I cant say for certain because I didn’t test it but if you do you definitely shouldn’t substitute it 1:1. That is too much protein powder and would change the texture 30-45g could maybe do the trick but make sure you use the parchment because it will get stickier
"Not bragging but if any hot ladies are watching".... 🤣 Dude props for taking the shot! Side note I got a bunch of freeze dried fruit. If I make this with those any suggestions? Pre hydrate the fruit? Use more Liquid in the batter? Things like that?
Agreed but sometimes the large volume of food gets more clicks. UA-cam lets you A/B test thumbnails now so there are three being run, we’ll see which one wins out haha
Yeah I think regular wheat flour would be even better for getting some more lift too because of the gluten. Unfortunately this is the curse I have been subjected to 🫠
Moving out on my own in a week and I'm going try this.
GOOD LUCK!! Getting Snack City set up right away is a great start!

Can you do a version that uses protein mix and is baked?
This is awesome. Going to have to try these!
great recipie! can we replace the milk powder with protein powder?
Good question, I'm curious too
Exactly what I was thinking LOL

Great recipe, Josh!
I already have Kodiak Cake mix.
I'm thinking about how to add more protein to the batter, but still keep the product fluffy-ish.
How do they perform in taste compared to the protein pancakes?
Been getting take out and junk food WAY too much. What snack city should I start with?
the baked oatmeal with chocolate chips and banana is really good
The chicken strips or popcorn chicken 100% imo
can i use something else for the cottage cheese
No I doubt it. It’s the number one ingredient in this recipe. Swapping it would completely change everything
the plated close-ups look way more appealing than the vacuum sealed pic in the thumbnail

Why cant you just toast the pancakes
You mean to reheat? You could
I mean TBH I do actually think the hot ladies would be impressed with even pancake batter distribution. I know I am!
Only time will tell
Can I get away with "sheet panning" the original recipe? I quite liked it and don't mind getting protein powder in
No I tried it and it is a complete disaster. Didn’t cook right and literally glues itself to the pan
Too bad you have a gluten allergy. Vital wheat gluten could take the protein even further in this recipe
