    Thanks for the tips Mike! Personally I don’t like the top mount locking nuts. I always get Warmoth to do mounting holes from the back of the neck! I like where you can make small side to side adjustments. Thanks again Mike for sharing! Rock on my brother!!🤘🏻

      I agree with you…. I just like the strength of the top mount. Side to side travel is nice to have.

    I love this video...I had 2 of the GL 200 MTs and they were awesome after swapping out the Floyd Rose to a German made one and a real Floyd nut like you did here.. and to a SH-13 Dimebucker.
    Makes me want to buy another one.

    The Duncan Custom is a great pickup... just pick which particular magnet you want. I like the Alnico V and the original thin Ceramic. Want to try an Alnico 8 (Custom 8).

    Hard to believe this still is an issue in 2024? Why these companies don't purposely cut the nutshelf low I'll never understand? That way all you have to do is shim it to the height you want!

    • @40gritguitars
      @40gritguitars  4 місяці тому +1

      Or just cut it a bit high… sand to correct height and no shim!
