Back in the late 50's,early 60 my Grandpa would take out livestock to Leesport on Wed. to have it auctioned. The market was basically fresh farm produce at that time. Very little flea market stuff. The out back area wasn't developed at that time. Grandpa would buy us Hot Dogs, loaded and Root Beer. I was 7.8..years old. Grandpa passed in 65. Thanks for the memory.
What a great memory of your Grandpa and childhood! Ohhh, I can just imagine how good that root beer was back then, not just brown sugar water!
Nativity sets I have a large set it was made in 60s thru early 70s hand painted by Grandmother and my Mother it is a wonderful Memory to think of all the Years that have come and gone . It is a great family item to pass down in my family I have no kids but it will live on with my Brothers two Girls . Keep Going Taco may you and yours have a Great and Blessed day
Yes Taco! Please go to Brimfield! I have always wanted to go to that market! It would be fun to see it through your eyes!
‘The Sun will come up eventually’ Words to live by.
Hi Taco! You found some great stuff today! I agree about the gun box being a good display case. It’s in good shape too. I know you felt kinda sorry for the lady when you bought the nativity set, but in her eyes, you’re a hero! The produce looked so good! I’m now hungry for banana bread after seeing yours! Lol. Good job today! I never get tired of any of your videos! Blessings to you and Salsa! ❤️✝️
Good day at flea market. I like how different you two are at street scrapping and at flea markets.
Great finds! That produce looks so good! So jealous of that Pyrex find I haven’t been able to find that design at a flea market yet
Thanks for sharing this with us injoyed the flea market finds good stuff 👍👌✌🏻
You found some good things today. I love walking around flea markets. Love trash picking but great to see other things too.
Good morning Taco. The pyrex, the air plane and the trading cards are great finds. The produce stand has some good looking fruits and vegetables ☺️. I have enjoyed this video. Take care Taco and Salsa.
Thanks for being a fan and thanks for being here for me on UA-cam i really appreciate your love and support thanks for all the comments stay bless. Try to contact me through my personal email iprincefazza38@gmail
I probably have a lid for that Pyrex dish !! I went to an estate sale a few years ago and they had a box of just lids. I bought it because someone is always looking for those !
Good afternoon Taco. We're those Chambersburg peaches, they looked very nice. Have some sitting on my counter for a pie. Nice finds today. Late watching today, busy in kitchen cooking wedding soup. Take care.
Love flees markets. You got some cool stuff. I think the banana bread is my favorite. Lol love it. That Pyrex bowl is hard to find. Good buy. Thanks for sharing and taking us along. 🥰
Almost 300k subscribers! Good showing Taco.
Thank you so much for taking us along today!!! To the flea/ farmers market !!! That banana chocolate chip bread looked amazing !!!
Cool flea market finds Taco
My nephew once bought a superman comic for £26 at the flea market and sold it for a couple hundred , it's worth looking around , and have a look at items wanted lists ,
Yes, Please go to the Brimfield Antique Flea Market, take P & M along with you!!
Received my t- shirt today. Thank you so much. It looks awesome.
The milk carafes you were looking at, I love those for settling on the supper table for iced tea refills!!!!
That sunrise reminded me of fishing w my husband. Up by 3am... I'm asleep in the car by 0430.
They always sell really cool things over there . I never see number plates over here I would love an American one
I got a couple on eBay sent to Ireland but they are pricey 20 quid or thereabouts 🙂
Thank you for the great video, Taco! It was incredible looking through all of the awesome old stuff! The very large model plane was just plain beautiful! I don't know what it's worth, if anything. But, what a cool model. It looked like it was from the late 1950s, too. The $2 wooden display case was another find. Yes, I'd also try and take out that wood insert. Making sure that all the wood stain matches, putting in those little lights that are for sale and someone would have a great display for Christmas. The extremely long saw that was for sale looked awesome. It'd look great over a fireplace, or a doorway and could also save it's owner some bucks if they had to get rid of an inconvenient tree or two! Thanks again. All the Best!
Peaches looked delicious!!! You didn’t get any 🌽? My fav thing in the summer! Great video stay cool hugs for Salsa! 🥰
That was really enjoyable.Relaxed and peaceful
Rene LOVES nativity sets.
Now I've got a hankerin' for some banana bread. That looks yummy!
Pennsylvania peaches? That is exciting, legit.
The fact that you can go out at the crack of dawn is why I have so much admiration for you. I am a night person, getting up before 10am is for the birds.
I can function if I have to get up earlier, but when I worked at Disneyland as a tour guide in the 70's I always chose the night shifts during summer and holidays
because my internal clock just worked that way, I just couldn't function earlier. Now at the age of 70 nothing has changed, fortunately I married a wonderful
man who is the same way. You are so determined and committed, I admire you Taco. Oh, BTW, how is Salsa? Haven't seen her for a long time, hope she's okay!
Such great shows keep them up.
Nice Taco Peace ☮️
So many great treasures at the flea market 😊. Funny you mentioned about when you were a kid you wished you had of appreciated things more;, my husband and I were just talking about collections of things that we had or wanted as a kid and wished that we could have those things again now for those prices from back then. It would be great.
Anyway thanks Taco Stacks 👍🙂
Excellent finds! Thank you for taking me along! Be safe out there!
Just a recommendation: I would not take the gun case apart, let the buyer decide what to do with it.
Nice finds
That B-29 is a Monogram model from the 1980's-I built one back then, when I was in the USAF
Another fun video. Thanks. ☺️☺️☺️
Love flea markets! You got some good stuff.
Maybe give the nativity set to Paper Stacks
15:00 to quote Taco, “That’s bananas”
loved the pilgrims and the easter bunny statues
WOW all of the fruit and veggies looked like they are on steroids!😳. Yummy 🤤
Happy you picked up the Pyrex large bowl! $35-40 online I saw...the pewter is very nice! What a nice flea market!
You can almost always bent pewter with your bare hands. Where as aluminum will not bend.
I love when you grab something healthy to eat 💚💚💚
Have you ever thought if doing the 127 yard sale? It 690 miles long and goes thru 6 states.
OMG Taco Stacks a Fantastic Fleamarket adventure. The Nativity bundle is a Marvelous buy. Hugs and kisses for Queen Salsa and Queen Gracie. GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT CONTENT. THUMBS-UP ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!
Fun day ✌🏻
Hey Taco, you don’t have to justify everything you buy. If you like something, if it speaks to you in a certain way, then go ahead and buy it. That airplane is pretty cool, and that’s a good enough reason to buy it.
Yes 👍🏻 go to Brimfield in Sept., bring Renee ! You’ll be amazed by it all, such a fun time and spend a couple days to see “some” of it!
Give salsa a slice of peach ☮️💜
Now I want banana bread.... Love display cases.......You should do well on the cards....a lot of people are selling by the piece....I always wanted to go to Brimfield ....Ever since I watched the show Flea Market Flip....
Flea market Flip!
Rene has a good collection of nativity.
Looks like the propellers are missing from your B-29 bomber.
Fun time! Some nativity pieces can bring good money, especially the Italy ones!
I love banana bread. I just made some for my daughters birthday. I frost it with butter cream frosting
Milyen nagy piac.szuper.dolgok 👍
Milyen aranyosak ázok a szobrok
the skeleton warrior cards go for $9.99-11.00 if full and 1 went for $8.99 best offer
The gun display box is probably to display an old musket type pistol? The handle/trigger on the left and barrel in the slot.
Great Video!
I can only what grandparents were like, hear stories from older siblings. Mine were deceased before I was born, all but 1 grandmother which never had anything do with us kids growing up. Sad
They'll likely have to try and sell those blow molds on Marketplace. Enjoyed this, as Flea Markets aren't plentiful here in our area. Thanks for taking us along. 👍🐾🐾
Find out more about the airplane you bought - even though there might be some parts missing that wouldn't matter to a collector if the airplane is rare. Let us know what you find out about it.
What a great flea market! Thanks for sharing with us!
Hi T, I enjoy the flea market as much as trash picking. It's interesting looking at what people are selling, I would be buying craft stuff without a doubt. I remember you going to one place were the craft items were really cheap & wishing I was there 😁. Have a great day, till next time 💛🧡❤️xx
Yum
Nice intro shot!
Fun!
Liked those vintage "Plasticville" buildings which went with Lionel Trains. Had those as a young guy on the traditional Christmas Layout. Neat that a couple had the original boxes. Have seen soooooo many of those "silver" university mugs, with the glass bottom.
If you clip your camera to a backpack strap slung over your shoulder , no one even sees the camera , I've seen others do it 🙂👍
Pewter vs aluminum. The weight gives it away if nothing else. Pewter is a heckuva lot thicker, unless the aluminum piece is trench art or something else exotic. The nativity set is a mixed combo for sure. If you have two Josephs, one Mary and five donkeys... it's not unusual.(LOL)
I agree‼️
The case could have been used to display a handgun, like an old revolver?
I was hoping you’d show us the airplane ✈️, it looks like the one my Dad and I saw. WW 11 plane
The gun box is already a display case for a pistol.
My daughter started collecting Pyrex and of course she picked Crazy Daisy and I can't find any of it for her. I think the other pattern you are talking about has butterflies in with the flowers. At least that's what she told me lol
I have that bowl and pattern . I got the set for my bridal shower and that was over 40 years ago
Brimfield is huge and packed with goodies bro! If you brought "higherish" end stuff up there you'd do very well- I'll be selling there next season for sure 🍳🍳
Gun case was a good buy. You couldn't even buy the wood for the 2 dollars.
Gidday Taco you were talking of pewter etc besides that there is something called spelter that usually come out of England, I think, it is a silvery metal and soft actually a combo of metals usually made into statues, breaks easily.
The mirror at 10.38 - St Austell Brewery. That is from Cornwall, England , near where I lived many years ago - wonder how it got to Penn.?
Love the nativity stuff!💜
That display case looks more like a sword case to me. A short sword with curved blade would look sweet in it
Good deal Taco
My flea was a total bust last week, high prices and my favorite vendor didn't show. Now I have to wait till next year. Had a chance to buy an ancient giant nativity, but squirrels had wrecked it.
Looks like a B-29 bomber. Probably a model kit. Parts missing, but I would have bought it too. I'm an airplane geek 🤓
Spring Blossom (443 ?) should bring you at least $10 minimum. Crazy Daisy is it’s nic name. Love me some Pink Pyrex most of all!
I wish I had seen this before now. I would like to have that pewter.
I’m always impressed with how much you know about Pyrex. I feel like your mom taught you something about it or else you did your own research. Maybe a bit of both.
I loved another one of your videos. I love the gun case and that plane. And those yummy looking peaches. I would love to have a good ripe to over ripe peach. Not a mushy bruised up peace of not good junk that has been frozen and put out to for fresh. I want some blueberry bushes. I love them even more than peaches. Thanks for taking me along. Stay well sweety. ❤️😘💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌞🌷🌺🌻🍓🍒🍎🍉🍑🍊🍌🍋🍐🍏🫐🍇🍅🥕🍠🧅🥦🥒🥬🌽🫑🥑🍆🧄🧄🥔🌰🥚🥓🥐🥖🌮🥙🥘🍲🥗🧈🍤🥮🍧🍨🍦🥧🍰🍮🎂🍫🍩🍿☕☕☕☕☕☕🧃🫖🍶
I’d love to go to Brimfield in Massachusetts
Good video. Those nativity statues, please don't toss the chipped pieces. Lots of folks paint the old sets one color and a handy crafter may easily repair the chips with a bit of clay. As for the gun case, removing the barrel support will leave the floor of the case an entirely different color (and some nail holes?). I'd leave it alone and let the buyer decide, if they want a display case, they'll figure it out. Please pass on big hugs and smooches to Salsa girl for me. She's an 'eager to please' sweetie. Thanks for the video. Peace 🕊🙏❤
sell the gun box the way it is and let the person who buys it take that piece out if they want.
as someone just might want/need a gun display case.
Hi Taco! You are my sons age, have a great day. I hope your mom lives close by she can feed you.
i saw 2 vintage table cloths!!!! they sell for a lot
Paper and Moose would like the nativity set matched or not.
I have a bottle collection, now I know where I got the idea to start it from...
Such a nice guy you are. Love your videos, you describe things so well. And, always love your ending of PEACE :):)
Taco, is scrap pewter worth anything? Got a boxful of small cups in a free lot, they are all in bad shape, oval now, not round. Also a lot of silver plated pieces. Where or who would want it, pawn shops do not, Best thing is I also got a Tiffany & Co dresser box in bronze with slag glass behind a filigree design. I've found it from $250-1,200! Mine I'm sure will be on the lower side, not bad for free!, I now know how you feel when you find a score in a free box! . My 4 piece set of Crazy Daisy is the Cinderella bowls, got them in 1975
Don't knock out that 1 piece for a pistol box it needs that .
Doing the Trunk or Brimfield this year?
Dear Taco Stacks: I live fairly close in a town north of the Broad Mountain known as Shenandoah.
