Okay is it just me or when I see Russian nesting dolls, I want to see one with studio ghibli character on them. Like, tortro as the main doll, then no- face, the robots from Castle in the sky next, and so on untill they have a bunch of recognizable characters from each movie as a doll.

I’ve been doing this since the early 80’s before the internet. glad to see it’s finally catching on . FYI they were impala not deer . You improved that junky old painting by a lot . The first one has a stranger thing vibe . The second one 👍👍❤️ you made an excellent choice going with acrylics on a print . That’s exactly what I do .

Aww, Russian doll is cursed? I have two just like that, had them since I was a kid. Oil paint fumes, I feel that, I can use just two watermixable brands (Jackson’s and Winsor & Newton) with a good mask on and the window wide open, and then it only makes my throat dry vs chest tightness. Mineral spirits are worse, actually worse for you without the odour. Daler Rowney’s paint was the worst I tried. Your tall guy remind me of another film, don’t wanna name it cos spoilers, but they all really fit the original painting. Nails sticking out of the paintings, whoops. The pretty print makes me think of a pleasant scene from Poirot. I love what you did with it, you captured them so well, they look cute and like they’re having a good time. I wondered what they’d think when you donated it back, well, lol.

there wasn’t glass over the oil painting, it was just framed. i thought the print was watercolour or acrylic haha

Great Video, I'm actually getting ready to do a video where I do this. I wanted to see how other creators went about filming one of these. If you enjoy the Re-Arted paintings you should check out Wayne White, the guy who did the puppet and set designs for Pee wee's playhouse. Umm yes The Village was amazing. It was unfortunately marketed as horror when really its more of a drama about people's reaction of suffering and the evil in the world.
Don't get idea of returning painting anonymously.....why not just take in and donate it anyway? Or even say You've repainted it?....they might just give you more paintings to do for them ....or even pay you a small commission on one's they sell. Why the Banksy style drop off? Makes not sense.
