Paying for extra content? Sure. I'm broke af rn but would love to actually give money to some of my favs when I'm up. Paying for regular content with no benefit? Absolutely not lmao
The problem people have isn't that they want/need extra money for their projects, it's that they're moving their regular content that has been free for many years behind a paywall with seemingly no intention of doing anything with that extra revenue that would warrant their audience paying for it after years of being able to access it as easily as anything else on youtube.
They said it themselves, they are struggling to stay relevant so sponsorships are drying up. It's just funny to think that rather than produce better content they decided begging for money was the right decision
