The way that I like to do it is that ill listen to the audio. The mindflayer makes noise for every attack and always starts with the instakill one. The instakill one goes up in sound about 5~6 times you should aim to attack right as the third one starts not immediately after the second one but just as you start hearing it start.

I just cant get rid of the satisfying alternate piercer charge shot + railgun + shotgun knuckleblaster combo on the mindflayer, its just too much dopamine to be replaced with a single timed projectile boost.
It's that all? I was trying to create a really hardful damage combo to kill it, and i just needed was + x5 friendly fire + Boost projectile the Shotgun
Alright I pulled it off. It doesn't seem easy enough to rely on without extensive practice but I think it's worth noting that it is much easier if you get all up in her face, but this poses greater risk of taking damage since the trick needs an explosive radius to pull off. I also have the easiest time doing it with the malicious railgun

I see a lot of players Slam Store to get up real high and isolate the flayers. That could help out some in the future if you haven't tried that yet.

I've also heard the screwdriver railcannon stops them from teleporting during it's duration.

If you time it *just* right, you can one-shot (or close to one-shot) the druid with the fuller auto attack
