The outro does have a repeating pattern. Break it down into smaller phrases and piece it together and you'll be on the road to nailing it.

For the outro is the low e/d string just palm muted or is it also muted with the left hand as well, while strumming I don’t mean the mutes after the notes
Good question, I was just heavily palm muting and using the left hand to mute the gaps so probably should have written it as palm muted 0s. No reason to mute with the left hand all the time though! I would say it's more about the percussive sound that the note of the string so which ever sounds better.
@@ShadowMantraSteve thank you, I was thinking when i play this myself it definitely sounds better to me with just a palm mute as opposed to a left hand mute so i was curious about the x on the tab, thanks for clearing it up
@@DumbPeopleIHate Yea it's definetely heavy palm muting with just the right hand above the bridge humbucker instead of the bridge

Your Gojira covers are so insanely good. If you ever decide to start talking I'd watch / pay for full length lessons, starting with wtf that noise is in Gift of Guilt and how you are the only person I've seen do it right.
I am looking into starting live streams, just got to work out some logistics for it all.
If I got which sound you're referring to, that's basically a bended pinch harmonic... on top of that you can add some more stuff (for example I play some pull-off after the bend to make the pitch descend back to C), but the fundamental point is the pinch harmonic.

@@ShadowMantraSteve the ending is my favourite part to play, even if it can be a little hit and miss! I've been trying to add natural harmonics like when they play it live but it tends to screw with my concentration 😅
