Hi Shawna, on the original piece I used a stabile 8046 but in the one that you see me creating I just used a charcoal pencil and then smudged with water.

Yes this time I did use a charcoal pencil and I tend to use Galeria Matte Medium but Mod Podge will work just as well. Thank you.

Hi, thank you! I think it's just the way the camera caught the paint in the light! It is acrylic paint and then I went over it with acrylic matte medium which may have caused a bit of a shine.
