Katelyn thank you for your videos! I am a single dad with full custody of two teenage boys. One is 250 lbs and 6' - 5" and the other is 6'-3" and 145 lbs. Suffice to say we go through ALOT of food. I recently bought a 17 cu freezer and am planning to load it up with ready to eat meals. You are a godsend Katelyn. Love your non non-sense approach to this stuff. Thanks and rock on! Ken
I'm so glad that you find my videos helpful! I'm sure you do go through a ton of food with two teenage boys...I remember how much my brother ate at that age 😂
I started doing this and now it is something that our family does every time. When we make our taco meat we add a can of either pinto/black/kidney beans for each pound of ground beef! It adds to the flavour and makes the meat go farther!
Perfect timing for this video! I'm 29 weeks pregnant with twins and my husband doesn't get any paternity leave either. He's always been back to work two days after our babies are born. I will definitely be make up these recipes! They look so easy and exactly what I need!
My husband went back to work all 4 times, the same day the babies were born. Oh you pushed out the baby, bye. I’ll come back to get you when you get discharged. I’m not having another but this is so helpful I’m making
I love these types of videos. If you do one again it would be so helpful to see a picture of what it looked like cooked. Thanks for the comments about the seasoning packet being salty. That always helps!
I will definitely try to remember that for next time 😊 I didn't even think to take pictures of them as I was using them after having our son. Thank you for the tip! 😊
Precooking ground beef is a HUGE time saver! 2 cups cooked is a pound and is easy to throw into casseroles. I do the same with chicken. Instapot cooked and shredded chicken in 2 cup (1 lb) bags makes dinner SO fast!
Isn't it the best?! I feel like it's one of those hacks that has helped me so much in motherhood during this busy season. Having precooked meat really does making busy weeknight dinners such a breeze! I hope you have a good week 💕

Thanks for sharing. This is much better than meal prepping, the food can go bad after a few days. I need this idea so that it could last the entire month. I'm cutting back on my spending with groceries. This is a big money saver. I may be able to get away with $100-$150 in groceries for the month. We're family of 2!
Congratulations on your baby!!! These recipes look so good! My daughter is due with our new grandson in the middle of January, so I am going to make these for her. Thank you for all you do!!
Thank you! And how exciting. I'm sure she would be so grateful to have so many meals prepped for her. What a good Mom you are. We need all mamas to be that thoughtful! 😊
I'm not a mom, but I always pre cook ground beef, half into taco meat. Portion in 1cup and freeze flat for quick thawing. We make nachos, tacos and quesadillas alot. Saves on take out. New subscriber. I also will mix in ground chicken or ground turkey too.
Doesn't it work so well?! I feel like you can never go wrong with something quick and easy to grab and thaw out in minutes. Thank you so much for subscribing! 💜
I'm trying for the first time putting up freezer meals for the busy summer. After watching countless youtube videos your bbq chicken recipe looked like a winner. And sure was! We had it on some homemade hamburger buns with macaroni & cheese and Broccoli. The leftovers will be served on baked sweet potatoes later on. Thanks so much for the recipe!!
I appreciate all the hard work you put into this video even after having a baby and I really liked a lot of your tips and tricks. Thank you for your content.
Thanks for these! I have 4 boys , 5 and under and my husband is also a farmer, I know the feeling! Lol always had all of my kids with me alone as soon as I got home from the hospital, and had to bring him hot meals to the fields 🤪

I love your timesaving meal prep ideas. I don't have a lot of space in my freezer but once I do I will try some of these, especially the precooked ground beef.
Hey girl, Welcome Back! I've missed your videos! Your always a joy to watch. My YT algorithm has been all messed up and I hadn't seen your channel come up in a really long time.

Hello, thank you so much for these recipes. Can you or anyone in the comments tell me how long you can keep these foods in the freezer? Thanks in advance :)
No, I do not. It's actually not recommended anymore. It can cause more cross contamination. I'll link an article here for you if you want to learn more about it 😊 health.clevelandclinic.org/should-you-wash-raw-chicken/
I currently have cancer and have a major surgery next month that will have me out of commission for 8 weeks. I plan on making all of these because the good Lord knows Keith can’t cook to save his life. Anything he can just throw in a slow cooker, instant pot, microwave or air fryer is on the menu lol
These are amazing recipes for freezer meals. However, I am literally gone from 7:30-5:30/6:00 daily with a new job. I'm struggling with dinners I need something quick and easy. However I am gone too long to leave these in a crockpot. I have a Ninja Foodie, however I primarily used the air fryer, because I have no experience with the instant pot portion. Any suggestions? Thank you for sharing this!
I would try making the sloppy joes or tacos that I share in this video. Then you can just pop them in the microwave for a couple minutes and then serve.
Do you cook it in these bags or do you put the inside into the crockpot? Never had this type of pot, so not sure how to use it :) Also are these zip lock bags on amazon? Just wondering where to buy them in europe :) Thank you so much for your video, as a new mum it is great inspiration how to save time with cooking and still eat something else than frozen pizza type of meals 😅
I get the bags at my local grocery store. I do not cook in them though. I just dump all the ingredients out into my crockpot when I'm ready to cook. I always spray my crockpot with oil to help prevent sticking. I hope this helps!
It's technically best to thaw overnight, but I often throw them in my crockpot frozen and they turn out totally fine 😊 I just always cook on the high setting if I'm cooking from frozen

However you like really! You can thaw overnight if you want or heat on low in a saucepan. I have also taken out of the bag completely frozen and just warmed in the microwave when I have been in a pinch. I hope that helps!
Some people do like to do that. It's actually not recommended anymore though. It can cause cross contamination. The CDC has more info on their website if you want to check it out.

I wish that I had done something like this before giving birth. Honestly did not expect to have such a hard recovery.
I felt the same after our first son, so I definitely prepped for myself before having our second and third babies. It helped so much!
For the Queso chicken. Was that 1/2 jar that you split in two. Or did you split that big jar into two?
Split the big jar into two bags. I would say that I added probably about 1 cup or so to each bag
So how do you reheat the meat for the sloppy joe's??

Do all Americans use so much seasonings? You probably can't even taste the taste of meats you're cooking. Just my observations, no offense
I'm not sure, but you are more than welcome to cook however you like. Add less seasoning if that is your preference.
