Just get a road bike and put wider tyres on it. Hybrids are basically useless. Either get a mtb ir a road bike.
last week I did long distance ride (around 480 km in 4 days) with my hybrid bike and it was really comfortable. No back pain, no leg pain ...nothing. Actually I had geared MTB bike but for this long ride, I changed the tires and convert it in to hybrid bike. I also added carrier to carry a small bag with me because I didn't want to carry it on my back. Riding on highway was really fun. We were around 105 people in this group ride, many of them had road bike (without gear) and I found that they are more faster than me. May be my body weight is also playing a role in my speed, so I am reducing my weight to get more speed. Next Diwali, we are planning for more long ride (around 850km in 7 days). So I would like to know if I buy road bike, which one is better, with gear or without gear. Can you suggest any brand with reasonable price with good quality. Thank you...
Yes hybrid tires on MTB bike is super comfortable
Flat bar road bikes are good for beginners,faster than hybrid and very easy to upgrade, and also people like me who like to tweak around a little bit its perfect for me

I have just bought Bergamont Sweep 3i..it is light, lean, with rigid forks, 32C tyres..and gives good speed. I think if I can put a drop bar, it could give me a road bike feel!

@@shubham_joshi might as well want to narrow down the tyres to 25 or 28, 32 is slightly wide for roadbike
