Hello Sir, can you confirm whether the wring can be routed from the head tube just like how it is managed in the Trek AL2 gen4.
Finally you have considered my comments, instead of polygon the Marlin is best. As an Indian I always respect our companies, so marlin should consider point to have the wiring from the head tube integrated which will improve the look with performance.
The bike lacks durability it's primarily for aesthetics. One of my cycling friend bought a Marlin Rs 18 about two months ago, and just yesterday, the bike's carbon fork broke.

@@santanadebbarma5885 Yeah, they ended up replacing it with a new Control Tech carbon fork (Generic), which was unexpected for both of us. Since there weren't any other options available, my friend decided to go with it. The new fork feels solid and actually performs better than the original one. Now, my friend is thinking about getting another bike, from trek or merida, and using the marlin specifically for training sessions
@@santanadebbarma5885 If you're thinking about buying a road bike, then go with reputable brands like decathlon, trek, merida, scott, specialized, cannondale, etc. But I believe that choosing a bike from decathlon is the best option because their after sales service is good

Nice review! This is a good bike. There is one more Indian brand - Convolution Bikes. They provide a customised bike fit and frame for you. You could contact them and see if they can also provide a bike for a review. It would be good to have a comparison between road bikes - Polygon, Marlin, and possibly another brand! Thanks for sharing an unbiased review of this road bike!

You can see paint chipping on the headtube. You can also see a dent on the part between the top tube and the seat tube. Companies must provide better bikes.
Yes they should check these little things. I bought Cradiac alpha pro and there is a small dent on edge of the upper frame which doesn't effect the safety of bike but you don't want to see that on a new bike. Although they have painted over the dent and is not that noticeable but when I slide my hand across the edge I can feel that dent

Detailed review. Is this 11-32? And spoke count? How would you compare RC500 from Decathlon with Marlin RS18? The thru axle is, of course a plus!
Marlin RS18 is definitely higher in terms of Spec and overall frame material and build technique. Thru axle disc brake bikes are more future proof and ready to upgrade, Wheels rolling are great and overall performance is good.
It's 11-28T 20 spokes in front and 24 in rear..

Very strange design, that horizontal top tube resemble old steel bikes. That also mean a very long reach, can be seen from your saddle fully forward position

Java siluro 3 is better buy here. Everything is Identical but frame design and ergonomics are much more towards race fit bike. Also it looks better then this.
Java Siluro 3 is QR based bike with disc, notorious for brake issues, A thru axle frame is far better than any QR based disc bike. Java has heavy wheels and hubs, this one has sealed bearings thru axle high engagement hubs, Java has limited future upgrading capacity while this marlin can be upgraded to highest extents because of Thru Axle frame fork geometry
@@cycleriderroy still there are lot of qr upgrades possible. Cheap to maintain. And anyone buying 10kgs bike won't be upgrading it until and unless a full proof fool he is. Main thing is frame carbon tyres are a lac plus for every brand. No one will get 1 lac wheels for 70k bike. Rest about bearings one can upgrade hubs easily. But while buying new main focus should be when you buying a road bike it should be ergonomically supreme and look and feel racier. May be Banglore valo se paise aye honge but also mention negetive points too. Marlin and java both weighs same btw.

Try getting support from them when your bottom bracket fails. They won't respond and your 1L worth bike would be worth 0.
Merlin on the other hand has okish support.

@@yolo0123 do company offers warranty on bottom brackets? Warranty is only for frame & fork. Get it from a reputated store and enjoy. Have rode 6k so far no issues till date. Haven't faced any issue other then tyres.

All three options are good, marlin rs18 comes with thru axle frame and fork thus more future proof for upgrades
