@northerntoyota7584 yeah, it blows my mind how hard they are on them. This farm used to use hondas but they didn't like the shifting and they had less ground clearance and got stuck too easily.
Jap models have held up better for me on the farm even though I keep buying a ranger 😅 maybe this new 24 model 1000 will be better than the last 570 I had.
@northerntoyota7584 I know several local farmers here in Mn that only use Honda atv's and SXS. all I do on them is basic maintenance for them. I have a 2003 Rincon 650 with 9500 miles. All ive done is sacrificial parts on it.
Where are you located? Id love to bring my 86 230s quadsport. Has a ticking noise on bottom right side of the engine. Runs good starts 1st kick every time. I don't have the experience to pull the lower end apart so it stays parked in my garage.
It’s ridiculous that people treat their equipment like that. I don’t care what field of work you are in, there is no excuse to treat a quad like that and abuse it like that. Maintain it, wash it, and you can work it without it looking like that!
@nathanwhite509 yeah, they have a problem of employees using them with no real knowledge of how they should be used. I've bought quite a few from this farm and they've all been just as bad, minus the peeling plastics. I've replaced power steering units, clutches, fixed transmissions, front diffs, and all sorts of stuff on the ones I've bought.
@@CKPowersportsthat’s crazy that people treat nice quads like that. I’m sure with those there is a lot of forward and backwards and not fully stopping to put it in gear
That’s a short hard life! Interesting to see if a Honda, Suzuki or Yamaha would hold up better?

That bike has less than 3000 miles on it I don't care how hard it's been used it shouldn't be that war out with such low miles.
@bigjay6743 it did have 800 hours too. It's the cow crap though that does it. It's so corrosive. It's the definition of rode hard and put away wet.
