I have huge soft spot in my heart for Saint Bernards! We had one named Oscar who was loving , playful, loyal , great dance partner and he was my own personal guardian in life. He was extremely devoted and protective towards me. Oscar had protected me from carjacker by physically attacking him away from me and stood between us until carjacker took off with his ripped in half hooded jacket. Oscar was my beloved hero! LOL , he had stopped my brother’s bullying despite the fact that Oscar was his own dog. Oscar had imprinted on me and bonded with me from the moment that he had first met me as puppy. No matter what my brother tried to do , he could not prevent Oscar wanting to be with me. Oscar had learned how to open our shared Jack’&’Jill bathroom doors to come sleep and cuddle with me. Oscar’s best animal friend was black tuxedo cat named Samson who had slept with him and he had ridden on Oscar’s back during walks when Oscar was outdoors.

Back in the 70s a stray dog came to our house, we played with him for a few days fed him to. We live in a very small town and my older sister who played with him the most was taking him home. It was a saint benard. She got about a block from the house and the dog turn on her. Lucky for her she was in front of my parents best friends home. They got the dog off her and call my mom, and this is were it gets so strange, while my mom was talking on the phone our family dog could tell my mom was upset and she said my sisters name. When she open the door our dog flew out of the house down the block straight to my sister and smell her she was covered in blood. He then took off to right where they had the dog and attacked him and would of killed him if left to it. Our dog was a mix of pit bull and boxer, when they got him off the dog he went right back to my sister . She had to have 80 stitches in head and shoulders. That dog had attacked people before her and nothing was done about it. Till it got my sister, she was 14 at the time. We have always been Animal lovers and bought strays home, and that didn't stop her or us from doing it.. you would of thought it would and we still do it..

Spanish Mastiff could have made the list as well. I just got a pup so I’m kind of bias. But the father of my pup was 200 lbs and mother was 150 lbs. Still as a former owner of a Boerboel I’m happy to see those recognized on this list.
Sometimes they are under 90 pounds but none the less can be huge. A long time ago I read where one got to be 42 inches tall. That would be unusual unless the author got confused with the Great Dane but it said Great Pyrenees.
The English Mastiff should be number 1 in my humble opinion. As it says in this video, the heaviest dog ever was the English Mastiff. Also through research I've found that most respectable breed experts consider it to be the heaviest dog on average.
I have a boerboel and I wouldn't trade him for nothing in the world. Once you had one you don't want nothing else. Very protective a real guard dog and very intelligent. I have mine trained on numbers. MONSTER is 150lbs pure muscle and lovable to the family.

Boerboel has to be the nicest dog on this list.
Yeah right! They are generally nice, however, they are guard dogs and will exhibit territorial aggression.
I love the St. Bernard we had one. Sadly he had a serious hip issue.. (He missed a part of the bone structure), yet made it up to 9 years old. Such a sweet dog he was!
I am from Pakistan and there is only creature that I love him than myself is dogs
Dog mean
Loyality
True love
Sacrafice in love
Brave
Legend
I'm from india
And ur comment is really touching
I'm from india...please keep posting
They are All beautiful!
If I had a Saint Bernard I would name him Kujo, so when I’m at the park with this giant 220+ pound dog and people hear me call Kujo, they freaked out
Born_Wild_ #9 i got a huge leonberg called theo he’s 180 pounds he’s a bear
I think most people don’t even know who Kujo is ^^
I never heard of him
i love them all
Spanish Mastiff could have made the list as well. I just got a pup so I’m kind of bias. But the father of my pup was 200 lbs and mother was 150 lbs. Still as a former owner of a Boerboel I’m happy to see those recognized on this list.
Great Pyrenees must have just missed the list. My GP pup is only a year old and already 110 lbs.
I’m watching this with my big boy at my side. He’s an English Mastiff; which is great breed. Super loving, sensitive and aims to please.
Chris Moody
My 6 year old female is snoring up a storm next to me on the couch right now. She’s 165 pounds of pure love and drool.
Chris Moody , they are best !
I love OVCHARKA!!!The best one!And Czekoslovakian wolf dog too!
You forgot Clifford
awsume life 😅😂😅😂❤️
xD
1:00 agiler not even a word lol
Big love and hugs 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 to this Chanel we love dogs because of them loylty and keep it up 👍 good luck
From saudi Arabia 🇸🇦❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What happened with the Great Pyrenee? They are big and they protect cattle. Thanks
The English Mastiff is the heaviest dog breed.
No. The Heaviest Saint Bernard ever is 366 lbs. Saint Bernard is the Heaviest Dog breed in the world.
@@Nirsterkur No!!!
@@bordercollie1140 Did you watch the video until the end? 8:40 onwards?
great video man
Enjoyed this, they are awesome dogs..
I have a central asian shepard and he is 4months now. He weights about 45kg now. His father is 115kg.
I want all of them. All. Of. Them. Love big dogs 💖 my daughter has a Dane mix . He's so sweet.
Gotta Catch em all ! Lol
I need your opinion is a Rottweiler mind & nice & stuff but also kinda a guard dog?
Mastiffs!! Great content
I have a boerboel and I wouldn't trade him for nothing in the world. Once you had one you don't want nothing else. Very protective a real guard dog and very intelligent. I have mine trained on numbers. MONSTER is 150lbs pure muscle and lovable to the family.
I don’t want a dog who weighs more than I do. When I found out giant dogs only live 6 to 8 years, that made me sad; I get very attached to my dogs.
Look at Newfoundland. Get a girl from a reputable breeder and keep her on the lean side. She’ll do 10-12 years standing on her head.
My Caucasian Shepherd Deebo is 220lbs now and only a year and a half old. He will reach 250lbs-275lbs
How about the Tibetan mastiff?
Kilograms!
About Caucasian shepherd dog?
Poisoned sisters caucasian ov was on the list
The caucasian shepperd is my favorite ❤
Meanwhile my Chihuahua can butcher anyone of them ....
lmao
So True 😂
Alaskan Malamute and Irish Wolfhound are also great. I really love big dogs.🐶🦮🐕🦺💕💕
I’ve had 2 wolfies & they were very protective of me and my kids, but only when needed & never chomped anything. Their bark and height were enough to deter ❤️
Love this video
What about the Bernese Mountain dog clearly huge but very affectionate!!!! Great with kids and can be bigger than St Bernard
I have a Bernese. He’s just a puppy. 7 months and weighs about 85 lbs. There’s one I see regularly at the dog park that weighs 150 lbs but most aren’t nearly that big.
You’re right though, they are such nice dogs.
If collie especially rough collie mix with gsd are they good
We have Caucasian Shepherd. It's body structure closely resembles of T38 tank.
My mom wanted to get the Ovcharka as well. But damn they're expensive. Are they as protective with the family as they say they are?
U r so lucky.... I always want to hv C. Shepherd... But unfortunately parents don't allow me to have one.
I'm so jealous!!
One of the most bad ass dogs.
@@Redhotrussian1Yes, extremely territorial and protective. When we take him for a walk, he is very dormant and cuddly, but once he is at home he transforms into a beast.
Sorry about the late reply, I didn't get any notification for some reason.
Thank you for the valuable efforts, it is very useful information. I am a fan of dogs, I love them very much
The narrator sounds like a real drama queen.
What a beauty
Highest living dog lmao... sounds like he wakes and bakes everyday
♥️#10 is my pick
Having animals is easy. Its always up to the owner on how itll grow up. Just like kids. You have a parent who's abusive....well..you get the rest.
Greetings can you please se these two breeds, Rafeiro do Alentejo and Fila são Miguel, thanks
This pup looks beautiful. Great body posture.
I would name him/her "MAJESTIC"
Majesty. Or Debbie.
I had a 265 lb St Bernard who was my constant companion in Colorado.
French Mastiff should have been on that list.
I like all of it 😍
I LOVE EACH AND EVERY DOG THEIR IS.. I LOVE THEM ALL THEY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL AND GIANT.. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE SOME OF EACH.. LOL 🤭💜
Rescue Dogs are my favorite breed ... especially special needs Rescues.
Caucasian shepard 👍👍👍🧡 from Armenia Caucas 🇦🇲
Tosa inu: you forgot me i can weigh up to 200 pounds
love my sisters St. Bernard, he is only 2 years and 60ish kg i guess he still got a bit to grow but he will never be of the larger ones. i cant even imagine a St. Bernard at 100kg extra, the amount of love that thing contained must be impressive
Male Kangals can up to 130 kg. 68kg its not top limit for'em. Generaly between 65-77 kg but they can up to far more heavy builds.
Saint Bernard at any given point...But being in India considering the temperature I wudnt keep it...I find them the most adorable of large species...🐅🐅🐅🐅
suggestion to do some toy breeds that includes pomeranians, small dogs, etc

These dogs are so cute! 🥰
