Nice to see the railways included with the Kirkby Stephen signal box. Your video brought back some childhood memories when Australia had predominantly British trucks and buses when I grew up in the 1960's and into the 1970's then the Europeans "arrived" (Mercedes, Volvo, MAN, Deutz and Scania etc) followed by the Americans, sadly the British vehicles vanished, now it's Japanese, Korean and Chinese made trucks and buses. My best mate's dad had a Commer (5.14) "Knocker" the twin headlight model and had many rides in it. Very enjoyable and thank you for sharing.😉👌
Lovely vehicles, all of them, in their time they were the king's of the road, it's lovely to see them again, thank you for posting your video, keep on trucking 👍
Helmbar that 6LW has a nice note like a Leyland 0600. Maybe the exhaust system has something to do with it. Hong Kong ran Guy Arabs with Gardner in and were very reliable. They are their last half cabs and were retired around 1996 I believe.
Sir nice video compilation of Trucks, especially @ :20 the leyland model is awesome - kindly visit my channel, since most of videos on ashok leyland and one : - vintage Very Rare model of Leyland 1970 model Reiver - loaded with bulldozer

Cada carro mais lindo que ô outro
When you could tell the make of truck by the sound, without seeing it ! Them were the days !
Yes I agree, ERF's and Atkinson's etc all had their own distinctive sounds.
Lindos esses carros deferentes dos daqui do Brasil
thanks for the comments. Much appreciated.
Is that a Meadows engine I'm hearing in that Guy 6:06?
What a beast!
Should have a Gardner 6LW in! It's got a Gardner badge on the grill. They had a longer snout to get the Gardner in.
