Interesting idea of using the opponent force against them, your body momentum was like a penjulim bouncing the person pulling you. This is awesome information, thanks Sifu Nima!
Trying our best to continue the work of Ip Man, Chu Shong Tin, and those who were the real deal and dedicated their lives to Wing Chun. And yeah unfortunately there are a lot of Wing Chun teachers who shouldn't be teaching...
Actually last week we had a message from someone who invited one of my students for a sparring session when they visit Hong Kong in December. He does boxing I think. So hopefully he's a good level and it looks good and we can film it and post it up.
@@MindfulWingChun really interesting, hopefully there is no comment "the opponent doesn't have skill or so" i hate ppl still skeptical even there is a prove
@@MindfulWingChun that's great, I've sparred boxers and a mate that Thai boxed myself in the past and it was always scrappy although I did land shots at times and the straight punches worked OK against the Thai boxing mate. I was hit with left hooks and some low kicks to the thigh, but it wasn't all bad. I'm not expecting it to look good and wouldn't rubbish it if you put it up, that's an arse hole's trick n I ain't one of those dick heads. Hitting focus mitts would be a good one to see as well. We used to do line up stuff like Geoff Thompson did, that was good, this was mid nineties so things were different then. I enjoy the Vids you put up, they're really interesting and you have a good way of teaching, your manner is excellent. I wish my instructors had been more like that instead of narcissistic bullies.
@@tirshawinata1058 That's fine if they do. Such is the way of the internet. No matter who is on there and what the video is about there will always be someone that's going to disagree 😊
Hi Nima, I understand that in CST wing chun you don't know the specific thing that gives the power up the spine. But I've recently comes across fascia training, glute strength which some argue creates extreme power. Some, like coach chong, use this approach for his UFC fighter. You ever heard of this?
Hi Akbar, I definitely think that fascia has a lot to do with the way we produce for each in CST Wing Chun. The more I read into Tensegrity, the more I believe that us the case.
hello nima, i'm trying to understand the real "taigong" and i was thinking ... is it possible to be in that state of perception and relaxation while lying belly up? in fact the spine extends in that position and there is no problem of tension, thanks! I still can't feel the extended front muscles at the same time as the relaxed rear ones, I'm working on it!
Hi Luigi, yes its possible in all positions in including laying down. Some find it easiest to feel and apply when sitting upright on a stool and trying to raise up one knee at a time. give that a go and hope it helps.
@@MindfulWingChun I'm in the USA (NC area). I don't teach formally but have been training for 15 years under a Sifu who was trained by a private disciple of Sifu Duncan Leung (a Kung Fu brother of CST as I'm sure you are aware). My plan is to train Wing Chun until my body tells me otherwise 😀. Appreciate the content and if I'm ever on your side of the world it would be nice to visit.
@@learningwithiyam731 That's great! and yeah I plan the same re doing Wing until my body says otherwise 😊 And I hope our paths do cross and pls do hit me up if you're ever in Hong Kong. 🙏

glad you enjoyed it and could see the transference of force 👍
I think this is call 寸勁 of wing chun, chun king , that means you can use strength within one inch, Bruce Lee always said about this
👍🙏
Hi, Not easy to understand with that video, another angle?
👍will need to redo it from anotjer angle as there was only one camera set up in this seminar
Thank you for saving WING CHUN from shipful of fake Sifus.🙏🙏🙏

Another good video, is there any live sparring Vids? I realise how scrappy sparring using wing chun is and looks, would be interesting to see

Thanks for sharing sir! Always good to look at various approaches to Wing Chun to enhance what works for you. Very good information here!
My pleasure Lyam, thanks for that. Where abouts are you based? you also teach Wing Chun?
