  • The weather was great so it was time to go shopping! I went to 2 different flea markets in PA- sooo many miles driven, and so little brought back with me LOL But it was a fun morning for sure- I saw a ton of great vintage/antiques, visited a few regular vendors, saw Paper and Moose in action, and met a nice couple who follow me on youtube who tried to sell me their leftover skillets (JK, I should have bought that Birdsboro 5! lol) Sorry for the long video, I was so into it that I forget the camera is on sometimes!

      @@castironkev That flea market was huge. I was surprised there wasn’t more tables with cast iron. It’s getting more difficult to find good pieces. When you do find some beautiful pieces the prices can be high. Even rusty crusty pieces can be pricey. Anyway, I enjoyed the flea market video. So much fun to anticipate finding cast iron. Treasure hunting!

      Yup! I share some "territories" with several UA-camrs, and was lucky enough to meet a few and even befriend a couple. Obviously I'm not on the same level as far as subscribers or video quality, but we all share the same passion for saving usable history and making a few bucks along the way 🍳🍳

    • @castironkev
      @castironkev  3 роки тому +2

      There are ways of welding it, but it can get pricey to do it the right way (food safe). Spending 40$ to fix a pan that sells for 30$ is bad for business 🤣🤣

    So tired of the ebay pricing at fleas... If they want to sell things for ebay pricing in that volume, go get dinged for the 15% off the top and then pay the IRS and see where the reality sets...
