    Like always great info. The fun part is trying to apply the method.

    I think people will either see this and love it or just not get it at all, which is all personal opinion, I love it by the way, I'm doing other arts now but I still love this type of stuff

    • @MindfulWingChun

      Yes exactly. Many won't get what he's on about and will have one glance and say that this old man would get taken out by a bjj blue belt, or that he can't fight his way out of a paper bag etc. And some others who do Wing Chun will say its too complicated or not real etc. these are some comment feedbacks from those who don't get it.
      But those of you who get it really appreciate the simple yet profound method of body control in movements and love it, as you said 🙏🏼😊

    Would like to experience the feeling of forward intent. Can this feeling be applied as well in sparring ?

    He uses his whole body as a lever, instead of just using his arm as lever. Is that correctly understood?

    • @MindfulWingChun
      @MindfulWingChun  4 роки тому +4

      Yes that's correct Mike. There are other things at play too like multi-vector forces created through individual yet simultaneous joint control, mass mobilization etc.

    I have a quick question I was wondering how long every day you would practice The Sin Nim Tao Sequence?

    • @MindfulWingChun
      @MindfulWingChun  4 роки тому +2

      Back in the day (before I had kids) I did at least 3hours of SNT and a couple of hours of other WC training. These days thats been cut into half. But, I should that that the QUALITY of practice is so much more important than the quantity.
      This is why I out the online school together so that I can, in very great detail, pass on the step by step teachings of Chun Shong Tin so that people can ensure they are practicing correctly and improve the quality of the training to ensure best results. 👍🏼

    Does meditation help? And did you do it to train to get to the level your at?

    • @MindfulWingChun
      @MindfulWingChun  4 роки тому +1

      Yes meditation definitely helps (not only for this method of practice but for life in general). I've been meditating for nearly as long as I've been practicing Wing Chun. I highly recommend it

    mindful Wing Chun I made up my mind I'm going to learn Sanda and JKD instead of Wing Chun because MMA is not suited for Wing Chun before Sunda and JKD I have seen there are many rules that restrict some martial arts for some other martial arts on a custom 2 MMA so thank you

    • @truthhurts1884
      @truthhurts1884 4 роки тому +7

      If all you want to learn in Martial Arts is to break stuff, then internal and traditional arts aren't for you, you should absolutely go to an MMA class.
      If however, you want to learn about self discipline, inner peace and health/relaxation and become more than the breaker of stuff, stick with the internal arts and you'll never regret it.

      Good that you have made up your mind. My recommendation is to make the training part of your daily life as that is a great way to get good in it. Wish you great success in your journey 🙏🏼
