Porter shaking his head when you sung can you say mama mama lol so cute!! I have been watching your vlogs for a few years now and so happy too see you and your wee family all moved into your dream house so proud!!!
I had a similar wipe dispenser with my babies and it was so handy. I used it for years. He’s such a happy little man, he’s going to thrive at Daycare with all his new friends ❤
Amber teething necklaces are absolutly amazing!!!! Get the ones that are individually tied so if they ever break, they dont come off. They were a godsend for all 5 of my kids
It's better (in my experience with my two kids) to say goodbye vs sneaking out. It can cause them more anxiety if you suddenly disappear and leave them somewhere. They may cry at first, but with a consistent routine they learn that we come back. ❤
Hi Shan!! Just finished picking up my kids from school, laxing out for a bit before I start dinner, currently pregnant with baby number 7! So happy to be watching your vid Shan, love you!! 🥰🥰🥰
He's just so dang cute! My hubby & I both have brown eyes but our son has the lightest blue eyes I've ever seen! We were like what the heck?? They stayed that way too! Both of our moms have blue so that's where he got them.
My little boy (now 4) has bright crystal blue eyes. My little girl (5 months) has deep dark blue/green/grey I have brown/hazel eyes & my husbands are green/grey Blows my mind how genetics with eye colour works. Love porters room❤
Sorry not being abusive or anything but look at it this way, dump and run! Kids are very resilient. I learnt this when I fought back with my employee some 30 years ago and tried to drag them into the 21st century, rearranged EVERYTHING only to go back to original arrangements drop at childcare 7am and pick up 3pm cos the little tiggers whinged and cried etc only for me to find out they didn’t want my brekkie and lunch they were getting hell better stuff at day care. Revel in the fact children really are resilient it’s the concerned/caring parents who know what guilt is. Babies/kids don’t 😀😂 it’s a great learning adventure for them. Remember everything is shiny and new and adventurous. Encourage it. Let them climb trees, let them fall over (within reason) pick ‘‘em up dust ‘‘em off and urge them on. That’s how they will learn to ride bikes, roller skate etc . Just think, you will be able to go to the toilet IN PEACE!!!!! 🤣. In saying that checkout those eyelashes ❤
But also your children are young for a blink of an eye what’s the point in having them to have someone else raise them? There are more recent than 30 year old studies that associate time apart from primary caregiver to attachment issues in adulthood for one example of many
I have green eyes (but olive green) and my husband has brown eyes, and our first son started with blue eyes then at around the age of 4-5 they went greeny grey. Interested to see if our second son has the same, he’s a newborn so his eyes haven’t changed yet, but I’d be surprised if we had another blue eyed child, I wasn’t expecting to have one even though my first son’s eyes have changed haha
When you were saying about Louie (I hope that's how you spell his name) not liking kids etc. Dogs & cats rely on smells so with Porter, he has everyone's familiar smell so Louie will relate to him whereas when you have had friend's kids over or at parks etc they would all have unknown different smells maybe?
I reckon with the rug, keep it the way you have it but bring it in to the middle of the room and then I will be under a little bit of all the furniture? If you get what I mean 😅
I know it’s very normal to take your baby/toddler to daycare. I’d just like to say I took my son when he couldn’t talk yet and he loved it at first. After a while he was upset at drop off and pick up. We kept taking him thinking it would be ok until he could tell us what was happening.. He was being hurt by older kids with behaviour issues. I don’t think daycares do much to stop violent kids with behaviour issues due to fear of discrimination. Just be aware 🥺
I would just love to see a DITL or follow me around for the day.. more doing and less talking I don’t mean any offence by thqat but I’ve been listening to toddlers all day and I just wanna watch and unwind. Please I’ve been asking for ages even if it’s just once for me
I suggest you tape all those cords to the wall or remove them and place elsewhere. My son went to school with a boy who bit a cord and his brain was damaged.
I really don’t mean this offensively but I am curious and would love insight. Just wondering why people choose to have babies if they have to have them cared for before age 1 (or even 3 as recommended to stay with primary caregiver)? I mean when people actively choose to have children, would you not have your ducks in line/live within your means upon making that choice? If this offends you sorry but I would love to hear from people in this position in all honesty
i really don't mean this offensively but I am curious and would love insight. Just wondering how do you think people go to doctors, dentist, bank, hair, and vet appointments etc with a baby aged under 1? How do you think parents that work to afford their child go to work without putting said child in care? How many people do you think can afford not to work for 3 years? I mean when people actively choose to have children, would you expect them to have hundreds of thousands of dollars saved not to work and earn their 40-60k salary each year?? If this offends you I'm not sorry but I would love to hear from people in this position in all honesty
Personally I take my children to appointments I’m not really sure what that has to do with anything but you sound offended and not willing to have an adult discussion but thanks for giving me false hope.
@@plainwhiterhi when I was younger and had my baby I wanted my daughter with me at all times now that I’m in my 30s I have had another little girl and I feel like I’m struggling with adapting to baby life again and being much older I have less enegry I feel so I too decided for a day a week in nursery just so I can have a breather
I agree… they want the kids but not the responsibility of caring for them themselves 100% that’s how modern day women are they want to work work work no matter what

Ms Moni - the talking toddler is the Aussie version of Ms Rachel! My girls absolutely love it!!!
I love seeing videos with him in them... He is adorable!!! So blessed!!!
Ms Rachel was life for such a long time lol. Our daughter just turned 2. She loves the new ones still but will not watch an old one. 😀
I had a similar wipe dispenser with my babies and it was so handy. I used it for years. He’s such a happy little man, he’s going to thrive at Daycare with all his new friends ❤
Ugh I cannot believe how big porter has gotten! Feels like just yesterday you were telling us you were pregnant!
I remember seeing Porter on my Birthday with Shan and Ham, and porter was pretty bald lol his hair is really coming in now.

Ms Moni! Australian version of Miss Rachel haha I find her so much easier for the ears too! 😂
The look on my 8 month olds face when you started singing Ms Rachel was utter confusion 😅😅
More vlogs please it’s been ages!
Yay!!perfect timing ❤❤❤

Do yo any chance have a discount code for the rugs you got ?
Yay! Perfect timing xxx
It cracked me up you trying to use the baby safe products to open the cupboards. Adult proof too lol
He looks so much like hamish!
what a cute baby. I'm nervous about the art hanging above his cot, incase of an earthquake or anything I hope they don't fall down on him.

It's the cheeks for me 😍
Pull the rug off the wall, slightly more to the middle of the room 👌. Porter is so cute!!
We've had so many praying mantises at home and every time I get so paranoid thinking I'm pregnant 😂
Also get some medijel if you haven't tried it! It's been a saviour for my kids when teething x
❤❤❤

Thank you! Going to sort my house out too now!
When my son got his eye teeth it was Horrible 😢 they were the worst! It made him have flu symptoms and horrible diapers
Where is your little dog, this is dixie from texas, hi porter. We love you and mom and dad.
Daycare sucks they get sick all the time!!!! It's so hard.
in my opinion, P's eyes are not staying blue. They already look hazel to me.
alikandz 😀sheiscomming
Praying mantis on the window hehe 👀

i will never understand why people put carpet floors and then put a carpet over it 😂 why not just put wood floors and them add a carpet
Those cheeks are divine!
