The visibility, the mechanical feel, the old school type of vibe you get with this all weather beast is really, really good. This is a car you can drive basically anywhere no matter the weather conditions, we love them here in MA.
The point you made about the intangibles of certain cars is exactly why I love my STi. It isn't the fastest car in a straight line. It's not the most refined (bare-bones interior); has a boy-racer image; is brash and inefficient, sourcing its power from an outdated, underpowered motor (by today's standards). The steering isn't the heaviest, and it does understeer. But, it's analog and tactile--like you said, having a very old-school feel. It may never be as legendary as a Supra or Skyline, or make power as easily as an LS motor car. But I've found that whenever I take it on a backroad with no-one around and can exist in a vacuum with the car - it has plenty of power, and never disappoints to put a smile on my face. It makes lovely sounds from the UEL headers, rips through 1-3 gear with a power delivery from the turbo that feels like a wave is hurling you forward. I haven't been crazy about the rubbery stock shifter feel, but a (kartboy) shortshift kit makes a world of difference--one of the best I've ever driven. In a way, the STi embodies the epitome of slow-car-fast. It's enough to excite, but not too much to endanger. It's short gearing can be tiresome, but can be equally enjoyable when ringing it out to ~7000rpm. Fantastic machine. And excellent review.
You said all my friend! It is not only a question of quantitative evaluation, but a qualitative one of the experience of drive. Like most of the things that really matter in life. They are not just made up of numbers.

What an absolutely excellent review. The good, the bad and the ugly - all explained about as honestly as I've seen from any reviewer ... ever. Your conclusion was heartfelt and personal, delivered in a way that I think most real track-day enthusiasts could connect with. Nice work!
This may have been commented on somewhere else previously, but I think your POV door closing to steering wheel sequence is absolutely amazing. Something I haven’t seen in any other car reviewers repertoire. You’re always bringing something unique. Great review to boot.
Nailed the conclusion! The exact feeling I had when I test drove the new Civic Type R. There was a feeling of disconnect between myself and the car and your're the only reviewer to raise that point. Keep up your legendary work.

2018 wrx owner here. Look at any dyno chart of a stock FA engine. You can visually see the lumpy tune. Its a really... really... bad tune. Also the dip in power at ~4300rpm is just bad. Tuning them is really one of the better things you can do unfortunately and I wish we didnt feel it necessary to do it. A wrx/sti is a great option for this.
Jurassic Tech yeah the FA tune is shit and I’d rather risk blowing an EJ over that but the STI and standard WRX are 2 different cars when it comes to driving experience
I know... believe me. If I could have afforded it I would have done the STi in a heart beat. Oh well only another 4.5years till I can risk my warranty lol.
Jurassic Tech yeah I’m looking at the WRX and STI for that 2020 refresh as my next car after I graduate might go Si depending on how much graduate school is to save some money and have more for mods 😂
Well, almost every reviewer says it's the nicest daily drive car you can get on the market (as long as it's up for sale.) Ford could be a great choice, but it's a smaller car, it's a hatchback and also rides very harsh.
Your final thoughts hit the nail on the head...no, it's not the street/track machine it used to be...but my god, I LOVE driving my STi and do not regret buying one at all...it's just, fun.
You are a really talented reviewer. That was funny, informative, and genuinely enjoyable to watch. I could not swallow the price of the RA, as it was a bit above my budget and I was able to get a standard 2018 STI with Recaros for about $15,000 less than the RA (the prices one can get on the regular 2018 STI now are insane). However, I purchased it for some of the very reasons you touched on...remnants of an analog era, capable AWD, and the driving engagement. The heavy clutch and the heavy steering is just...so great. I'm still learning to deal with the understeer. It's far from perfect, but it's a lot of fun. I really wish my STI had the Alcantara wrapped steering wheel of the RA given how much better it grips when hands sweat.
I have a 2004 STI and I love it! It is old school and still all original and still very fast. And it still is a head turner. I am waiting to see what the next Gen is going to look like but it will be hard to beat the original. Subaru rocks they are the first car company to introduce an all wheel drive rocket that kicked everyones ass in 2004 and is still relevant today.
i own an RA after 4 years owning an sti and you nail it! RA feels 100 times more connected to the road than the regular STI. no regrets in my decision.
People criticize the EJ25 engine because it’s old, but I have one and it’s great. 305 HP with TONS of aftermarket, and tuning options. Fun cars, if you’re serious about driving.
When Subaru cuts the STi line just like the EVO because people complain like whiney 9 year olds like the comment section, you can thank yourself that there will just be a bunch of soccer mom cvt self driving electric cars left.
i think eventually it will be illegal to drive fast and dangerously. ok it already is but i mean the carmakers won't be able to make cars that go fast. i can envision total regulation of travel in the future and cars that go fast will become folktales that grandpa talks about.
the plan is for self driving electric cars and we will be limited where we can go. electric cars are dependent on charging stations and those will be totally controlled. not good if your social credit score is low. the fture is all about control and reduction of humans since AI will replace a lot of jobs.
Love the video. The shoppe part was really funny. Also, your demeanor, and sort of looks, reminds me of Agent Coulson from Agents of shield lol. Keep it up!
You have a premium exhaust that adds 2 HP... I literally LOLed. Just delete those mufflers already. No need. Also... Kudos on that entering the car shot straight into the cluster... that was awesome.
I'll tell you how tough the awd system parts are.. I just recently drove an 08 Impreza with stock suspension down a farmer's tractor road at 70 mph and had my head hit the roof a couple of times. Two CV axles, one wheel bearing and a speed sensor and it's just fine. I actually had my car buried to the doors at stock levels and still got home.... Ain't no other car in any form will ever be as good as the AWD of a Subaru. I've had three Chevy, three dodges, six fords and one toyota. Now I'm driving a Subaru. I'm never going back to anything else.
Very entertaining intro and a spot-on evaluation of the car (as usual). You highlighted many of the attributes responsible for me keeping my modified '09 WRX hatch for many more years. Hands-down, the BEST online car reviews . Keep up the excellent work!
your final thought is also my thoughts about getting the STi over the other competitors on the Market. On Spec comparison, the STi is the slowest of the bunch, but the driving experience is more engaging, and more connected. Good Review!
13:54 I really love the camera angle and the way it shifted. It maybe some sort of cinema magic but really digg it. Keep it up guys. Really appreciate the Honest opinions here. Even Scott's. LoL
Your outlook on cars (the pure, undisturbed driving experience) is what gravitates me to your videos. Apart from high quality video production, the sarcasm/humor, and very technical and detailed reviews. Awesome job.
I have an 05 sti, so it's just never been worth getting a newer one, due to them having basically the same engine and transmission. But one thing I would like to point out when comparing an STI to cars like the civic r, focus rs, golf f. These cars are all easily tunable to whatever horsepower you desire. It's relatively inexpensive to get a downpipe and ecu tune for any of these cars. So factory power numbers don't really mean much. But the STI has better AWD, better differentials.
Your final thoughts nail it on the head for me. For someone who's idea of what a car should be stems from the thought that I can feel the car, that I'm not disconnected by cables and sensors, that I can see without needing things beeping and squawking at me, this speaks to me. A lot of people would just tell you to get an older car. But of course that comes with older car issues; worn parts, no warranty, hard to find parts, etc. The fact Subaru is making a car like this, heck, the fact anyone is making a car like this, deserves my attention.
Your final thought is a true attestation of what a driver's car is. Having all the power without feedback to the driver is as good (or bad) as playing a video game. I love the weight of the hydraulic power steering, the manliness and strength of the transmission, and the overall mechanical feel of this car (pre-2018) over the fully electronic, tech-laden cars of today. There are so many artificial features in modern cars which are deemed "adaptive" to cater to a variety of people however that takes away the ability to live and learn with the car as we've done in the past. Driver oriented people make up only a small percentage of the population, and I'm totally behind you with your statement.
Arno van Zyl for $50k though the RA should have had a semi closed deck forged 8000 rpm ej207. All the benefits of liking to get wound out, but actually has low end response. Loses the lawn-tractor like “rumble” for twin scroll goodness. And it won’t eat ringlands.
Good review. I had a 2016 STI, loved it. Just picked up a 2019 STI. Not sure what Subaru did, but it just feels smoother. Lighter clutch, Feels even more planted (I thought the 19's would have a hard ride but surprisingly its much more comfortable and handles even better than my 2016. Yes its only an additional 5 horse but again for some reason it feels like its ready to dance more than the previous. Could it be the Billsteins? Revised ECU and 3rd gear? RA exhaust and intake addition? Something is different about this last run and I think Subaru Heavy Industries understated this one. I'm still in the break in period so I have not punch it yet but its feels very potent and planted. The new clutch feel alone makes it easier to driver in traffic and to punch through gears on open road. This last EJ I must say so far is the business.
Love your unbiased review. I am surrounded by vape smoke, mudflaps and neochrome lugnuts. My friends ask me why I can't leave the e36 platform alone, and why I bought tires for the FR-S instead of a catback. Nothing can replace that communication at the limit with these cars. With my 92 325i on an old set of Dunlop Direzza StarSpec Z1 tires, the z3 steering rack, and Bilstein struts and h&r springs really was the most connected feeling I think I'll ever get without being in a stripped down flat out race car. Still stock exhaust, still sagging headliner, still replacing tail light bulbs because the contacts in the housings are rotted. Guess what? I love it. That's why I'm subscribed to you and value your opinion; you get that feeling and share these values. We're the 1% and I wouldn't want it any other way. No homo
Excellent last point. "How much fun is it to drive; how does it make you feel?" is a very important sports car characteristic. To most buyers, that's more important than a Nurburgring time. I'm planning on buying a 2019 ND Miata with the updated engine. It won't be the most hi-tech sports car out there, and a V6 Camry will still blow the doors off it in a quarter-mile, but it'll put a smile on your face and make you a better driver if you put the effort in. I want that more than quoted performance.
All wrx owners do not vape. I went to the wrx national meet up and I seen 1 or 2 guys not vaping. They were sleeping in their car so I guess they might when they woke.
The funny thing is this 'vaping/riceboys' culture that you showed so well in the intro of this awesome video, it just doesn't exist in Europe at all. All the subaru owners here are usually very down to the earth folks or tech savvy people who love driving these cars in the mountains and twisties. And except for wrx owners, they are all usually mid age+ guys, not kids as the subarus are more expensive here than german brands. It has still the community feeling though, meets and stuff. It's a completely different perspective and as being a Subaru sti owner myself I can't help but wonder how it came for it to happen in America to be ridiculed so much. Loving your work as I can relate to your views so much, keep it up! And do the series from Scott's shop about everyday work as you promised on the 100k subscribers video please! Take care both -J.
OHHHHH MYYYYY I was going to skip this video bc I have no interest in Subaru’s but that intro made it so worth it I’m never skipping a geese video again
Just came from watching one of Doug Demuros videos and wow.. I love this channel! Very insightful and honest! Deserves way more views! Certainly a fresh breath of air!
I honestly agree. I love Subaru’s, even when I worked at a Subaru dealership I was still madly in love with the STI. It has its down falls but when you look at the older STI’s and compare them to the newer models it’s heartwarming in the sense that they’re all driver cars. They want to be driven hard, they want to be fun and balls to the wall. I’ve driven an older RA and it’s incredible, I don’t know how to stack it up to the new RA but if I had to guess it’s a world apart.
That is the problem, at least on the Japanese market. Sedans are considered stylish, hatchbacks are just not in fashion and often downgrade the image - same with Lexus, Toyota and Honda on Japanese market. If someone wants a cargo space they can buy Levorg STI with 2.0l 300 PS. I see a lot of them, often the STI versions. I think it is a really good alternative to WRX if someone wants cargo.
A levorg STI ? Where does this exist ? (not in France, but we don't have the WRX, just the WRX STI) and we don't have it anymore because of shitty emissions laws
I really enjoyed the video. This guy hits the bulls-eye with all the positive things. Yes it is old school, has the same 2.5 engine ( pretty much ) as my 2007 WRX but that's fine because that is a great engine. Were I in the market for a new STI, would I consider owning one ? Damn straight. Well done Subaru.
10:14 Scott: The rear ends are usually pretty muddy. Mark: Pfffft jeesh Turbowski, now we gotta edit that out. ** Leaves it in ** Awesome video. Love you guys.
Love the intro. I am filipino who is married to black lady, grew up in a city with blacks, italians, irish, and also have white cousins in Virginia. People need to relax, be less judgmental on the politically in-correct and take a chill pill. People need to be nice period! Back to car stuff. Got an 08 sti hatch and will buy another sti. next year. Keep on with the awesome videos.
I wish every video quality was as good as this one. The angles, composition and lighting all look great. Again, Video Quality is A1 which makes it watchable and enjoyable.
**** NEXT LEVEL SH@! **** Keep up the superb work! I’m actually looking for my next ride, it’s been a very long road... but the WRX STI is on my short list. I know this is an RA, but.... the 2019 is very close to this. I love the channel and I have been a subscriber for a long time, and I ain’t going nowhere.
This is the most entertaining review yet. This made me laugh more than the Kia Optima review from a few years ago, when Mr. Goose showed off his basketball "skills." This is my absolute favorite car channel.
savagegeese, regarding Todd's comments that Subaru doesn't want to spend money on performance cars. Did you hear that the new Subaru president is very interested in bolstering the performance line at Subaru and increasing investment in STI products? It could do wonders for bringing in long overdue changes with even a little money thrown the right way. The Ascent bringing in more cash could just mean more to spend on the fun bits! What do you think?
802 Garage -- I wouldn't hold your breath. Everybody said the same things about Akio Toyoda when he took the reins, yet despite the companies efforts Toyota today is still boring as shit. This car is the last of its kind and when it's gone, it's light out.
Gorilla Jones -- You forgot to mention electric vehicles, too. They may be extraordinary technological accomplishments capable of squashing their ICE rivals in many categories, but for me the fun-factor of a jucied-up, oversized golf cart will never compare to the sound and the overall driving experience of a well-executed, old-fashioned mechanical marvel. We are at the end of an era in the automotive world. Enjoy it while you still can.
savagegeese Thanks for replying! I'm doubting there will be a massive change too, but even a little could go a long way. They do already have a new engine in Japan, and the new FA24 could be a good performance base too! As for everyone else's comments, I still thinks it's great Subaru is bothering to make the BRZ, WRX, and STI when they could clearly drop them and make plenty of money on their commuter and family vehicles. Other companies like Mitsubishi and even Ford are dropping their hottest cars to our dismay. A new president saying he wants more performance can't be bad for we enthusiasts!
Wow what a good solid and informative review. You touched on so many things 101% of the reviewers miss and addressed the car for what it is. Told the truth everywhere; and concluded on what almost everyone who has one of these talks about: the intangible. 👍🏆
"...connectedness in your driving experience." Yeah! driving should be fun. Preach it! Great funny video, music, dancing, special guest appearances from the Pipes and Turbowski! It was like seeing the movie Oklahoma for the first time.
You know what? I don’t care about stats , data, engine age or whatsoever - every time I jump into my STi it puts a “heritage kind of smile” on my face and that’s what counts finally... so I absolutely agree with your verdict. Enough said✅
ChrisPewKreme .... I also own a few classic cars.... Youngtimer and Oldtimer. Technology from 50s to the 89s - ooooold - but much more expensive than my Subi 🤔😉
Love the honest commentary. I feel like most channels would choose the Type R. I know the Type R is a amazing but after driving one I prefer my evo over it. I just enjoy driving it more
The worse part of them keeping the engine for so long is they never fixed the ring land problem on the pistons which would cost them like 500 bucks per car
WRX'07 owner here, Subaru's are great, but they require a lot of knowledge to tune them, otherwise you will end up with broken engine and etc. Other than that, the car is superb, it is a joy to look at and drive it. This review was great, it was a pleassure to watch it

Von Ace i am a recent sti owner, what are these stereotypes so i can try to avoid them lol

You can buy the Type RA steering wheel from the dealer! It's around 400 USD last time I checked.
'"That Mitsutashi you got here " crack !!
Cant deny that it looks better than its competitors. Happy with my 2018 STI 👌🤙🤙
i own an RA after 4 years owning an sti and you nail it! RA feels 100 times more connected to the road than the regular STI. no regrets in my decision.
People criticize the EJ25 engine because it’s old, but I have one and it’s great. 305 HP with TONS of aftermarket, and tuning options. Fun cars, if you’re serious about driving.
10:22 - "rear ends are usually pretty muddy."
I love that you don't follow the norm on car reviews. Keep it up!
When Subaru cuts the STi line just like the EVO because people complain like whiney 9 year olds like the comment section, you can thank yourself that there will just be a bunch of soccer mom cvt self driving electric cars left.
Amen brother!
i think eventually it will be illegal to drive fast and dangerously. ok it already is but i mean the carmakers won't be able to make cars that go fast. i can envision total regulation of travel in the future and cars that go fast will become folktales that grandpa talks about.
Man you sure do seem to be very hurt over people talking bad about your toy tuners
Man you sure do seem to be very hurt over people talking bad about your toy tuners
the plan is for self driving electric cars and we will be limited where we can go. electric cars are dependent on charging stations and those will be totally controlled. not good if your social credit score is low. the fture is all about control and reduction of humans since AI will replace a lot of jobs.
Best. intro. Ever. I didnt see this car coming, you caught us all off guard! I love it.
Man that sound of the STI never gets old!
Love the video. The shoppe part was really funny. Also, your demeanor, and sort of looks, reminds me of Agent Coulson from Agents of shield lol. Keep it up!
You have a premium exhaust that adds 2 HP... I literally LOLed. Just delete those mufflers already. No need. Also... Kudos on that entering the car shot straight into the cluster... that was awesome.
alphazoom II Ya that entering car shot into the gauge cluster is pretty slick eh
:D
This channel should be the single biggest car channel ever. So top quality and such great humor with the music video
Amen, Mr. Hamel. I'm on my 3rd Subaru('18 Forester XT). She's a beast in the snow wi. proper winter tires.
The intro is a masterpiece. Congratulations.
I am getting my money's worth as a patron supporter. "Not an Impreza driver anymore."
Affalterbach 1967 I agree his intros always make me laugh
Very entertaining intro and a spot-on evaluation of the car (as usual). You highlighted many of the attributes responsible for me keeping my modified '09 WRX hatch for many more years. Hands-down, the BEST online car reviews . Keep up the excellent work!
your final thought is also my thoughts about getting the STi over the other competitors on the Market. On Spec comparison, the STi is the slowest of the bunch, but the driving experience is more engaging, and more connected. Good Review!
This is the best car review of all time 😂 I’m loving the humor of this channel
hory shet
production quality turnt up to EREVEN
The choice of sound and cinematography with that dawn or dusk ( can't tell) lighting, was just amazing. Great job!
13:54 I really love the camera angle and the way it shifted. It maybe some sort of cinema magic but really digg it. Keep it up guys. Really appreciate the Honest opinions here. Even Scott's. LoL
Mark A. Stephens its just a camera attached to the door when he shuts it.
CastironCowboy Don't take away the magic LoL
The music video alone is why this is one of THE BEST auto channels on UA-cam. Amazing.
HOVEY BENJAMIN MADE THAT BEAT
I was excited AF To hear his song on my favorite car channel!
Exactly. This guy is an idiot.
Yeah, you really shouldn’t buy a wrx of any kind to leave it stock no matter what version it is. They’re made to be modded.
Oh yeah until the engine blows up because it can only handle like 350 whp 😂
@@youmadbro9779 nope, internals probably won't make it to even 300whp lmao
lol wutttt
Your final thoughts nail it on the head for me. For someone who's idea of what a car should be stems from the thought that I can feel the car, that I'm not disconnected by cables and sensors, that I can see without needing things beeping and squawking at me, this speaks to me. A lot of people would just tell you to get an older car. But of course that comes with older car issues; worn parts, no warranty, hard to find parts, etc. The fact Subaru is making a car like this, heck, the fact anyone is making a car like this, deserves my attention.
@:52 is that Yuri from the Straight Pipes??? lol
Those moves tho
Top 10 Anime Crossovers
I had to go back and pause to make sure! Yay Yuri!
Those legs!
Yuri's the best...
What's this? A Subaru review without a stab at Subrudubauurxfan? At least the intro was gold.
Your "Final Thoughts" at 20:32 pretty much sums it up for me. This is part of the reason why I love my STI so much!
8:47 *RIP MITSUBISHI
802 Garage muchutashi man, its michutashi, intro 😀😂
😂🤣 Tru!
He really needs to review an Evo. *NEEDS*
Yes, I'm shocked Mr goose hasn't reviewed the Evo FE. I think he would be pleasantly surprised. Always had the edge over the STI.
They are pretty much RIP though... it's not much of a joke. It's true. Sure I miss seeing EVOs but do they make anything good anymore car-wise?
Oh my God that song was the best. Better than 99% of new music that comes out
ianriggs That's just some mumbling niggas shit
ianriggs True car guys listen to eurobeat and engine sound only
I've now watched this video twice in 12 hours. This video is a masterpiece.
Turbowski is back!! 😎🇺🇸
... and Terminated!! 😎
ua-cam.com/video/z1nWOy4bUgM/v-deo.html "Rear ends are usually pretty muddy".
He looks sharp as well :)
..annnd he's fired for drinking on the job🍺😂
He’s always cranky. Luv him for that.
I'm only 3 minutes into this review, and it's already on a higher level than any other car review I've ever seen.
Best car reviewer on YT for sure! The intro was sick!
No homo
You are ridiculously informative. I have little tolerance for BS, so I appreciate your style.
I came back for that intro song. Kinda wanna bump it in the sti
His power level is over 9000
Lol I swear man I never get bored with your reviews.
I agree with a lot of comments on subaru.
Surprised you picked it over the type R and RS.
Go subaru!
John Nguyen easy choice really sti, broken transmission or blown engine. Sti every time.
TheLiamis clueless
TheLiamis i can tell you dont know shit about the STI
the sti transmission is one of the best so it makes you not that credible.
Hey idiots. I'm pretty sure TheLiamis meant that type R= broken transmission and rs= blown engine. And that he will pick the STI every time
Excellent last point.
Does it come with a vape pen?
fogdood unfortunately not
NO People "too good at vaping" mod their own vape. But the RA should come with a built in 18650 charger.
What’s a vape pen? One of those devices from like 10 years ago?
I think so if you pre order with it. Make sure you get the subie juice tio
I'm not really a Honda enthusiast like I used to be, but in this case I'd take the Honda Civic TypeR.
MrStoneycool69 Hmm good choice I think I would take a focus RS and debadge it and paint it yellow like an ST
Get with the sube clic. Do you not want to hang . We have all put at least 4 motors in our car. Booooost em baby!!!!
Fwd is a no for me dog
Mark, this one has risen to the next level. There just isn't a better car review channel anywhere on UA-cam.
Extremely entertaining and educational review !!!!
Legit best car review I’ve EVER watched. This diserved to be on TV
in b4 video hits 1m views due to sick intro haha
That intro is going to make this channel go viral.
OHHHHH MYYYYY I was going to skip this video bc I have no interest in Subaru’s but that intro made it so worth it I’m never skipping a geese video again
omg, I'm lmfao this whole video... just had to pause and catch my breath at 11:29 when Todd returns. Best review EVAR!
"one of my favorite things is three things" - Savagegeese
Could only have been upped with "one of my only favorite things". A cringey speed habit of some people.
Didn't think the quality of your vids could be improved upon, but that intro, Turbowski's termination... brilliant
Just came from watching one of Doug Demuros videos and wow.. I love this channel! Very insightful and honest! Deserves way more views! Certainly a fresh breath of air!
stay here bro, this guy is the best if you want real technical reviews
Art Vandelay, oh, I am!
Jonny Villa Same thing I said I discovered this channel the beginning of 2018 some of the best reviews on UA-cam imo
I'm sad they don't make a hatchback version anymore, I really liked that.
Albedo I was in Japan a week ago and I saw a bunch of 2016 wrx hatchbacks. I’m not sure if it’s custom or what but it looked awesome
@@lucwal67 there is a 300PS version of Levorg on Japanese market. Have a look at their website for more details. :)
Nice !
it is really sad that this EU rules are screwing us though, even the french hot hatches such as the Clio RS are not sold anymore :(
Loved the shot/camera positioning @ 13:55 ! Superb job !!!
The best car video intro I've watched in a very long time!
11:17 lmfao this is why i love turbowski. i feel the same way
10:14
Scott: The rear ends are usually pretty muddy.
Mark: Pfffft jeesh Turbowski, now we gotta edit that out.
** Leaves it in **
Awesome video. Love you guys.
Hahaha wow man you're intro was damn hilarious! I hope you never change.
Lmao that music video was hilarious lmaoo IM DONE FAM
I wish every video quality was as good as this one. The angles, composition and lighting all look great. Again, Video Quality is A1 which makes it watchable and enjoyable.
**** NEXT LEVEL SH@! ****
Keep up the superb work!
Id love to see it but, the company as a whole keeps the purse strings so tight they would have to make some major changes.
Gorilla, man..That was super depressing :-/
savagegeese Thanks for replying!
👍🏆
love your reviews, keep it up.
Enough said✅
jogu123 but for $50k?
You can only pay so much for 2004 technology and “heritage”
ChrisPewKreme .... I also own a few classic cars.... Youngtimer and Oldtimer. Technology from 50s to the 89s - ooooold - but much more expensive than my Subi 🤔😉
Ha heritage kind of smile
I feel the same way. I could have brought a RS, Type R, or a Golf R. I chose the STI for all the reasons said in the video and the rumble.
Love the honest commentary. I feel like most channels would choose the Type R. I know the Type R is a amazing but after driving one I prefer my evo over it. I just enjoy driving it more
Do you still have both ? I have a CTR but looking for another vehicle to go along with it
Haha intro is great! WRX lifestyle in a nutshell
The worse part of them keeping the engine for so long is they never fixed the ring land problem on the pistons which would cost them like 500 bucks per car
"All of that adds up to 5 horsepower? 5. Thanks" HAHA
WRX'07 owner here, Subaru's are great, but they require a lot of knowledge to tune them, otherwise you will end up with broken engine and etc. Other than that, the car is superb, it is a joy to look at and drive it.
This review was great, it was a pleassure to watch it
