- In this Hell Let Loose Update 10 gameplay we have some action in light tanks. At the start of every match tank crews always race for the medium tank, but not us! We use the Luchs and Stuart to charge points and get behind enemy lines. They are especially good at hunting down garrisons. These tanks are a nice change of pace from the current heavy meta and are just fun to operate as a tank crew!

I usually never take the Luchs. Its cannon feels so underpowered in comparison to every other tank Germany has. As you saw in the video, you can pummel an infantry target directly with its HE and fail to get them with splash. Given that there's a naturally spawning Puma or Panther, I always pick one of those up before I pick up the Luchs. If I can't pick one of those up I hop on arty and wait for anything else. XD but I usually only see Luchs getting used on their natural spawn when fuel is low and never at any other time- and it seems clear why that is. For example, I have never asked for a Luchs nor have I ever heard anyone else ask for a Luchs. The consensus seems to be that a Puma does everything a Luchs can do better, even if it's more vulnerable. Maybe the Luchs is less prone to getting stuck, but that's no reason to choose it.
Maybe I'll give it more of a chance.
The situation is different for the US, where the Stuart is actually a great choice that I'm wiling to take. The Stuart can even fill the role of the Greyhound if you use it right, although it doesn't have automatic drive. If I don't have any enemy tanks to worry about, the Stuart is more than enough.

Everytime I find a Full crew and we decide it's a fuck if full send it in light tanks kinda game its always probably the most fun I've had in this game
Great job, idk how you do it; for me the ligh vehicles are the harder ones to operate and over all get 'em to survive the front line, i guess must be the whole crew too. Great runs.
Absolutely. They seem to get ignored at the start of every match so it's a great time to just jump in and send it.

Same with recon tanks, to many play it wrong or think they are trash. Go far behind enemy lines, use the recon function and kill them from behind.
@@Swisshost Well, the recon is useful all around the board, whereas something like the Luchs cannot kill anything heavier than a Stuart.
This video demonstrates what the Luchs is best at: engaging infantry positions with in a hit-and-run attack. I personally don't like the Luchs at all because it's main cannon is really underpowered in terms of HE splash. The Stuart is great fun, though.

The Luchs is my favorite tank in the game actually. There's a little too many AT classes imo (e.g. the amount of satchels alone is insane), however if used to its strengths the Luchs is amazing and a ton of fun. That 20mm cannon is a joy to shoot.
Vade, Tiger, alpine sniper, twin city shredder, TJ3 History, SGT Moody, Hinkel, BavKnight108.. ALL of them are much better than what you have going.
