There are some very dangerous animals on earth, but domesticated dogs are not. it’s unfair to callously label a dog as dangerous. Nevertheless, it can’t be helped that some dog breeds have more potential to cause serious harm if the dog were to decide to attack. Lastly, It is important to note however that most dogs are bred with the desire to please their masters. Thus most incidents involving dogs stem from improper training and harsh ownership. Even dogs that are socialized and treated properly can attack. At the end of the day, they are an animal with evolutionary instincts that cannot be removed with a few years of behavior training. EVERY dog can potentially attack, so have a healthy respect for them and NEVER allow them unrestrained around small children.
The most dangerous dog I know of is the Hot Dog. That one almost chocked me to death last year. It is also the only dog that can cause permanent brain damage if an attack is not treated in time.

wrong, there are dangerous dogs, as the DNA of a protector dog, or one with a high prey drive, can not be suppressed 100% by treats and love and other bullshit.
So think carefully, before you buy e.g. a Boerboel for an apartment, most likely will kill the neighbour's baby, no matter the training.
I have a fully trained female Cane Corso and 2 Jack Russells, when I leave home, Cane is always in a separate crate than the Russells, cause I know what I am doing.
Not many owners know what a powerful breed can really do and yeah, it's not about love and bullshit.

I had a Rottweiler she was good as gold my lovely Cindy I miss her lots she died of cancer in 1997. They teach those poor Dogs to be angry.
Dog on my profile pic passed away in February. Getting another Rotti soon, they are great dogs, very clever, protective and relatively easy to train.
People who don't train their dog or learn how to look after certain breeds are a big problem. I've known a fair few rottis and none are aggressive but if you break into a house with one then you're running the risk of getting messed up.
Training, exercise, reward and stimulation are what most dogs want, not to be treated like some human companion.

@@anniegill1 Not really, Storm, slept with me, we played, walked, talk if you know body communications, no leash, we were a pack. Nothing unfair in her life, 16 years is a long time for any dog and when things got bad i decided to let her sleep. I wish humans would grant me the same honor. Storm went to nursing homes, hospitals, gave blood to save other dogs, she was one of a kind and im glad that when she was that "Last one of the litter, the runt" I gave her my soul. I have her ashes, photos and a monument in my home to her honor. I have 2 dogs now, both rescues, Roxy (labrador) and Dixie (aussiedor) they both sleep with me and we are a pack. One thing ive learned and passed on to one of my daughters is to be a animal wisperer. Roxy will be dying soon, im going to miss her, she is almost 11, all the neighborhood kids love her, shes super sweet and would give anyone kisses and play with you. If you read this far, i appreciate it, know this....a bond doesent just exist between humans, animals bond with us as well. Ive been a animal rescuer for a long time. No worries, i appreciate different opinions.

I've been around dogs my entire life, from small terriers to huge mastiffs. ALL dogs, no matter how well trained or behaved can turn and attack. Yes, even YOUR sweet little baby. You can train them well, treat them well, socialize them, etc. and after years of nothing but calm, loving behavior, something trivial can set them off and they will attack. You just need to have a healthy respect for their potential to hurt you and NEVER allow an unrestrained dog around a small child. PERIOD. People need to stop with their delusional anecdotal evidence that their dog is too well-trained or lovable to hurt someone...and that is exactly when something bad happens.

I had a canine that is literally spelled out from the word dog. She was what we called a chewable, mainly because she was a Chihuahua Pitbull mix. What’s even weirder about how this worked out was that her mother was a Pitbull and the father was a Chihuahua. Don’t ask me how that worked out because idk. Anyways, she was a great dog to have, even if she peed when she was excited. She also liked to chase cats and small dogs sadly. Other than that she was the nicest canine I could’ve had for my first dog -which it was technically my stepdad’s. Sadly she passed away about 3-4 years ago, but all of us remember her silly appearance and personality 💙

I now have a large breed poodle.
I also had the same results, using PET. I have a perfect family dog.
A friend of mine used to have this 99 dog named Eunice. She stood about 12" at the shoulder and weighed about 30 pounds with yellow eyes. As long as you looked at her directly in the eye you would be ok. As soon as you looked away with now growling or barking she would jump straight for your throat!

My friend has a giant Rottweiler and it's the sweetest thing I've ever seen but that dog is so muscular. Even though the dog is ginormous it literally couldn't hurt a fly. When my dad first saw her he was nervous about me going up to the door. I just laughed and said "just watch" I got up there she sniffed me and then decided to just run in circles. Fun fact: If you come into my yard or home without me, my Chow will bite. There are warning signs to stay out. There's a reason that the breed is in the list. They were bred to guard.

My Boerboel Goldie was abandoned by my neighbors when they moved. She’s very sweet , has a kitten at home as a friend and is known by name at Lowe’s and places allowing dogs. I know how friendly she is to people but am cautious about other dogs as she tends to want to bully them. I carry a pet trainer (Pet Zoom) to stop any aggression before it starts with this small box.

@@lukaspieper633 That's what I was told when I got my puppy. I lived on a farm though, so he was taught to socialize with the other dogs, cats, chickens, horses, donkey, goats and of course people.
Baby goats are best for socializing puppies as they try to ram you to play, push and jump on you. Anyone that wants a good farm dog has to socialize puppies like that, will teach them a lot of patience.
They're definitely not for first time owners. I almost tell everyone not to get one..even though I own one

I agree with Matt B. I got a Rottweiler and must say she is the most loveable dog i ever had. I inheret this dog feom my daughter as a puppy and was very apprehensive. But will never give her away now.

Why do people think chow chows are so dangerous?! I have a chow chow of my own and any time he notices a human or another dog he will just want to go over to them and sniff them. He is so loving like many other chow chows

Idk why but I find smaller dogs terrifying. I once had a chihuahua, bad things happened. I now have a pitbull terrier, she's a very angry dog, I love her. I loved my chihuahua too but I was young and scared. She's not dead, we had to give her to a different family, she is very happy with them.
Raised Chow Chows for 25 years, I had several dogs at a time in total 5 dogs. Never had any issues with this breed, Ben my mailman would sit in the yard and play with them.
