I've heard some of them do this cuz they are working as some sort of slaves, so they curse and all out of desperation cuz they are pressured to achieve minimum monthly goals or something, but i don't know how accurate this is.

I've been able to get a few to be open with me and actually talk about their BS. They seriously feel entitled to people's money. Specifically American and British. They literally hate us. They have the same mentality of the people that would curb stomp a grandma for 20 bucks. It's disgusting.

I do something similar when scam phone calls come. The way that you always "talk over" the scammer is wonderful! I must go now. "Is this a virus?" There are many pages to "minimize" to get the "support" that I need. (Now, where is my "Right-Click"?)

I can say as an Australian I have definitely noticed the reduction in scam calls over the last 6-12 months...scam baiters - you guys are definitely winning! Thank you
In the last couple of months Telstra has focused on stopping calls from the Sub-Continent. Telstra Australia pulled out there last overseas call Centre from India a couple of months ago. India scammers are now affecting Indias Businesses.

I don't know how this scam would work in OZ. I don't know anyone motivated enough to actually go to a physical bank because of this kind of problem. Even if they were naive enough to believe them.

The reason the scam calls are lower in Aus is because the federal government passed laws forcing all the phone companies to block numbers from scammers, you can report a scam call to your phone provider and they have to block it or face up to $1.1million fines. This is also now coming into affect for scam texts as well. So a few scam calls get through but once reported and blocked they stop others from getting scammed by the same numbers. Maybe this is something other governments around the world should look at doing as well.

My 90 year old dad fell for one of these 9 days after my mom, his wife of 70 years died. They cleaned out thousands and we had to go to the bank while coordinating a funeral. It was awful. Thanks y'all for doing this

They way I heard of them getting people, because they heavily targeted my grandma, was to continually make calls impersonating a bank with "urgent" action that needed to be taken because of some discrepancy/issue with an account balance. "We've noticed too much money in account x.... we need to move it to account y for reason z". That was the number one scam they ran that worked the most because it worked fast.
Makes me furious thinking how they targeted my sweet little grandma that just wanted to make spaghetti and knit quilts.

Dude. I'm a 56 y/o grandma of 5 and watching this I laughed till I cried. I once got caught up in a scam and lost a lot of money so I enrolled in college to learn to do what you are doing. I’m a Senior Citizen and Thank you so very much for what you do. Also, I haven’t laughed so hard in a while, so entertaining. I’ve been harassed by scammers because I wouldn’t fall for their scam, so they would keep calling and getting almost abusive on the phone. I finally stopped answering any calls unless I knew the number.
Me too and it's sad when you have to not answer your phone because of these jerks. All the people who have tried to stop this should feel very proud of what they do. If I ever win any money, I'd support all these people. God Bless them.

Same here, I'm in Germany and have dealt with this for years,....scammers in Germany are based in Turkey.
I warned my 77 yr old father about scammers by sharing Pierogi's vids. He had already seen them!👏🏻 He was a big fan. Dad died unexpectedly last month. He is terribly missed & it makes my blood boil over when I see people abusing seniors. Thank you, Pierogi💙 & all of the hackers with 💛s of gold.

I love how he gave a heads up that he was going to 'curse you now'. I don't think I have ever seen someone get so angry that they give a warning of an impending stream of insults.
EDIT: It has been brought to my attention that this -gentleman- scamming SOB was most likely referring to a real curse, as is (so I've been told and have no reason to doubt) common in Indian culture.

You see a Real Tech Support Agent needs to be calm and peaceful during the call, but of course these scammers don't have a type of policy to even do that and then they just lose their mind.

There was a scammer who was totally calm the whole time, but toward the end, he was getting extremely sarcastic:
Scammer: What is your date of birth?
Vivian: December 25th
Scammer: Wow. That's quite a *divine* day....
(politely accusing her of lying)
They also have a Long Weekend coming up, so they're under tremendous pressure to hit their bonuses.

That's very disgusting. The level of aggressiveness he has while trying to steal from someone tells a lot. this kind of man is ready to kill in order to steal from others. This record tells a lot about these scammers' psychological system. scammers are very dangerous for the society.
