Thanks Chris and Jane, glad you enjoyed watching all the vintage vehicles on the run, it’s been a great weekend and hope you’ve had a good one also, best wishes nige 👍
Thanks Alistair, I bet you enjoyed being part of that run, it’s great to see these vehicles still running and great for the Brough - Kirkby Stephen area, cheers 👍
Thanks Ivan, yes a big thank you to all those involved with organising this event and blessed with lovely weather again, I thought you be around somewhere, cheers 👍
Thanks Andrei, yes there was a great variety of vehicles and great to see some of the older ones still running, you could be right on the mini coach as I couldn’t clearly see the makers badge, cheers 👍
I can now confirm that KLP 1D is a Duple B19F bodied Bedford J2 fitted with a 214 cu in / 3.5 litre petrol engine. New in 1966 but not registered with the DVLA until 1985, so probably a former military bus. I was responsible for one of these when I worked for the DoE. Stylish exterior but very basic interior. The ride was extremely hard because of being mounted on a lorry chassis.
Thanks Tim, yes you wouldn’t like to come up against a convoy coming the other way on them roads, trouble for you was so much to see and were restricted to the amount of time you had with having to catch your train, cheers 👍
Nige, you can Time Travel!! I'm impressed. Could you go back to the 30's on the WCML, and catch a few streamlined Coronations, and perhaps Turbomotive, or even Lizzie on her record run? Nice video. Al.
Really enjoyed watching your lovely video. Really hope you are well and having a great Monday. Many thanks from Chris and Jane

Cracking weather for filming the run Nige and a great selection of vehicles

@@nige7577 Duple body I think.
It's a Duple body and probably mounted on a Bedford J2 chassis.

Fine array of vehicles and good day for it. Just seen the Jacobite at Glenfinnan, think there was around 300 people there.👍
Thanks David, always great to see the old one’s still running, hope you’re getting some good weather as Glenfinnan is a busy spot nowadays, cheers 👍
@@nige7577 yes weather was good yesterday. Got some decent shots of black 5.
Not a good day to be driving in the opposite direction! You certainly caught more of the vehicles than I managed.
Thanks Tim, yes you wouldn’t like to come up against a convoy coming the other way on them roads, trouble for you was so much to see and were restricted to the amount of time you had with having to catch your train, cheers 👍
