Being a Gojira fan I knew I had to learn this one when I heard it, and now I have a 7 string it was time to get on in.
There's some tricky parts to this one and some nice easy parts that you can really dig into.
The intro riff with the tapping is an awesome riff that only happens at the start. If you're use to tapping the tricky part is alternating between the chugs and tapping cleanly and accurately. I sometimes miss the 12th fret and hit the 13th but as always, practise will help iron out any problems.
The fast alternate string skipping verse is one you may have to take slow to start with to get it into your muscle memory. I find it helps to learn in over several days in smaller sessions than hammering it for hours and getting fatigue in the hands. Gradually it gets better each day and eventually up to speed.
The outro riff is a challenge if you want to down pick most of it, but if you can manage to you will get that far more aggressive edge on those chugs!
I'm a huge fan of guitar pro for learning songs as it has a really helpful looping speed trainer feature!

Hey Steve! What string gauge are you using for this tuning? I have 74 on the lowest and when I do the bend above the nut the string gets trapped so the tuning gets higher and I have to bend it the conventional way to get it in tuning again.
@whitestplayer3014 it's got the stock 10-54 gauge strings on at the moment. I'll be upping up a bit when I change them
Try running a sharp pencil through the grooves of the nut and the saddles of the bridge. The graphite of the pencil lead can help stop the string catching.

I swear the tapping bit is 12-5-8-12-5-8 (repeat) then 12-3-7-12-3-7 (repeat). You’re playing it right but I think the tabs are wrong (here and on ultimate guitar)
I slowed the video, REALLY tried listening to the recording through good headphones, and watching you and some footage of them playing it
I'm still not entirely sure if it's an ascending or descending to be honest. It's a hard one to really pick out in the mix. Sometimes it feels like it's 12 8 5, and sometimes it feels more like 12 5 8
Are you bending the open low G behind the nut in the intro riff?
