throw back to a couple days ago I was able to commanded the funniest crew. We became a tank ace in a single life and stayed in the same Panther the entire game.
I had one game recorded where we had 3 panthers, a Panzer IV and a recon tank in one game. I was one of the Panther The enemy basically had no more tank crews cause they had enough getting blown up. It was us versus an army of Anti Tank rocket guys. Possibly one of the best game I ever had. Once a rocket flies by. I just reverse to face that direction and 4-5 more rockets goes towards the front of the panther and bounces. Same on Panzer IV. The front of that tank bounces rockets all day.
actually i've seen a Panzer II killing the Stuart couple times because the Stuart is ricocheting off the front and the Luchs just smashing 60 rounds in his front. the best part is when u just stand beside and look at them, beautiful
JUMBO 75. It is classified as an “assault tank”, basically an up-armored medium that’s meant to survive heavy tank shots. That’s it. That’s it’s one purpose. Survive heavy tank shots as a medium.
-Had the best games in the Luchs. Its really a hit or miss. -75 Jumbo should respawn automaticly after 10ish minutes and also not at the start of the game. -Recon tanks are the most fun to use. The russian one is for what ever reason the worst recon. I hate it. -Panther...
I find the luchs situational, it can absolutely dominate, but can also be completely useless in other situations. Agree on the jumbo, they should also buff the amount of smoke rounds it gets to be on par with the medium sherman. The BA-10 has that weird lag effect the half track does making it handle so weirdly
Im hyped for the Brits. Ive got an idea for tanks? For the heavies, the churchill MK.III as with that 6 pounder with APDS, it could mess up heavies. Cromwell for medium. Tetrarch for light and daimler for armoured car. One possible extra is the Comet. It could act similar to the Panther. Fast, very good gun and heavy armour. I was considered a "Heavy Cruiser" because for some weird reason the British called Mediums cruisers
What about the Firefly? I think for Brits the Comet could be the panther, Churchill the tiger, Cromwell the panzer, the retrace the light and Daimler the car as you said, and then the Firefly as a bonus medium, or swap the firefly and the comet
All tanks S tier when used right. Shame they're never used right often. I recall one match as Germany my friends and I were in a Panzer 4 and we actually had to return to get more ammo, we and the Tiger were both doing amazingly hanging back to punish anyone popping their heads up sadly though in pushing our infantry does what they do best and run off and die stupidly leaving our tank vulnerable.
HLL looks really nice and good overall, but the tank combat systems look to be really simplified (I have never played the game so please tell me if I'm misunderstanding something here). For example, a puma should be more than capable of penetrating the side of a sherman, and a shot to the engine of the sherman (like at 1:15) should knock the engine offline, and stop them from turning around.
unfortunatly the tank mechanics are very simplified especially when compared to Post Scriptum. The pumas gun doesn't really matter since it's based on the class, that being recon tanks can destroy heavy tanks only if it's 4 shots to the rear, otherwise it'll richochet no matter what
Note for the new tankers, you can absolutely use recons to wipe tanks on the enemy team. BUT you need to hold your shot until your within 10 meters and on their ass. You want to ass ride them as they turn, they will never be able to get you.
The Tigers survivability wasn't solely based on its armor thickness. The Tiger often outranged its enemies, which is where the weak Sherman 75 myth came from. It didn't have the same range to engage the tiger. More over many games overstate the accuracy of these tank guns. It was almost unheard of to aim at a specific "weak point" again particularly at the ranges these battles occurred. When getting into closer range battles in and around towns and cities it made engaging Tigers and king tigers much easier for those reasons. for example Tiger 131 was "knocked out" by the fabled "tiger shot tarp" gun mantlet design you mentioned in the video. However it served a hail of AT fire for an extended period of time.
Puma is the best vehicle hands down I've two manned and three manned pumas and just ruined the enemy team by running around their back lines destroying heavy tanks and garrisons
Don’t want the jumbo 75 to get replaced. They should just add the other tank suggestions without replacing it. The jumbos played a big role in real life and I think it’s pretty fun to roll in one every now and then.
I've 1600 hrs on HLL. Since the last update, whenever I fire my mg as the driver in all tanks, the tank jumps into neutral gear, meaning I can't move and shoot at the same time. Any ideas how to solve this, guys?
The jumbo's role had an offical name it was "Assault tank" because the american supply did not see a need for a larger gun since in the actual war the American tank crews encountered Tigers 3 times in Europe there was not a real need for a larger gun.
@@kingchirpa I am not. The British were in control of the majority of sectors where heavy tank battalions operated. There are only 3-4 known engagements of Americans VS Tigers. Plenty of panthers were encountered in France though.
had a game in the British light tank were I got around 40 to 60 kills by watching the Bridge and moving to different positions so it was harder for them to kill us, even at one point we pretended to be dead or abandoned and whenever I got the chance to kill someone I did.
Well, the Panther is a medium tank, forcibly up armored by the man himself. A fun (not balanced) way they could make the Tiger better is to make its gun 1 shot everything if it penetrates, since out of all of the tanks it is the only one equiped with an actual "heavy tank gun" and not a gun used by medium tanks (tiny argument for 85mm, but the soviets used solid shot soo uh nuh uh). This should also mean that if the pershing or IS-2 or Tiger II or whatever other heavy tanks with actual heavy tank guns are added they'd have the same ability. They could also add tank destroyers where they could make differences between nations, for example since germany (by my suggestion/idea) has a heavy tank 1 hitting gun the americans should get something like the jackson and the soviets like an SU-122, where the SU-122 has heavy tank armor but if penetrated is 1 shot by all heavy tank guns, to not make it too strong, and the jackson would be faster yk medium tank speed, but would only have medium tank armor, or slightly worse, the germans on the other hand could get the stuig which would be the medium tank version of a 1 tapping machine, capable of 1 shotting a medium for the price of a medium, but also once again itself being weaker and having lesser-ish armor aswell. This would be a good point to mention that i dont play the game nor do I own it, just the balancing spiked an interest to propose a potential option for the Tiger to be comparable (or just better lol) than the panther and some other balancing ideas around that.
One time I got into a head on tank duel with another medium tank. Both of our dumbasses were firing HE rounds at one another for like 2 minutes. Unfortunately, the enemy tank realized our mistake just a moment sooner than I did and won the face off.
Recon vehicle gameplay, shows competent enemy tank crews, Light tanks shows single man tank crews. I think the 75 jumbo and Tiger should be given the ability to destroy fortifications with a certian number of HE, at least then they would have some viability, and it would make sense with the 75 having smoke.
dude the sherman from fury it's a sherman easy 8 the one on hell let loose is the new jumbo that finally recive the long awaited 76 mm gun that came in 1945 along with the easy 8 but i 'd really like if the devs could ad the m26 pershing in the game that tank it's 10 times better than the jumbo 75, FYI the jumbo 76 doesn't have a muzzle brake in the end of the barril.
Fun fact: the M79 AP is just a solid round, no explosive filler or whatever, its uncapped, not even have penetration cap or ballistic cap, the M61 APCBC, armor piercing capped ballistic capped, have both of those plus HE filler with more penetration, Luchs never used the 20mm KwK 30, it used the 20mm KwK 38 which had almost double the fire rate and they had something called PzGr. 40 HVAP rounds with around 50-ish mm of penetration, API it shots are barely around 38mm of penetration, the 50mm gun on the Sd.Kfz 234/2 Puma fires the PzGr. 39 APC round, its a penetration capped APHE round around 100mm of penetration, maybe a bit less The point i try to make is while HLL is a very good game, realistic and all, its tank combat sucks, oh how much it does, Enlisted, while not quite like HLL, got the tank combat miles better. I for one would try to make a mix between Red Orchestra 2's quality features like the interior of the tank + Enlisted's tanking mechanics. Ah, just ignore my ranting, its just my honest opinion to be fair
that requires team work which is hard to do a lot of the time. But i've seen competetive players absolutely dominate in pairs so I don't doubt the strategy
I was in a duo Stuart as we had been having a hard time with Sherman’s (lost 3 to a panther) and we decide to just fuck it and run into the back lines. We come across the back end of a tiger and put two AP right into the back of it. Boom.
I never played HLL, only watched a couple of videos but doesn't the Tiger have better side armor than the Panther? I didn't hear you talk about it so it's not a thing in this game perhaps? Then I think it could be a nice feature to balance the Tiger and Panther.
Yea the Tiger have 82mm RHA on the sides while the Panther, depends on the variant, D and A have more angled but hardly making difference 40mm RHA, while G variant have less angled but 50mm RHA, also unlike the D and A variant the lower frontal plate is 10mm less armor, only 50mm RHA and the gun mantlet is 10mm thicker than D and A variant and different bottom part to prevent the rounds bounce into the hull, the mantlet of the G variant is 110mm opposed to their 100mm
lol i just wanna know one thing about 6 months ago me and cousin jumped into a M3 stuart light tank with the 37mm cannon, as Driver i maneuvered behind a german Panzer III L and my cousin opened fire at a range of 100 meters, putting 37mm cannon shells into the back of its turret and engine bay, it did absolutely nothing after eating around 8 shells to armor weak spots, then it turned around and one shotted us, pretty sure had been playing any other tank game like war thunder that III L should of been as good as dead.
Its funny that Tiger and Panther suppose to be the same size and Panther is slightly lighter. And Panther is designated as Medium Tank with 80mm of frontal armor. Has great Frontal armor and questionable side armor.
i want Vichy France and Italy added with the commonwealth update with north african maps, so we can really have a world war, not just everybody vs the germans in europe like every other ww2 game
I don't have anywhere near the experience, but it's something I'd do more of, PS tanks are soooooooooooo much better imo, in terms of variety, physics, and the fact you can stick ur head out of the cupola which was so cool last time I used them. Also have one of my favourite tanks the Panzer IVH
15:40 really bad gunner. exactly. i was in a sherman 75, on our ass like 20m away tiger appeared, everybody bailed but i stayed and did some damage. he was horrible, he missed first shot, second shot destroyed treads, he missed FOUR next shot from 20!!!M, then he hit my ass and i died. but meanwhile i destroyed treads, destroyed turret, and packed like 2 effective shots in rear. i dont know how he took that long to kill me
Heard you say it at least three times so I know it's not a mistake but a learned phrase so it is Disrupt. Dis-Rupt. There's no extra 'T' thrown in there (heard @ 0:18 and 1:51 for context). @Terza Divisione Katyusha First off, yes the Slugger and the Jackson are the same tank destroyer just with different nicknames. And no, only a single "Super Pershing" ever set foot in Europe. Even the 90mm gun of the Pershing struggled against the Tiger II, hence why the Super Pershing was given a 73 caliber gun.
@@terzadivisionekatyusha6511 IS-2 was not made for bunker busting. I think you confused it with the KV-2. The 1944 IS-2 with the angled front could be added and It would be a different enough tank than the IS-1.
From sombody called Tanktwo, i expected you to not reffer to the Armoured cars as tanks.
I know they're different, just refered to them as tanks for simplicity reaosns

I found you on rising storm Vietnam two steam pages ages ago good to see your still uploading
throw back to a couple days ago I was able to commanded the funniest crew. We became a tank ace in a single life and stayed in the same Panther the entire game.
I had one game recorded where we had 3 panthers, a Panzer IV and a recon tank in one game.
I was one of the Panther
The enemy basically had no more tank crews cause they had enough getting blown up.
It was us versus an army of Anti Tank rocket guys.
Possibly one of the best game I ever had.
Once a rocket flies by.
I just reverse to face that direction and 4-5 more rockets goes towards the front of the panther and bounces.
Same on Panzer IV. The front of that tank bounces rockets all day.

the best part is when u just stand beside and look at them, beautiful

the sound track goes absolutely hard
I would honestly hope that they add in TDs at one point bc it would be funny to actually use a Ferdinand. One can hope
The driver would kill himself before ever seeing an enemy😂
I'll be surprised if there's one content update this year.
@@Aqueox I bet they’ll drop the British this year
JUMBO 75.
It is classified as an “assault tank”, basically an up-armored medium that’s meant to survive heavy tank shots.
That’s it. That’s it’s one purpose. Survive heavy tank shots as a medium.
doesn't apply in this game unfortunately
Incorrect, in reality they were made to support infantry not eat heavy tank shots.
Very good video! Quick correction though, the tiger was front penned by normal 75mm shermans on multiple occasions (not frequent but possible).
Tiger 131 was knocked out by a lucky 6pdr shot
No it wasn't
-Had the best games in the Luchs. Its really a hit or miss.
-75 Jumbo should respawn automaticly after 10ish minutes and also not at the start of the game.
-Recon tanks are the most fun to use. The russian one is for what ever reason the worst recon. I hate it.
-Panther...
I find the luchs situational, it can absolutely dominate, but can also be completely useless in other situations. Agree on the jumbo, they should also buff the amount of smoke rounds it gets to be on par with the medium sherman. The BA-10 has that weird lag effect the half track does making it handle so weirdly
reload time of panther is no longer 6 secs
Stuart, when used properly, is the 2nd best tank in the game. Good list!
@@poliznia oh shit yeah I forgot! The firefly has already been comformed any. Good shout

one of the best games ever
The panther reload speed got nerfed to be like the other heavies a while back. Still a great tank, though.
they cut it's balls off
All tanks S tier when used right.
The pumas gun doesn't really matter since it's based on the class, that being recon tanks can destroy heavy tanks only if it's 4 shots to the rear, otherwise it'll richochet no matter what
@@Tantwo ah I see. That would be a difficult change for me, considering i would be coming from warthunder
loved playing the games together especially in some of the clips! keep up the good work
Note for the new tankers, you can absolutely use recons to wipe tanks on the enemy team. BUT you need to hold your shot until your within 10 meters and on their ass. You want to ass ride them as they turn, they will never be able to get you.
Finally , My favourite section , TANKS !!!
I love tanks
I highly agree with the stuart. There is nothing better than bullying tigers and panthers with the green small boi
Great HLL vid mate!!🫡🫡
thanks mate!
@@Tantwo no problem brother 🫡
Puma is the best vehicle hands down I've two manned and three manned pumas and just ruined the enemy team by running around their back lines destroying heavy tanks and garrisons
Don’t want the jumbo 75 to get replaced. They should just add the other tank suggestions without replacing it. The jumbos played a big role in real life and I think it’s pretty fun to roll in one every now and then.
The Il2 music sent me back real quick ❤
as a battlefield v player i can say that was really informative
I've 1600 hrs on HLL. Since the last update, whenever I fire my mg as the driver in all tanks, the tank jumps into neutral gear, meaning I can't move and shoot at the same time. Any ideas how to solve this, guys?
Sounds like a keybinding problem. Reset your bindings to default maybe?
The jumbo's role had an offical name it was "Assault tank" because the american supply did not see a need for a larger gun since in the actual war the American tank crews encountered Tigers 3 times in Europe there was not a real need for a larger gun.
The americans encountered many tigers. You might be thinking of the Tiger II's.
@@kingchirpa I am not. The British were in control of the majority of sectors where heavy tank battalions operated. There are only 3-4 known engagements of Americans VS Tigers. Plenty of panthers were encountered in France though.
Bro the IL-2 music was so nostalgic
had a game in the British light tank were I got around 40 to 60 kills by watching the Bridge and moving to different positions so it was harder for them to kill us, even at one point we pretended to be dead or abandoned and whenever I got the chance to kill someone I did.
I like the T-70 light the most only because it kicks the ass of and Stuart viewing port
No wonder why I keep getting requests to get 76 jumbo and Panther when playing as the commander
nice video, hell let loose has been updated and they were adding some new tanks for british faction. im waiting for your new content👍
thanks man, I used the churchill for the first time I find it much better than the firefly
Huh.The difference between the hll puma and the warthunder puma is astonishing
You know what surprises me is is that you are not allowed to use the 105 jumbo
always loved getting to fight in tanks, ive struggled when they made them all less maneuverable
dude the sherman from fury it's a sherman easy 8 the one on hell let loose is the new jumbo that finally recive the long awaited 76 mm gun that came in 1945 along with the easy 8 but i 'd really like if the devs could ad the m26 pershing in the game that tank it's 10 times better than the jumbo 75, FYI the jumbo 76 doesn't have a muzzle brake in the end of the barril.
39 APC round, its a penetration capped APHE round around 100mm of penetration, maybe a bit less
The point i try to make is while HLL is a very good game, realistic and all, its tank combat sucks, oh how much it does, Enlisted, while not quite like HLL, got the tank combat miles better.
I for one would try to make a mix between Red Orchestra 2's quality features like the interior of the tank + Enlisted's tanking mechanics.
Ah, just ignore my ranting, its just my honest opinion to be fair
Panther > Tiger pog good list :)
That panther WWE meme was accurate af
Fun fact, a Sherman with a 75 can pen a tiger from around a little over 100 meters
At first I am very exited for the africa corps, but i hope so much, that they will bring in the pacific war.
Nice video.
Smoke in the sherman and jumbo is way to underated in battles.
Two tanks 1 smoke 1 kills
that requires team work which is hard to do a lot of the time. But i've seen competetive players absolutely dominate in pairs so I don't doubt the strategy
I now use Stuart more than 76, so much better at f'ing up infantry and will fuc up a panther easily with patience.
stuart is just a fun tank to use, i found out if you turn a certain way you can drift with it
I was in a duo Stuart as we had been having a hard time with Sherman’s (lost 3 to a panther) and we decide to just fuck it and run into the back lines.
Just saw this video, a year after publication. What about a new one? Some tanks have had buffs and so on. Also the British are in the game now!
lol i just wanna know one thing about 6 months ago me and cousin jumped into a M3 stuart light tank with the 37mm cannon, as Driver i maneuvered behind a german Panzer III L and my cousin opened fire at a range of 100 meters, putting 37mm cannon shells into the back of its turret and engine bay, it did absolutely nothing after eating around 8 shells to armor weak spots, then it turned around and one shotted us, pretty sure had been playing any other tank game like war thunder that III L should of been as good as dead.
Well seeing as how hell let loose doesn't have a panzer 3 we have no idea wtf game you were playing
ok i missed identified the panzer that was on the road behind a stack of bushes....what Panzers are in the game? @@rc5924
Its funny that Tiger and Panther suppose to be the same size and Panther is slightly lighter.
And Panther is designated as Medium Tank with 80mm of frontal armor. Has great Frontal armor and questionable side armor.
Just went on a 156 player kill streak in the heavy panther
Holy shit il 2 1946 music, big w
11:58 And on that point i can't give a thumps up anymore. I had no idea people still believes that myth.
Tbh nowadays anytime I see a hame with the soviets it’s always “T-34-85”
I’ve never seen anyone give the KV series any love.
Well in this game it’s the early variant of the T-34 not the 85
As an anti armor infantry its pretty east to get around tanks no matter the tank it just matters if you are fear them
sometimes I run at them with my medkit to mess with them
Last night got a 30 kill streak with the Stuart and I only used the drivers .50😂
i want Vichy France and Italy added with the commonwealth update with north african maps, so we can really have a world war, not just everybody vs the germans in europe like every other ww2 game
Wait, can the Luchs really not kill a heavy tank from behind? I once took an M4 Sherman down with a full mag and a partial bit of another one...
Do a PS tank tier list.
I don't have anywhere near the experience, but it's something I'd do more of, PS tanks are soooooooooooo much better imo, in terms of variety, physics, and the fact you can stick ur head out of the cupola which was so cool last time I used them. Also have one of my favourite tanks the Panzer IVH
did just the engine from the tiger broke on its way to the list?
11:53 ever heard of the Pz1?
15:40 really bad gunner. exactly. i was in a sherman 75, on our ass like 20m away tiger appeared, everybody bailed but i stayed and did some damage. he was horrible, he missed first shot, second shot destroyed treads, he missed FOUR next shot from 20!!!M, then he hit my ass and i died. but meanwhile i destroyed treads, destroyed turret, and packed like 2 effective shots in rear. i dont know how he took that long to kill me
Tank gaming is peak
it's fun, but could definetly see some improvements
I like all the light tanks because I can run it better as a solo then I can in a trio.
did you see the clip of nano killing a panther with a stuart
The 75 M4 should have better anti infantry capabilities, as its HE shell was more effective than even that of the 90mm M3 gun.
Heard you say it at least three times so I know it's not a mistake but a learned phrase so it is Disrupt. Dis-Rupt. There's no extra 'T' thrown in there (heard @ 0:18 and 1:51 for context). I'm Aussie too so I know how bad the schooling system is so this is just a day to learn the word the correct way! Great video and I only wish there were more vehicles in HLL. Any variety to the gameplay is a benefit.
Nobody talking about how the panther is a medium in the heavy list?
THE 75 SHERMAN IS S TIER ITS GODLY ALL YOU NEED IS 5 FRIENDLY TANKS SQUADS AND 1 ENEMY ONE AND YOU'RE GOLDEN
I wish the IS-1 got it's 122mm gun to counter it's weak armor and mobility, that'd be funny i think.
The T70 can drive over EVERYTHING.
hell let loose gunplay + post scriptum sounds and tanks = perfect game
The m24 chaffee is not in hell let loose?
