 as opposed to aluminum. Personally I would prefer a 300 series set of stainless liners in these knives as weight isn't much of a concern when carried on a belt sheath😂

    • @FittoSurvive
      @FittoSurvive  Рік тому

      The G10 is actually very rigid. And the major advantage that it has over aluminum is that if you do bend it, it will return back to true. Whereas if you bend the original aluminum liners, they stay bent.
      I haven't seen stainless steel liners yet, but I have used titanium, brass, and copper for liners before.
