Bad contract draft a great idea
Real
Facts
Bradley Beal messed it up for everybody else
The shitass wizards messed it up for everyone else. Them and the shitass Timberwolves for setting the trade package standard with that kings ransom they sent out for Gobert.
Him and Donavan Mitchell
Damn, I haven't really kept up with Donovan, has he been underperforming or just not improving?@@cantbecanceledpodcast
@@cantbecanceledpodcast Disagree with D Mitch
@@anthonycelestin3559 ok what has he done with that big contract to make you think he’s worth another one
One of those names is not like the rest that you mentioned..
LOW disrespecting Jimmy Butler
😂, yeah jimmy is a dawg, but Iv heard critiques about how he doesn't show up in the regular season plus injury prone.
35 year old is not worth the 50 million a year he wants
So who gonna tell KD and Kawhi and Curry then? He's gotten deeper in the playoffs more than any of them have in the last 5 years except Curry.
@@danieldaw1778 The Jimmy disrespect is crazy but Demar Defrozen got a big contract from the Kings. Demar way better than Jimmy, get out of here with that
@@anthonycelestin3559the kings are just desperate tbh. They went from being a 3 seed to missing playoffs. Jimmy is a dawg , but with the new restrictions his value won’t be as high and for rn teams aren’t desperate enough to trade for him and pay him.
The first victims of the new cba. If you’re making even near max money, you better be a top 15 player minimum.
💯% There's a lot of players whose value just plummeted in a single off-season. "You're not that guy" is getting dished out by the dozen.
Good
Or you have to be a fringe star on a non contender or on a small market team.
@@bronzeandsteel3344because there’s more talent in the league than ever before and franchises are starting to realize that. More talent entering the legaue every year means that every year the average player and the best players get just a little closer, because there’s only so good you can get, humans have limits, but the amount of people that are reaching those limits is higher than ever, which is due to a lot of different reasons that it would take me several more paragraphs just to explain properly, but if you want to know why, I’m sure there’s videos people made explaining why there’s more talent in the league now than 2 decades ago.
Yeah its not that teams dont want them, they are all good players and better than most in the league but for the amount of money that they expect to get teams aint trying to give it to people they feel wont truly be all the difference
Butler is a difference tho, b.I holds down every year he’s been hurt
Exactly and teams would rather use that money to invest in younger talent and develop them into an elite player.
In the situations where if you want to compete, your best case is to pay that player not let them walk Idm 😂
Bro tried to flash the knicks like we wouldn’t notice
43 million for Zach Lavine is mind-blowing. That’s the 18th highest salary for 2024-25.

Do a fat Draft. 🎉 low number 1
They not stars they complimentary plays other than Jimmy in playoffs
Bro snuck in Dlo like we wouldn’t notice
Jimmy still good.. what u talking about? He's now injury pron but yeah I'd still pay him what him wants just to be in the finals again. Miami fans pay top dollar to be in finals seats. Profit is big for the whole time so yeah I'd give him his what he wants
As a Miami fan, this injury prone/“he load managed last season” nonsense baffles me. Last season he played 60 games, only 4 game less than the 2023 season and MORE than when we made the finals in 2020, or went to the ECF as the first seed in the East while still averaging 20 ppg on 50/40/85 splits. People are talking like he regressed big time for no reason
@@JoseLopez-kv1lr yeah the entire discussion around him is crazy and very disingenuous
Jimmy Butler is 35
@jonathansykes4986 yeah but that doesn't mean he isn't still a star player and he is certainly more valuable than lavine or Randle
The Knicks want Julius Randle!
Every single one of these players, excluding JB, can't play defense and are paid like second options with third option talent. Jimmy Butler is just old af and paid superstar money tho
everyone?
You tell me jimmy butler ain’t that guy cause he gets injured 1 postseason but kwahi a superstar he missed every postseason since 2019 fuc no that boy jimmy like that 😂
👀👀👀
Exactly. The one postseason he gets injured everyone jumps on him. I just got done talking ab how he played the second most games since Chicago on 50/40/85 splits in 60 games for 20 ppg. People just saw him sprain his meniscus and jumped on the bandwagon
I mean tbf, let heat fans tell it he's gotten injured the last 4/5 post seasons
@@NewwxNewwhe wouldn’t get hurt if he didn’t carry bums
As a heat fan, i don't blame jimmy. Cause when he plays, he really plays and put the work in.
Management is been the one being cheap and signing g-leaguers hoping they are the missing piece lmao 😂 @@NewwxNeww
Butler knows his worth tho. Like you said he’s older but he puts that fire in every other player around him and makes them play to their best especially to where he plays better than most those max contract players. And truly puts his body on the line
But that fire doesn't ignite until the playoffs, and it cost them last season using that mindset. Jimmy didn't care until the play in, and because his team was a low seed, they needed to play extra games just to get into the playoffs. Then he ended up getting hurt, and it cost his team no matter which way you slice it. That's on Him. If he played hard during the regular season and got a better rank, who knows what happens.
Why does this have so many likes ?? Bro is not worth the contract he wants 😂😂😂
Butler so overrated.
@@natsuelric2153 THIS. Been saying the same thing myself for about a year now. Butler has basically done disguised load management the past 3 seasons....and it's put Miami in a pressure cooker in their opening playoff or play-in series.
Y’all say anything, bro only had 2 good seasons
Lumping Jimmy in with those other 2 is nuts
jimmy is a 35 year old injury prone player that doesn’t try in the regular season who wants the max in a league where even the slightest mistake money wise can hamper you for years. as great as jimmy is, he’s not the type of player you pay that money for, especially not in this new league with how much risk it comes with.
@@denzel8827😂😂😂oh so because he doesn’t show up in the regular season it’s a problem now??? But for the most part he shows up in the playoffs where it actually matters
@@Newportnews98 Be real. It'd be really hard to open the wallet for Butler. Dude's 35. The chances of a massive dropoff are huge.
@@Newportnews98 yes, it does matter. that’s just adding onto all the other risks jimmy has. jimmy’s a great player, read what i said. he wants max money worth something near what an MVP would want, and he is just not worth that type of risk. it’s as simple as that. stop acting dumb.
@@denzel8827no mvp level player is making what Jimmy makes. Be quiet

The Nets will take Brandon Ingram ngl everyone else can stay with their respected teams
@14:11 we need that vid idea ASAP!!!
Wow. The Jimmy Butler disrespect is CRAZY. He's been to TWO NBA Finals as a #1 option with limited talent around him. Very few guys in the NBA can say that. He's a 6x All-Star and 5x All-NBA. Mentioning him in the same sentence as Randle, Ingram and Lavine is downright blasphemous. With that said, I do more or less agree with this video.
Juluis randles only in this tier because of his poor playoff performances. Once he proves he can play well in the playoffs I think the narrative changes.
It's so funny how people said the Bulls were idiots for not giving Lavine a max, only for everyone to be upset he's untradable
Hold up. Why is Jimmy Butler getting this slander (also, putting him and DLo in the same category is some bullshit Homerism)? KD is a year older, he has a similar if not worse injury history and less success recently.
Low who is a better player Jamal Murray vs the Lakers or LeBron James vs the Raptors?
Turned ts off when he started talking nonsense about jimmy. Dude is just conjuring a narrative for clicks
Jimmy is 0-2 in the finals
@@RonCali93and?
Alright, but who's winning against those teams that he lost to with the Miami heat Jimmy Butler had? That list is insanely short.
Wow. You dont think Butler is a star in this league ? Was 1 injured playoff all it took to put him in the tier of Julius Randle? I think he is becoming super underrated and unappreciated
Jimmy Butler is 35
@jonathansykes4986 he is still more valuable than Randle or Lavine. 1 injured playoff run shouldn't discredit his entire run with miami .
@@joshuacooper319 he's also unmanageable. A thing people seem to forget whenever considering his value: he has a high value on the floor, but he's not compatible with all kind of teams/coaches/GMs, and that put him at risk not to find someone putting th right price, decreasing his value. It's a shame, but this is where it's at.
I legit just got in a spat with somebody saying nobody wants Lavine, good to know I’m not crazy

It's such a silly take to denigrate Jimmy, while hyping old Curry. Jimmy certainly is top 15 and has had that perennial all star career you're describing.
He is not top 15 idk who told u that lol
@@destinedforgreatness3030 right, you. Gotta be smokin dust if you think he’s top 15
lmao he's definitely top 15 wtf
@russellcast1749 the most overrated players in the league. He done nth his whole career lol.
Maybe 2 years ago but he definitely not top 15 😂
I understand why people hate on Julius Randle cause he’s been awful in the playoffs or for being a “ball stopper” but in the regular season bro is a walking 25 10 and 5 those are amazing numbers. If you were watching the knicks pre Julius injury with OG he was a great playmaker and wasn’t holding the ball so much. And he’s only played in 3 playoff series the first one he had to be a number 1 option on a horrible knicks team and the other two he was battling an injury. This year is definitely make or break tho for him to prove he can carry that regular season play to the postseason.
And he was playing really good defense. People think that Randle is a bad leader or player when there’s more evidence to prove that he’s been great. Moments in his career just get taken out of context and used narrative purposes cause it easier than following the team day to day
Marz
Chill
You
Make that bad contract draft happen
Ticket? 😂
Julius Randle has to be the most disrespected player in the league for absolutely no reason at all. He was an All NBA player recently. He deserves some credit.
He’s the most underrated player by far in the NBA tbh. Multiple all stars and all nbas and people talk about him like he’s a role player and doesn’t move the needle. I think his career needs to be given more context than just a bad player. The Knicks played really well with him and OG and it’s gonna work with Mikal. He’s not a hot head and beyblade Randle he was a couple years ago. People just take moments in his careeer and run with it for narrative purposes
It’s because he’s ass in the playoffs
@@angelmercedes2029he’s not bad but he’s most definitely not a franchise player or even really close to that. I think he’s pretty properly rated tbh

Nobody wants temu Tatum cuz he can't read the defense and can't create his own shot like derozen who is older, and less athletic. Who ever gave that man a $200 mil contract should be banned from the united center.

I think these players will end up getting close to 20-25% of the cap. Starting at $35 million per year. They are not getting 40-50 million per year.
Just pay players individually and don’t have a fucking “role” tag on each salary like “max” “super max”. This is so stupid, just check how they do in Europe or Prem
Yo, do the bad contract draft. That shit sounds ridiculous and hilarious.
Also never thought too much about these types of players and their contracts, kinda faded into the back of my mind when I learned what they make individually. But when you start listing them all off and seeing how many of these bad contracts there are? Goddamn. Great vid

There's gonna pure 80-87 overalls sitting in free agency. 2K really is a simulation
I think BI can be a superstar but Zion emerging as a primary ball handler kind of stole his spot. Some team should at least want to give him a huge two year deal or something.
My thing about Jimmy Butler is that he could have won a title in miami. But they never updated the roster, they literatly have the exact same roster from there 2020 bubble year. Bro that is insane, while every other team is getting better, what did you expect him to do.
